I so need to update my Rocinante build with one of your rail guns and the flak cannons as the PDC's. If you do make the flak cannon bullets looks bigger, that would be amazing. The disco-ball shield generator is a very, very happy accident that I'm glad has occurred too.

Hey! I use the Matilija stuff. Huge fan of the glass spine habs. Keep making ship modules you have a talent for it. I really love the direct fire weapons. The crimson fleet did not know what hit them!
The lights on the rotating part of the shield onlybworking in space, seem to be the same thing with your spotlights. They don't work when on the ground but work in space
Looking like they come from the weapon being fired.... clutch fix. Only other issue I had was using BOTH entrances on new landing bay... had ship in big loop, said no cockpit connection. Just started ng+ so will test again. Thanks
You can use both entrances, but you can not connect a cockpit directly to the landing bay, you need to have at least a 1x1 or something along those lines between the two.
First offi love the mod, I’m on Xbox, just updated to 5.0, testing you guns…. There’s quite a few issues so far the particle cannons, (haven’t tested the others yet) the spinning parts absolutely awesome except I keep getting a few issues after grav jump and in-system traveling the spinning parts randomly clip out and spawn in behind the guns Second big issue is they not lining up I have two mounted to the sides of the C2 cockpit, one shoots up the other shoots down none shoot straight, actual guns twist on take off Tested A, B and C of the particle cannons, its mostly A having the most issues but they’re all doing it,
That's odd, they shouldn't shoot in different directions, I'll take a look when I get the chance, I think I know what causes the random clip, unfortunately i'm not 100% positive yet on if I can fix it or if it's simply an engine limitation.
Can't wait!! By any chance, did you add lights to the hab areas of the elevators? They can be really dark, and you can't interact with the elevator while in build mode to go between floors!
Not much I can do about the interact when in build mode issue, that's a vanilla issue that prevents interacting with lots of things when you are in build mode. As for lights in the elevators, they getting an update, but they will still be a little on the darker side, on purpose to ensure that we get shadow casting through the windows as they move between floors.
Unfortunately, no, I can't, due to how the elevators work, there can only be one active interior door, I can cheat and make the active door have a mirrored vertice on it's opposite side to make a double door, but I can't do all 4 sides.
for some reason your weapons are not showing up in the Ship Builder (same as that one cockpit) the Habs show up and work and some of the components under the Structure Tab
Are all the turrets 270 now? I love the flak turrets but could not use on most ships since they would kill my boarding target. If 270 can point them backwards.
270 covers all but the very rear 90 degrees of a ship, if you don't want them to kill a target, simply power them down, or they will fire if that enemy is in their firing arc. I do have 2 different weapons that are a full 360 though, those are the spherical turrets and the EM turrets.
I love the Em turrets they are on all my capture ships now. Will start putting your other turrets facing rear so they don't shoot in front arc then. Only manual fire forward ty
mate you really need to get an Xbox please. Sick of being a tester and not being paid for it. many modules just don't connect like they should like at all. I can't get the flip trick to work maybe i just don't have the coordination right
It's a free mod, if you don't want to help improve the mod with feedback, that's perfectly fine and acceptable. However, if that's how you feel, I would recommend waiting on feedback from others before deciding to download though, and if there are issues, wait for them to be resolved, and then you never have to feel like an unpaid tester.

Really looking forward to this update. But I gotta say I really love the audible sound of your class A engines when I'm boosting.
Excited about more direct fire or manual fire weapons. I never use auto weaponry on my ships for more of a challenge and fun.

Is there any reason why weapons aren't appearing in the ship builder? Keep running into that problem

I'd love to try these, but Bethesda still haven't fixed the crashing. No news. Nothing. 6 weeks and they are doing nothing to help us. It sucks.
