I was wondering if you could do Happily Ever After of 1989. It is a cartoon sequel to Snow White and the seven Dwarfs, and even though it’s not Disney, it’s fire. I think it was you who said Rothbart from Swan Princess was soft(and to that I agree) but I assure you! Lord Malice is a breath of fresh air after all the wuss villains Disney has been doing. It’s free on RUclips, so please give it a shot. I feel it’s a fairy tale, that deserves more credit than it’s given
Despite her actions I still believe she didn't kill him, everything she does it's for personal gain, and she gained nothing from her father's death, maybe the ownership for the house and a maid in Cinderella but she already seemed to live just fine in the house and demonstrate at every opportunity that she only put Cinderella trough hell to despise her not cause she need a maid. The only possibility I personally see to her wanting him dead was if he wanted a divorce which would shame her and her daughters, but the story says that she only showed the monster she is AFTER he died, so she didn't have a really great motive for doing so other than evil be evil for evil.
However, Cinderella III is sad because in Cinderella II, Anastasia and Drizella grew as characters and fell in love with the baker twins. In Cinderella III, this earlier grow is now forgotten and retconned as if Cinderella II never existed and instead Anastasia re-grows as a character but now without her sister.
Knowing that Cinderella 2 never led into the TV show Disney wanted, I'm fine with the original animated film and Part 3 being the only films of the series.
I'm not 100% sure if it makes sense but i like to think cinderella II takes place after the third movie. In this alternate timeline where their story kinda restarted, and Anastasia is i guess nicer, it makes more sense for what happens between them in the second movie. i'm sure there are things that might not make sense, but I don't want to believe Cinderella II isn't canon, cause i genuinely like Anastasia and i want her to be happy.

Cinderella II basically follows up with our characters after the original film, especially given the Tremaine's living conditions in that film and the still present tension between both Anastasia and Cinderella at the beginning of the former's story (although it was fairly light compared to how it was like in the og film). Cinderella III, however, starts off seeming like it's set in-between both the first and second film timeline-wise, do to Anastasia still being with her family and still obeying her mother's orders. This changes of course do the paradox of the Fairy Godmother losing her wand, and Lady Tremaine using it to literally turn back time thus changing the timeline. Do to this action, that meant that the ending of the first Cinderella film, as well as all of the events from Cinderella II were erased. That, or this paradox split the Cinderella timeline into two. One where the Fairy Godmother never lost her wand, and one where she did. Regardless of whether or not that's the case, this explains why Cinderella II couldn't have followed after the events of Cinderella III do to fates of both Lady Tremaine and Drizella at the end. A portrait of the two meeting can be seen during the end credits of the third film, meaning that regardless of the timeline change, the two would still eventually meet. Obviously though with the circumstances of how they met being different from how it went in the second film. So our girl still gets her happy ending 😊. Like the King said, everyone deserves a chance for true love. But this is just my take on the whole matter of Cinderella's continuity 😆. There are still options to go with.

Hi Sophia. Its me again, your fellow Brit here that mentioned the Governess lady's title in Cinderlla 2. So of course we know things title related...*flicks hair*. So, Drizella, would probably get a title as either "Lady" or maybe even Princess as a stretch if Anastasia was made Princess based on the British system which are most likely. She could even get titles like Duchess or Countess or Baroness. It's usually at the discretion of the monarch or if the Government recommends someone for the Queen/King to approve. However, what makes it more confusing is that since her mum is "Lady" Tremaine she would probably be able to hold that title in her own right as a hereditary title 🤔 Tbh, the British title system is very confusing especially when we have our House of Lords system in the mix. 😅

I ALSO saw this when I was 9 thinking it was some throwaway sequel but this had me kinda SHOOK like it was my comfort movie for a long while and kinda reinvents Cinderella into a badass girlboss without falling into the strong woman mary sue trope. Probably should've been a proper sequel with a theatrical release but oh well for a straight to video sequel this is TOP NOTCH.

Other then that I always had fun watching this movie. Weird to have action sequences in a Cinderella movie but I'll take it. 😂 Also I don't know how many people might've noticed but in one of the portraits during the end credits, there's a picture of Anastasia and the baker from the second movie so that always made me happy that they're possibly a couple in this universe as well!

In the first movie they tell us how dreams are the wishes of the heart, especially those that we are afraid to voice or that we see as impossible to achieve. In the end, Cinderella sees that her dreams are within reach, the happy life she wanted is right there, so she calls on Bruno to attack Lucifer (that obstacle put ny bad people to stop her) and rush towards her destiny before the duke goes. even at the moment when the Stepmother tries to break her dreams, by literally breaking the glass slipper, Cinderella saves herself by keeping the other one. Everything good happens thanks to the fact that Cinderella believed and dreamed so much that the fairy godmother arrived, being a manifestation of those dreams and desires that she wants to realize. The message is that being kind and good has its rewards, and that the dreams of the heart, when they are pure and you are good, come true. Then, in the sequel, Cinderella has that ending on the horizon, but she encounters a bigger obstacle. Her stepmother and stepsisters are totally willing to ruin her life even more, so they steal her identity, her dreams. The slipper represents her dream come true, and by stealing one and destroying the other, Cinderella feels defeated. But here, with her heart's desires so close, she decides to take charge of the situation in another show of resilience. She goes to the castle, overcomes other small obstacles and confronts the prince, although she arrived late because they already put a spell on him. The mice, proof that Cinderella's kindness got her the best allies, tell her the truth. She now knows that she still has hope, so she continues to act so that her dream is not taken away from her. Cinderella has to become more active in this movie because if not, they will succes on stealing her dreams. Prince Charming saves her, this brings back her previous message. He saves her because he is convinced that the woman he loves is not Anastasia, and he loves Cinderella because she was this beautiful woman, both in face and heart, who enchanted him that night. Then Cinderella manages to break the magic by the force of the love she earned thanks to her kindness. Obviously, at the end we see the second message again, that you have to make your dreams come true, not just dream them, when she is forced to break the carriage and ride towards her happy ending. Once there, what also saves both the prince and her is the kindness they both showed Anastasia in previous interactions, like when cindy asked her if she would be happy, or when he treated her good and kind, even if he was disappointed. That allowed and convinced Anastasia to rebel against the wishes of her mother, inspired by the love between the prince and Cinderella, and by the kindness. So, both messages are important and go together. If you are good and kind like Cinderella, you deserve that your dreams of happiness come true, and they will come true, but of course, you must overcome the obstacles that bad people want to put in your way.

The fact that Prince Charming's VA is also Prince Eric is awesome! Plus Drizella's VA was Minnie Mouse and Anastasia's is Daisy Duck.

So, Drizella, would probably get a title as either "Lady" or maybe even Princess as a stretch if Anastasia was made Princess based on the British system which are most likely. She could even get titles like Duchess or Countess or Baroness. It's usually at the discretion of the monarch or if the Government recommends someone for the Queen/King to approve.
However, what makes it more confusing is that since her mum is "Lady" Tremaine she would probably be able to hold that title in her own right as a hereditary title 🤔
Tbh, the British title system is very confusing especially when we have our House of Lords system in the mix. 😅

I ALSO saw this when I was 9 thinking it was some throwaway sequel but this had me kinda SHOOK like it was my comfort movie for a long while and kinda reinvents Cinderella into a badass girlboss without falling into the strong woman mary sue trope. Probably should've been a proper sequel with a theatrical release but oh well for a straight to video sequel this is TOP NOTCH.

I remember being really confused as to where this takes place whether it's before or after the second movie or if one isn't as canon as the other. Other then that I always had fun watching this movie. Weird to have action sequences in a Cinderella movie but I'll take it. 😂 Also I don't know how many people might've noticed but in one of the portraits during the end credits, there's a picture of Anastasia and the baker from the second movie so that always made me happy that they're possibly a couple in this universe as well!

In the first movie they tell us how dreams are the wishes of the heart, especially those that we are afraid to voice or that we see as impossible to achieve. In the end, Cinderella sees that her dreams are within reach, the happy life she wanted is right there, so she calls on Bruno to attack Lucifer (that obstacle put ny bad people to stop her) and rush towards her destiny before the duke goes. even at the moment when the Stepmother tries to break her dreams, by literally breaking the glass slipper, Cinderella saves herself by keeping the other one. Everything good happens thanks to the fact that Cinderella believed and dreamed so much that the fairy godmother arrived, being a manifestation of those dreams and desires that she wants to realize. The message is that being kind and good has its rewards, and that the dreams of the heart, when they are pure and you are good, come true.
Then, in the sequel, Cinderella has that ending on the horizon, but she encounters a bigger obstacle. Her stepmother and stepsisters are totally willing to ruin her life even more, so they steal her identity, her dreams. The slipper represents her dream come true, and by stealing one and destroying the other, Cinderella feels defeated. But here, with her heart's desires so close, she decides to take charge of the situation in another show of resilience. She goes to the castle, overcomes other small obstacles and confronts the prince, although she arrived late because they already put a spell on him. The mice, proof that Cinderella's kindness got her the best allies, tell her the truth. She now knows that she still has hope, so she continues to act so that her dream is not taken away from her. Cinderella has to become more active in this movie because if not, they will succes on stealing her dreams.
Prince Charming saves her, this brings back her previous message. He saves her because he is convinced that the woman he loves is not Anastasia, and he loves Cinderella because she was this beautiful woman, both in face and heart, who enchanted him that night. Then Cinderella manages to break the magic by the force of the love she earned thanks to her kindness.
Obviously, at the end we see the second message again, that you have to make your dreams come true, not just dream them, when she is forced to break the carriage and ride towards her happy ending. Once there, what also saves both the prince and her is the kindness they both showed Anastasia in previous interactions, like when cindy asked her if she would be happy, or when he treated her good and kind, even if he was disappointed. That allowed and convinced Anastasia to rebel against the wishes of her mother, inspired by the love between the prince and Cinderella, and by the kindness.
So, both messages are important and go together. If you are good and kind like Cinderella, you deserve that your dreams of happiness come true, and they will come true, but of course, you must overcome the obstacles that bad people want to put in your way.
