@@elwin38 Contrary to the belief that John just fell in love with Yoko as soon as he met her and then they lived a fairytale life together, actually John wanted nothing to do with Yoko at first. She had to wage quite a determined campaign just to get him to sleep with her, and even then, for a year she was just the side chick trying to get a toehold in his life by feeding him drugs and stalking him at his marital home, and at work. She'd just show up at his work and most of the time he'd refuse to see her so she'd hang around outside, hide behind a car, then ambush him when he was leaving, pretending to just accidentally be running into him. Extremely devious. She'd go to his and Cynthia's home and just hang around outside. Once it was raining so hard Cynthia took pity on her and invited her in. So Yoko left her ring so she'd have another excuse to get into his home. It wasn't about what John wanted. Yoko forced herself on him, deliberately made Cynthia know about her presence and shattered their relationship, and John just couldn't get rid of her. Classic stalker. Yoko got what she wanted. She went after John tenaciously and relentlessly until John was so sick with drugs that he just gave in. Yoko is a vile woman.
She did, and that’s how she wound up leaving Mick Fleetwood for awhile she was with one of the California guys in Fleetwood Mac. George felt responsible for her so he didn’t let her stay in India... Donovan was falling for her and he wrote much of his Hurdy Gurdy Man album there and Jennifer Juniper for her. The Beatles wrote most of the White Album there..
They were(and still are) very close. Recently Jennifer published her autobiography "Jennifer Juniper: A Journey Beyond The Muse" with ofc quite a lot about the time in India.
Ringo looks so bored. Paul too, in some places. The Ganges is supposed to be one of the most poluted rivers in the world now. Wonder if the Maharishis have to take their pupils somewhere else to get purified.
The Rishikesh ashram is at the foothills of the Himalaya mountains and so in the upper reaches of the Ganges river, so the water at that point is still drinkable and clean. What you are thinking about is where the Ganges reaches the Indian plains where it has become very polluted due to the waste dumped into the river.
Rings was bored. It was not thrilling to him as I think he turned his nose up at meditation. John and especially George were the two most fascinated with Indian culture.
After this trip George became an important figure on ISKCON (Hare Krishna Movement) and devoted to Hinduism until his death. The first clips - February 15th, leaving for Rishikesh - are John, George, Patti and Jenny, not Cynthia. The beautiful Jenny is Patti's sister and Donovan's inspiration for Jennifer Juniper.
Is Jenny pretty? Yes, ever so!
Cynthia was there...John knew inside this was the end though, his heart was already with Yoko.
@Elwin38 I don’t think John was very nice to Cynthia from day 1.
& John Yoko loved 🥰 the H
Things were even header at the Theosophical Society at around 1900 in Madras.
I wonder if the Beatles were ever interested in the theosophical society or any of rudolf Steiner work??
Been to india. Highly recommend
Any resort over there?
@@valetyl5673 I wouldn’t recommend a resort. Ur always moving from city to city and a resort in india wouldn’t make sense
did pattie’s sister jenny just go everywhere with her 😂 i always see her!!! lmao
It’s what George wanted
The Don oh ok
She did, and that’s how she wound up leaving Mick Fleetwood for awhile she was with one of the California guys in Fleetwood Mac. George felt responsible for her so he didn’t let her stay in India... Donovan was falling for her and he wrote much of his Hurdy Gurdy Man album there and Jennifer Juniper for her. The Beatles wrote most of the White Album there..
@@rayconnor9006 ah i see, thats interesting
@@ClassicKrusty Also because Ringo knew he wouldn't be able to eat much that was there because of his allergies
Ringo's an uncultured swine that's why
Peace and love man - Ringo
Just a group of kids on Holiday !
After this trip George became an important figure on ISKCON (Hare Krishna Movement) and devoted to Hinduism until his death.
Paul and Ringo still meditating with the same mantra Maharishi gave them up until now.
And all the four members of the beatles become vegetarian.
Thank you beatles for your help bridging the eastern philosophy to the western society.
george, i love you
And this, kids, is how the '60's guru-fad kicked off...
true, and it still goes on today.
@@justahumanbeing.709 that’s right!
Someone get Percy to upmaster & release "Beatles in India" next.
People wanna live in the past because of their idol's
I want to live in the past beacuse that time the world was pretty añd beautiful and peaceful too
Anyone know the song (Indian sitar raga) at the beginning of this film?
I was the student of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi School in Bhopal

MIN 3:25 lennon thinking about Yoko the witch and Cynthia thinking the dream is over
Yoko the witxh lmao😂😂
Yup
i heard ringo left asap ,
Ringo left after 4 weeks. He had a 6 month old baby at home and the spicy Indian food was difficult for him to eat. So he left after a month.
the world's most famous persons of that time in a country where nobody knows them at that time indians only know that they have come from foreign. still so many people don't know who they are and what they are . In 2020 also maybe only 50 to 60 people knows who beatles are in india.
That's Jenny Boyd with her sister Patti Harrison.Beautiful women.
where is the interview when paul says: we thought he was….someone…special…but he wasnt…
Muito legal eles buscarem espiritualidade enfim nesse mundo de artistas o mundo material fala alto
Hey when are you coming to India ❤️
Ringo at least had the sense to leave early. This looks like the most boring, unenlightening trip one could take.
AND he had the foresight to bring along familiar foods. There's such a thing as 'traveler's tummy.' Ringo left India when he ran out of canned beans. He later joked in an interview on Apsel & Co that the Maharishi's program was wonderful and he (Ringo) continued to follow it -- for ten days! LOL
@@HappySunshineDay
Maharishi raped one of Beatles wife and asked for 50% their income 😂..yeah wonderful experience
At age 10 years, I was [from 1967 to 1968], up there in the majestic Himalayas, near Mussoorie, U.P., attending 1 yr. of boarding school.
So, I also was up in the Himalayas c my gurus---the great (Maha) Beatles [fucking unbeknownst to moi!].
Doing all that intense deep meditation---tapping into their well of creativity MORE SO---3 of them, in /after 4 months composed 40 -- 50 songs!!!
Which gave the White Album, and etc.
[I learned TM meditation in my teens, a few years later; and have met Prudence (sister of Mia Farrow) who were all there in Rishikesh c the Beatles.]
Namaste 🙏🏻 pls share your fb ID would love to know more
Across The Universe was composed and recorded BEFORE their India experience? One would think it was a result of it.
I take it you never taken acid
Today's hipsters think they're so cool and original.
George bought the whole thing, John and Pual thought the guy was fake, and Ringo did not like the food.
Fact: Paul and Ringo still endorse TM and Paul still speaks highly of the Maharishi.
Only John thought the guy was fake. Alex Mardas was his gurú then...
The guy was a fake.
ringo was actually allergic to most of the food, hence the beans
@@Harcorwrestler yes, Ringo left in 2 weeks or so because of vegetarian food, though George and Paul didn't quite believe what John believed but still had to tag along John after 3 months stay
Om namah shivay 💞 Jai gana 🌹🌹🥀🥀🌹
population at that time was nearly 45 crore . now 135 crore........................
16:08 that’s John thinking “why did I bring Cynthia I should have brought Yoko instead”
John got disillusioned when he discovered the Maharishi in a hut apparently cavorting with a bunch of girls.
Really??????? Oh…I thought he was nothing but spirit!!!!!!!!! How sad!!!!!!!!!!!
SOLO FALTO MARK CHAPMAN EN EL GRUPO PARA COMPLETAR ESTA OBRA DE FEDERICO FELLINI.......
