I completely agree with you. These so-called influencers create content they don't want their audience to emulate, which begs the question: why post it publicly? They're spreading Western culture in India, influencing 15- to 25-year-olds, and boasting over 2 million followers. If they claim to have no influence, why do people follow them? It's ironic that when you point out their red flags, their immature audience labels you a 'pick me' if you're a girl or a 'misogynist' if you're a man. Social media is problematic because it enables and amplifies individuals like her, who are increasingly prominent.
She doesn't want to influence anyone lmao, she's literally sick of people accusing her of "misleading" the youth when all she does is post reels about travel and stuff. These are the same people who justify Samay Raina's "dark" comedy. I've seen more people call out apoorva than "India's got latent" which clearly attracts a much larger audience. If you ask me, I watch and enjoy both of these and I'm not getting "influenced" by it. Woh bas thode log hai jinko influencers ban ne ka luck mil gaya aur ab unki zindagi aisi hai or they're from a well off family. Hume nhi pata in influencers ki zindagi 10-15 years kaisi hogi, we must always follow our goals and live a life that is fulfilling, people jo instagram pe post karke, get into controversies aur usse views or paisa earn karthe hai I don't think the their life will be fulfilling. You know I recently went to Darjeeling and I try to make vlog but believe me whenever I try to make vlog i couldn't enjoy and as soon as I left to vlog myself then the experience which I gained is unbelievable. Glowkus, this was a very well made video. As a young 17/f myself, I have never been fond of this rebel kid on the internet for the longest time. She has been glorifying nonsensical problematic behavior along with so many more content creators on the internet (both men and women)...the problem about everything is that most people look upto her and hence this can go wrong in so many ways in the future. But honestly as a suggestion coming from me as a debator, I think you can improve more on your content making since some of your arguments which have thrown can be easily overthrown because they are really vague and can taken out of context. I understand your intent for this video and hence I appreciate that you took time to make this video to catter to everyone on the internet and share your insights but because of some pretty immature arguments you can be easily made the bad guy. I would love to elaborate on this further if I am able to spare time later because I need to get back to studying or else I am cooked for the upcoming exams. I can't waste my time being someone's hater or badmouthing them on the internet (I too have to study a lot for the upcoming NEET 💦) but just from seeing some of her videos I can really say she's a... annoying person/red flag, for all sorts of relationships really.. Ungrateful for all the things her parents have given her, badmouthing them on the internet for your internet persona as 'rebel', being ignorant to all the privileges, money, people etc. you got. looking down on her own 'friends' and people as peasant etc. (And it shows like in one video she herself told that either her or her father(?) asked her to not go the first(?) semester of some college he was transferring her to because that collage is like for house-help (kaamwali/gardener/cook etc.) people's children....like seriously?). And then Manipulating your own mom and dad that too to the levels of showing fake tears.. And they also know it that she's just doing drama and throwing a tantrum.... Her personality is like something I would expect from 10-14 year old and then it would really be fine as Children are children but then I see, she's a grown a$$ adult with immature personality becoming a beacon for all of the younger viewers... I don't know why this all rubs me the wrong way. I think she's a decent enough person in real life but also seems like that one annoying or low-key pathetic person who you will just try to avoid even as a friend.

Glowkus, this was a very well made video. As a young 17/f myself, I have never been fond of this rebel kid on the internet for the longest time. She has been glorifying nonsensical problematic behavior along with so many more content creators on the internet (both men and women)...the problem about everything is that most people look upto her and hence this can go wrong in so many ways in the future. But honestly as a suggestion coming from me as a debator, I think you can improve more on your content making since some of your arguments which have thrown can be easily overthrown because they are really vague and can taken out of context. I understand your intent for this video and hence I appreciate that you took time to make this video to catter to everyone on the internet and share your insights but because of some pretty immature arguments you can be easily made the bad guy. I would love to elaborate on this further if I am able to spare time later because I need to get back to studying or else I am cooked for the upcoming exams. I can't waste my time being someone's hater or badmouthing them on the internet (I too have to study a lot for the upcoming NEET 💦) but just from seeing some of her videos I can really say she's a... annoying person/red flag, for all sorts of relationships really.. Ungrateful for all the things her parents have given her, badmouthing them on the internet for your internet persona as 'rebel', being ignorant to all the privileges, money, people etc. you got. looking down on her own 'friends' and people as peasant etc. (And it shows like in one video she herself told that either her or her father(?) asked her to not go the first(?) semester of some college he was transferring her to because that collage is like for house-help (kaamwali/gardener/cook etc.) people's children....like seriously?).
