Hi Peter. Thanks for your questions. No1: Use a impact driver for this job, it will be a lot easier for you, just hold the springleg tight when you start the impact driver, if you dont have one, then yes you need to counter hold the hex nut. Remember to compres the spring enough, but dont be worried, the spring or the top bering will not fly away if you have the compressing tool on it. @@vmaxviking Hi VmaxViking, yesterday was the big 'lowering' day... Didn't go as planned... First i did the front because that was the hardest part, i thought. For starters i couldn't get the strut out of it's place. So i had to loosen the upper steeringarm aswell, then it still wouldn't come off. After a good thought i also lifted the other side of the car to loosen the tension of the torsion bar, eureka, that worked. Got the springs off and new Eibachs on like you showed in the video, reinstalled and the car lowered bij 3cm! Happy me! Then i started on the back. That didn't work: First i loosened the nut, but then i could not get the tension of the bolt to get it out, i used a jack like you did, but nothing worked, the bolt was jammed stuck. Maybe with a hammer i could slammed it out, but then u would ruin the thread + i was afraid i would never get it back in! But then i also saw that my exhaust is in the way to get the whole bolt out, so ik would have to take that of too. All the details are in the description, im pretty sure that the springs for the estate is different, at least on the in the rear... The front is the same.
Hi ,
Can I fit 18x8 et 45 on W205 C200 without any rubbing issues ?
Yes, no problemo, mine is on 19 inc. Im having 20 inc next summer.
What springs are these
All the info on the parts are in the description for you.
How’s the ride quality and comfort on the EIBACH springs compared to the original ones?
The ride is a bit more firm, stabilitet when going fast is better.
Looking at doing this to my c class. Did you notice a ride quality difference after you changed the spring? Thanks
Hey Cole, the car gets a bit more stif, but handling gets better if you have one with standard shocks and springs.
Would this effect adaptive suspension. I have rear air bags in mine.
Hey Gary. In the front it shoud not be a problem.
im planning to buy wheels I dont know what's are better 18 or 19 for c class?
It depends, 18 is standard on my MB, im a bit sad that i did not go for 20 and not 19 now. 20 looks more nice on a lowered car. But i still like my 19. For comfort stay om 18, for looks go 20.
@@vmaxviking i check the price those one you have here cost 3500 euro
@@RamiFragrance That is a lot of money..... Mine in Denmark is around 1700 euro.
@@vmaxviking do you think I find them on eBay ? Because I’m looking for them
@@vmaxviking can you give me the exact name of those wheels so I can looking for them online ?
What its the difference between h&r and eibach?
I think its prety mutch the same...
@@vmaxviking Ok but between them whitch its more confortable?i dont know why but i think h&r are harder than eibach.i have a e220 w213 and i want to lower it.i have amg shock so im not afraid of hard suspension but wanted to know witch its harder...
@@claussmirca2714 Had H&R on a BMW once, but had yellow Koni on it at the same time , so ges its not the right leage, but i dont think there is mutch diffenrece in these 2 makes. in all its just steel. I might be wrong. I got Eibach because i had them on my Peugeot 308, and they were perfect on that car. So on my W205 they are also great.
No more New Videos? Miss them...
They are coming soon... Have done some but it is for my danish channel.
What made you choose eibach over h&r?
Hey Bogart. No special reason. Had my eye on both H&R and springs from Brabus, in the end its just bent iron, had the Brabus springs in my hand and they are just the same. Car gets a bit stiffer with the new springs i install, but i like it that way. Hope it helps you.
Is the car 4 matic.?
No.
Did you need spacers?
Nope. This is a perfekt fit, just upgraded the rear tires to 265/35-19 and still it fits perfekt.
Do 4matic-equipped ones need specific springs or the same ones as RWD ones doing the job?
Have you found out about it? I also need to know if it's ok to put RWD springs on 4matic?
@@Rokas-ie7we I didn’t because i am planning to sell my w205, howewer one guy with 4matic equipped one did that and hadn’t any issues.
@@Zeptofit Thanks for reply, I'll try to do it :)
Thank you
Thank you!

God dag.
Actually that's a great video
Thanks, im doing my Best to have som fun with it. 🙂🙂
good
Det er bare overhovedet ikke nemt 🙄 Hvem fuck i helvede har fundet på at sætte en rustfri bolt igennem en aluminiums bøsning 🤬
Men informativ video 👍🏼
Men dårligt design uanset hvad
@@mathiasbak7971 Godt du fik den ud uden skader. 😀😀

Du fanme nice!
Så siger jeg sku tak🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Tolle video, danke dir von England. Ihr Englisch und Akzent ist bemerkenswert. 😎
Thanks Adam, you dont have to write in german. Im danish.
Ah my bad, assuming you were German. Thanks again tho. Super vid.
@@adamrigby8761 😉😉😉😉. Don't worry. I live 15 min from the German border. Thanks agin. 🙂🙂🙂🙂
How are you finding the ride now they have settled? What was the measurement? Any issues with rubbing, etc?
@@adamrigby8761 Hey Adam, i have just measured the Mercedes, its still 65,5 cm in the front and 66,5 in the rear. There are no rubbing and it rides very nice... I probably should have bought 20 inc wheels and not the 19 inc. Have a nice day Adam.
Гуд джоб 🎉
