Our family car when I was a kid was a 1987 Mk 2 Fiesta. I learnt to drive in it. Amazing fun, still remember putting it through its paces on the M1. Good motor.

Just watching you drive around gives me such a buzz. Really takes me back to when my mk2 was on the road. Fun fact: we have the same blue interior, I was never a big fan of it back in the day but now can't think of any other place i'd rather be. The way that rear settled is absolutely spot on, think -75 is the way to go. Another good vid mate 👍
Thank you for the comment as per! What a coincidence, when I initially brought the car I didn’t like the blue interior but it’s certainly grown on me. I’m so happy with the height, lots more restoration work now tho!!

Cracking video of the wee mk2 1.1 fiesta , really brings back memories, especially that distinctive and very recognisable exhaust note I had a mk2 XR2 ,,,, you should fit the front XR2 spot lights on er and XR2 rear tailgate spoiler , and an Ashley exhaust system if you can get the hold of one for it or get one made to an Ashley spec or a cherry bomb back box for extra pops lol 😎👍

Great video, my 1st car was a Mk2 1.1 Fiesta finesse, I added a K&N filter and Peco big bore exhaust, sounded awesome as I sped past at 30 mph 😂. I then had two tuned XR2s. I’ve now got a beautiful XR2 on twin 40s that I keep for dry weather. If you fancy a trip to West Sussex you can have a drive for the channel. Keep up the good work.

Wow it’s my first car! Will not literally but I had a Fiesta 950cc popular plus in exactly the same colour. She was a great little motor, i drove her down to Newquay Devon, Manchester, Cardiff for all the raves back in the day. and other mate Lee had a MK2 Xr2, but he had a rich dad who owned his own haulage business so he could afford it as daddy paid and my other mate John had Austin M.G mini metro, white red go faster stripes. Oh man they were days of my 4 speed, manual choke Fiesta😁👍🙏🏼
