    A big thank you to one of you who pointed out my confusion over the Puerto Rican and Cuban flags... 🇵🇷🇨🇺

      That was me. My grandfather was from Puerto Rico. You don't mean any harm by it and they're very similar flags but some people will take great offense to it.

      @@Anonymous-bb8mg I see Ortiz outboxing him from the jump. Ortiz has the height and reach advantage, and so Ruiz will have to close the distance and I see him getting countered when he tries to do that.

    Love your page bro but I gotta disagree on this one. Luis Ortiz does have a great story especially with the medical problems his daughter has and having defect the cuban communism in order to chase a dream to save his daughter and have a better future. As far as him being old and not achieving a world title when he was younger is due to the fact the cuban regime did not allow cuban fighters to turn pro so he had to escape and age caught up. That makes his story great. As far as his power not being up to par with other heavy weights I'd have to disagree. I would bet money he has more power than AJ. He is a great technical southpaw with great countering abilities. If his age doesn't show up Sunday night and he can go all 12 rounds. I have him winning. Tune into my podcast I also gave out a prediction on this fight.

      Hey man, just subscribed to your podcast.
      Ortiz's life story is great and inspiring but it's been fulfilled already... He's a world class fighter who made it. Enough to take care of his daughter. More money won't change or titles won't change that,only recognition.
      But in a "Sporting" Context, George Foreman story was great because of its uniqueness. How many fighters, before or after him, claimed for a heavyweight championship of the world 20 years after losing it and at age 40+ ?

  • @matthowell8985
    @matthowell8985 2 года назад +1

    Far less dangerous opponent 🤔. He's 6'3 he's a southpaw tremendous boxing skills and has footwork like a light heavy. He may be 50 years old for all we know but that doesn't mean he wasn't winning every single round that didn't have a knock-down in it when he fought Wilder.

    • @jiyere
      @jiyere  2 года назад

      Ortiz looks good on paper, aside from his age. Like I said in the video, he's a great counter-puncher with boxing skills, but unlike to Wilder, he doesn't have that eraser that could put you out at ANY given moment of a fight. That's what I meant by "far less dangerous."
      Granted Ortiz outboxed Wilder almost every single round, but in my book, I don't consider Wilder to be the best reference in terms of boxing technique...
