I said this a couple episodes back and I will say it again: None of you deserve Haolan. None of you are worthy of her love, loyalty and devotion. Both of them only have selfish reason for their actions and NEITHER OF THEM thinks for one second to make Haolan happy. It's always "I want this, I want that" but none of them cares what Haolan wants! My bby girl deserved to be loved, cherished and be happy. Yes, I am bitter. fight me.
fr, the only one who deserves haolan is xiaochun lol! she was her top confidante and helped and protected haolan and wanted the best for her happiness. the only time xiaochun truly betrayed haolan was when Queen Zhao threatened her family and started killing them. and that's completely understandable

I kind of understand why Zichu did this. Haolan voluntarily married him (well, she even got angry at Zichu for pushing her away), but he doubted that she ever loved him. I think she did, but after seeing what happened to Zhao queen and Zichu taking in concubines, she lost her faith in love. As Zichu didn't know how deeply Zhao queen's incident affected Haolan, he simply thought Haolan was indifference towards him just because of Lu Buwei.
Well, every husband wants to be his wife's deepest love. By using his death, Zichu made Haolan love him again. Quite a scary man.
And irritating.
She should not have got mad because he took in some concubines. She did say soon as he get to QIN to marry.. He did just that, but he married many. Like he said on his dealth bed. LB and King Z played her like a pawn just like his forefathers did with their Queen's An for his country..She been living in Palaces to long not to think it would not happened to her.. I'm not surprised bye him but her I am.

@@beanetricemcdaniel249 She said that before when she didn't loved him yet. That's bullshit. He cheated on her and destroyed her trust on him. She was having a hard time alone with their son and he was having fun with MANY girls taking then as his concubines (He slept with all of them). He always claim that he has many paths to choose and succeed well in his plans but he accepted to fuck many girls bc of his mother pressure, for power. He did all of that without hesitation. He need to take concubines ?! Ok, unfortunately. But he did that without Haolan by his side, without sharing his struggles. He ruined their relationship. I will not touch in the point that Haolan's head works far from their time (she only wants that he take her as his spouse, only her), bc she hates the patriarchal system.
He is not scary, he is only disgusting. That's it.
I’m honestly kind of irritated with Lu Buwei and Zichu. Lu Buwei has been literally guilt tripping Haolan and Zichu for 11+ years about how Haolan was taken from him. I understand he is upset, but it’s in the past and he should move on. Especially since Haolan has made it clear she doesn’t want him. Yet he doesn’t listen to her and doesn’t respect her wishes. Maybe what he feels is love, but I would consider lu buwei similar to princess ya in this way. Wanting someone you can’t have. Then Zichu kind of disappointed me with how he treated Haolan. He was my fav and they were my fav ship. He was good to Haolan, and tried to put her first, but it seems he also wanted power. His plan was a good idea, but he could have tried to let Haolan know or some hint. He caused them to lose precious time together and ruin their relationship because he wanted to be the only one in her heart forever. Furthermore, she proved countless times she loves him, but it appears he still doubts her. She won’t forget him as her beloved, but she also won’t forget how he ruined what little time left together they had, he didn’t trust her enough, doubted her, mistreated her, and more. Yet I still want them to be happy together even if it’s in the afterlife. I love them so much. 🥺
In the real story, she starts having a relationship with Lu Buwei after her husband's death but after sometime he again brings her a new lover Lao Ai.
A D ... I even feel happy with the real story how Li Haolan even not only taking lo Ai as new lover but gave birth 2 children for him.
You know why?
Because that stupid idiot Siluo laughed at Hao lan when that siluo was to be forced to take death punishment for her treason crime . She said that Hao lan will be also like her destiny. Miserable. Because the king will die soon and as a queen , hao lan is not allowed to remarry.
That stupid siluo has only body and look but no calculation at all. She lived without respect and affection from her husband. Her only son also didn’t get even a bit. And as matter of fact, she has to even begged just for a single fraction of attention from the king as she said: the last time I saw you was from far away from yong men palace.
I feel that the king never have a single sex intercourse with siluo after hao lan arrived. And even he did it before hao lan arrived, it must be like by force ( after drunk or once in awhile, just to avoid the suspicion from huwayang and that stupid siluo so the plan to get hao lan back will not be interfered by both those malicious people.
To be honest, I never see such an idiot woman like this siluo. Maybe because she thinks she can be a concubine for a great king. While actually she is only stepping stone for cunning Zichu.
I remember about ki seunyang( empress ki). She start her carrier as tea lady for the emperor. Then become concubine and become the empress and her son become the next king after toghon emperor.
Despite she is a foreigner ( korean and from low call chaste, she Manage it very well. Not only king is in her hands, everybody in the palace are scared to empress ki)
Why?
Because eventhough ki seunyang had started the job as a maid in China but in her native country Korea . her father was a military general for korean empire. She lives like a man as she has to disguise in order to escape her from sex slavery which is common done by China people to their colony country.
Empress ki maybe doesn’t know how to dance, but she is one of the best archer in her father’s command group.
Even compare to Hao lan, ki seunyang is 10 level above her.
Compare to siluo, ki seunyang is like the sky to her.
Siluo’s son even has died in the hand of lo Ai. What a joke...
P.S.: oh ya I personally don’t believe if really hao lan has lo ai as her lover. But I believe as the evidence that hao lan cemetery is beside Zichu’s. Everyone can see it in China.
A D I am aware, but I don’t fully believe that. Especially since women we’re depicted negatively. Maybe it did happen, maybe it didn’t, but if it’s true wouldn’t the writers include that in the later episodes after zichu’s death. So will have to see if it happens or not.

What I hate about people like Zichu is that they would marry anyone and any number of times, then abandon their wives whenever they feel like. Obviously all those women who come from lowly background and just get used as a sextoy that will be soon forgotten, become hungry for power. That's the only way they see to escape their misery, gain some respect or to help their children have a better future.
Even Zichu was birthed by a concubine which is why he had almost no value in his family and was sent to be a prisoner in Zhao state.
Everything used to be such a mess in those days.

Ur zichu really disgust me. He died late. Well, none of them truly deserved her. But at some point I felt that LB was more sensitive towards her (not like he deserves her). He respected Haolan like a woman (bc zichu smashed Haolan's dignity with his bullshit and affairs in the beginning) but was coward rather be loyal and share his struggles. But yaknow none of them truly deserved her.
