Thanks! I just got this in the IKM Group Buy, but haven't had the patience (or hard drive space) to install it yet. 67+GB of samples. I appreciate your demos, so that maybe I can just star with installing a few favorites!
Great video/demonstration!! You speak (as is appropriate to explain some things), AND provide excellent examples of the sounds this can produce. Considering the 'range' of high quality, expressive sounds that this software is capable of generating, I'd say it's worth the money. I just finished installing this today. Your video has 'inspired' me now!! :)
I slipped on a follow man, you're video really helped me out on searching out a multi-functional vst. I've recently got myself back in to creating random projects & I love the diverse sounds this Syntronik has. Very much appreciated on the bits of demonstrative uses you made on this, for something that is free, it has amazing quality.
I have Syntronik. Seems like there are very little presets for each synth. Is Syntronik basically just a sampler for these synths? And if you want a full version of any of them you buy them? Just trying to understand what Syntronik actually is.
I bought the Total Studio 2 Max bundle on sale for $250, which included this. I really bought the bundle for Amplitube 5, but all the other stuff is pretty good. I would say Syntronik sounds great, but has limitations with tweakability. Still, the sounds you do get are quite good. Combined with everything else in Total Studio, it's a very good deal. The download sizes are a bit wacky, but in the era of 100GB game downloads, it's nothing to crazy.
I hope you also got the 5 new synths in the Group Buy!! For anyone wondering they are the VCF3, Memory-V, M-Poly, SH-V and Modulum, all included in the Deluxe set.
@@RomanRiccio-- I would urge you to make sure you grabbed them in the IKM Group Buy, but I'm afraid it officially ended yesterday... actually it ended Oct 31, but there was a 7 day loophole where you could still join... but there will be more opportunities in future, so you'll have another chance.
The T-03 doesn't sound anywhere close to the TB-303. AudioRealism's ABL3, D16's Phoscyon, Roland Cloud TB-303 and Anton Savov's Venom VB-303 (free, but only available as Win 32 bit VST) are doing a way better job emulating the 303.
The IK Multimedia Product Manager is an absolute nightmare when it comes to a download and instillation program. It's the pitts and their customer support is terrible! You wait days for a response which is usually a system generated response and they couldn't organise flies around crap when sorting out my many issues when I upgraded to Total Studio Max 4. The program settings is supposed to allow you to set a file download path to an external library but it still downloaded those huge files onto my system drive, causing it to quickly fill up! The sounds might be good but everything else about IK Multimedia gives me a very severe case of anxiety and anger! The 180 day download period after which you have to pay to download files of products that YOU'VE ALREADY PAID FOR is truly despicable and I'll never purchase anything from IK again despite having been a loyal user of their products since 2004! Even a rep from IK Multimedias Australian distributor who was absolutely fantastic with his assistance mentioned that dealing with the company is less than pleasant and that they have a very sanctimonious approach to communication and customer service. The arrogance of IK Multimedia when I've dealt with them has been truly breath taking and I don't remember them behaving this way when I dealt with them back in the early 2000s. I managed to get the many sound library files and file paths downloaded and working but it took me many days with a lot of trial and error, gnashing of teeth and much swearing! I decided to reinstall the IK Product Manager because I was having so many issues with JavaScript errors and the like and then the sounds page said that none of my files were downloaded and installed! As a matter of fact, their reprehensible 'customer service' gave me no correct answers and suitable solutions and their IK Multimedia Product Manager makes it feel like that we're back in 2003! They've certainly lost me. It's such a great shame really as their products are actually fabulous once their set up correctly. I'll stick with Native Instruments, Arturia, Fxpansion and Izotope, all of whom have product installers that do all the hard work of downloading, installing and authorising their products for you with the minimum of fuss! BYE BYE IK MULTIMEDIA!!!! 🤬🤬
@@RomanRiccio yep it's been an absolute nightmare and unfortunately IK Multimedia aren't the only company with a sanctimonious approach to customer service. Antares isn't any better as I'm currently experiencing with them waiting days for answers to legitimate questions regarding reinstallation of my PAID FOR PRODUCTS from that company.
Does the 17 instruments come with the initial purchase of Syntonik or should it be purchased separately? Is the SY99 part of the initial Syntonik purchase? I see Rolan & Yamaha instruments sold separately. Not sure why ,if it is included in the initial purchase.
I just checked the website and it says that Syntronik comes with the 17 instruments including the SY99, and Syntronik Deluxe has another 5 synths for a total of 22.
I reached out to them & they never responded. Their website says :" Syntronik includes 17 amazing Synths, available as a collection or separately, with over 2,000 preset sounds...".However I don't understand why these instruments are sold separately if they are already included ! I don't think these instruments can work outside of Syntronik! Very confusing!
Just recently purchased this one but when i opened it it only has 2 presets per synth.I was expecting to have more than 2 or 3.Is it supposed to be like that?in total i don;t even have 40 presets and that a full $199 product.
LOL! Very expensive? It's pretty cheap I would say, and it's on sale at the moment. And yes, it's sample based just like the UVI synths, so it will require more space. If you don't like it there are plenty of algo synths out there. Personally I prefer the hybrids.
Thanks for this video. Best demo video out there on youtube for this plugin!!
Cheers! And thank you!
Great review and helpful to hear how one might use the patches in an actual track
Thank you!
Really enjoyed this overview! Nice demo of patches working well together - got me inspired to create something new with Syntronik 2!
Thanks David!

I have it. I like Amplitube 5 and T-Racks 5.
The sounds of Syntronik are very useless for me. I don't like how it sounds.
Awesome! Yes, Total Studio 2 Max has a ton of good stuff.

I got mine last year so I don't have the new synths but I definitely want them!

Brass - Brass PolyM
Bass - Underground Club House
Lead - Sentimental Solo

Do you need ST4 MAX or can they be used independently?
The website says that you can load Syntronik sounds into ST4 for more expandability, but I don't see anything about it requiring ST4.
What midi files your using?
I played and recorded the midi for everything in the video.

I believe this is extremely good value with so much simple control overall
You are complaining about things that were clearly described to you before you "bought" it.
Where says "a lot of useless cheap sounds"? I can't find this part.
