    Have these pedals been discontinued?
What other pedals are similar, having a hard time locating one at this time.

As far as I know you can still get the Attack Decay. It’s a shame you can’t find one! You could check out other auto swell pedals but I don’t have any experience with them. EHX also recently released a ‘pico’ series. These are well known pedals in smaller form. There’s also a pico version of the Attack Decay. I’m hoping to do a video on that soon.

@@AmbientExploration Man, thank you for your response. I was looking at the "Pico" series and considering them. The "Attack Decay" look like they are solid, I'm still looking around for a trustworthy source.

Cool! I like the continuous envelope mode too. I find it awkward to set up, but is a nice variation on a tremolo sound (more choppy).

Great demo! How does the poly mode on the Attack Decay compare with the poly mode on the Enzo?

    • @AmbientExploration

Thank you!! The biggest difference is that the A/D and Enzo are two different effect types. The A/D is an auto swell pedal and the Enzo is a synthesizer pedal. Apart from that, with the A/D in poly mode each note you play has a seperate volume envelope applied to it. Regardless of other notes that are being sustained. In mono mode the envelope resets with each new played note. Poly mode on the Enzo transforms your guitar into a polyphonic synth, allowing for multiple notes to be played together (chords for instance). In mono mode you can only play one note at a time. Hope this helps!

These are great tones and the explanation is very helpful! One of the more musical demos I've heard on this pedal Tyvm

On the bubble preset 2, I'm assuming that's not all coming from the attack decay right? That sounds like it's going into a modulated delay and/or like an octave reverb or something. The attack decay can't do that, right?

This sound comes from just the Attack Decay! In this example the only other effect I'm using is regular reverb. It takes some knob twisting but you can get these sounds for sure.

@@AmbientExploration Man that's a really cool sound that I wouldn't have expected it to be able to do! I'm curious if the new mini version can do that, which I'm waiting on being shipped. Great video, and thanks for the reply!

@niclastname1116 no problem and thanks for watching! I’m also curious what the mini version can do, maybe I’ll get it at some point to do a comparison.
