In this video we get my good friend Stuarts, Mk2 fiesta ready for the first big show of the year! We start by stripping the front suspension in preparation to fit some coilers that he purchased from Facebook. These coilers weren't the best and were a home made pair to suit a Mk2 fiesta but will do the job until he can afford a proper set! Once they were fitted we installed some lowering springs to the rear and finished off the modifications with a set of capri laser alloy wheels!
The finished outcome looked very retro and Stuart couldn't wipe the smile off his face. I was pleased with the job but advised him that a pan-hard rod was needed to realign the rear axle. Before the following weekend (first show) Stuart had purchased a pan-hard rod and fitted it too, as you can tell from the end clips the fiesta sits nice and straight at the rear end.
This was a really fun mini project to work on and I'm sure there will be more videos to come on his Mk2 fiesta!

I had exactly the same MK2 model as my first car back in 1994. C498 HRL, same colour.
It had a MK1 XR2 rubber boot spoiler, MK2 XR2 steering wheel and a K&N air filter. Great fun car.
Fiesta looks loads better now.

Wow, my first car was a C reg Fiesta ‘finesse’. Mine was silver though but identical inside, surreal 🥰.
C714 KHE … Pepperpots, Rally Giant spotlights, Cherry bomb exhaust 😂, later added XR2 front seats and steering wheel.
That’s brilliant to hear, you probably wouldn’t have thought back then that people still modify them years on! 🤣

When the 1980's Fiesta looks so much better than todays girlfriends / wives / mums or grans Fiesta.

Love it ❤ had a corsa b back when i first started driving lowered it 60mm on the front and 100mm on rear,must say it looked and drove alot better , always have a soft spot for early model fiesta's 🤗

I think those wheel trims are off a Mk1 Sierra. Maybe worth selling them.

I had an '86 Mk2 1.4s back in the day...an absolute hoot to drive, steering and gearchange were highlights.

They are Capri laser wheels. Very very similar but quarter the price 😁 he preferred these wheels, everyone’s got to be different!

I’ve got a mK6 fiesta as I had a mk3 xr2i back in the day and I really like how the mK6 drives, it reminds me of them old times. I want to do some work on the mk 6 to bring up to a much better condition does anyone know a good supplier for parts. I need a replacement front bumper in black. BTW I really enjoy this Chanel.
