Kian, after almost 5 months, I'm almost sub 15 using Roux! I'm sub 20, but sometimes I can do between 13 and 15 sec. Currently, my PB is 11.73 seconds! :)
@@tastytryhard947 I gave up on roux lol and decided to just fully learn cfop. I average around 20 secs now, but probably still around 45sec if I use roux. I might pick it up again since I know cfop now.

Perfect timing, I just got some of my friends into cubing recently and this video is exactly what they need. I was teaching them roux before they even knew notation
Thanks Kian my fastest solve is like 2:07 so I'm pretty slow and I've been speedcubing for about a week now. I can tell this will really help me get faster. Now I just need to memorize 2 look algs
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Been struggling with blockbuilding trying to get sub 20. My splits are like 10 seconds for first and second block, and L10P 9-10 seconds with 2 look.
Thank you for all your videos! I have been learning roux for about 2weeks now. I still don't know how to do all the 4C cases so I'm using a mixture of block building, solving DF then DB, and beginner method for the last layer. I am averaging sub 1min at the moment. But your content really helps the most out of all the others. Great job teaching sir!
I've been using beginner roux for a couple months now, and I average around 25 seconds with it, I'm excited to learn these new strategies to help get sub-20.
that's super useful. great video! I've been doing slow solves trying to find these cases and get used to them, but I think I'm still using inefficient solutions a lot of the time. I need to sit down with the block building trainer more.

@@vssu123 kk. Today i took a first look in the algs for all the cases because before i tried to get the arrow by doing random m and u turns. Now, i want to start learning the cases to get near 30s But for me blocks aren't that hard because i learned f2l before with cfop.
@@RedCnMn It's actually a really bad habit to implement F2L in your Roux solves because it's pretty inefficient, you kinda need to get creative in some cases.
Hello. I just switched to roux a few days ago and I am trying to get the hang of it. My pb with cfop was 37 seconds. Now with roux I have a pb of 1:00. I am starting to regret my decision. How can I get better with roux? Mostly my block building is slow cause I do it f2l style. Any advice?
Still on your beginner videos. Excellent videos, but I'm very slow at Roux after starting off with F2L. Frankly, I'm bad at both so far. But, I'll hang in there. Best time for any method...3:00 minutes, lol! Goal is under 1 minute. I play too much chess. :) Also, I'm an older dude! Peace!
Very good. I got slower too when i started intermediate blocks but you will get it down in some weeks for sure. I average about 1.10min with roux and cfop^^

I've been looking for a video like this! I average sub 30 with a pb of 19.21 but I've needed this kind of tutorial because my block building is incredibly inefficient. Speedy CMLL and EO makes up for it at times but if I get a bad case then I'm back to 35 sec solves.
First if you know ZZ and CFOP then you can do this the first step is from ZZ first you make a white line and make sure the colors that stick with the white edge match then the next one is from Cfop is be efficient at f2l and solving the f2l pair you must solve the f2l pairs and put back in the slot and make sure you do it less than 20 seconds
I switched to Roux 2 months ago and I'm already quicker than on CFOP with my PB being 31.04. thanks for your great tutorials on this neglected method ;)
