Georgia wasn't there and I think a couple more. How do I do this?
As a Portuguese woman I just want to say to African American ladies thinking in coming to Portugal that you can find excellent hairdressers and hair products specifically for African hair in all of our bigger cities. And if you move here, you will be welcome :)
@@LadyNikitaShark Thanks so much for this info!😊
@@LadyNikitaShark Thank you so much!!
@@LadyNikitaShark Hi Nikita I’m American ( singer) I wanted to know what would it take to work as a performer ( singer ) over there and would you have any information on what I could do.
Stephanie, you need to interview my daughter. She has been living full-time abroad for the last 5 years (a year after undergrad) with no real plans of living in the U.S. again. She’s lived in China and now lives in Africa as a freelance writer.
Yes, I would love to hear her story!
I would be happy to ask her if Stephanie is interested in interviewing her. She loves sharing her story, especially with other Black women.
That’s great and how old is she
I want to know about her
Im so proud of your daughter I travelled in Europe (through military) when I was in my 20s. Now at 37 I'm ready to start travelling again.
Stephanie, I love your videos! As an old black woman I love seeing you young black women doing it!
Thank you for watching, and thank you for calling me young. 💗
Age is just a number:)
JUST A TIP - Pls change ur perspective, u are young, u aren't 'old' until 70s.
@@xy5393 I used to think that until an 85-year-old woman left me in her dust on the track. Now, I don’t know what “old” is. 😆
@@xy5393 honey, change your perspective!! I'm 71 this year but I dare anyone to guess that. I'm active, pain-free, debt free, stress free. Mostly what frees me is maybe a different perspective.
You are a breath of fresh air! Thank you for showing black women the many safe ways to escape the US!!
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching. 💗
Stephanie THANK YOU and the "Exodus" crew for your detailed information! I am not a black woman; I am a black man but still enjoy y'all's videos and content-it's the most thorough I've come across yet. I'm in software engineering and am blessed to be able to work from anywhere in my current job-as soon as I get vaccinated I think I'm off to Mexico City for a bit. I've worked with people from Georgia in the past and they always had a lot of black friends lol so it's cool to hear that so many of us/black women have had positive experience there.
Yws to going to Mexico City! You already know that the #exodussquad hearts CDMX for real! Happy planning, and thanks so much for watching. 💗
Starsky Hutch let's talk about your tag name!!!! 😁😁💕
@Starsky Hutch - I'm working on becoming a Web Developer myself for this specific reason. I lived in Frankfurt, Germany for 4yrs and LOVED IT!!! It was the first time I didn't feel under the microscope for having black skin and it was marvelous!! Thinking this time I'll head to France or maybe somewhere else.
Thanks for this video! Recently found your channel and ive been binge watching... im only 28 but after being furloughed from my job in Oct I spent 3months in Kenya and loved it... now im back at work but trying to stay out of the US as much as possible lol..
I'm so glad you had the chance to spend 3 months in Kenya! You're definitely going to leave for good now. 😁
You have a beautiful smile! I love the sound of your voice and your vocation re: Black women.
Thank you. 💗
After losing my dog, I am now looking to move overseas. America is ghetto (low-key) and want to experience more. I've seen Portugal on a few vlogs and now truly considering it on my list. Thank you for your advise.
You are such a Godsend. I just looked at my Grandmother's passport from Belize and really desire to visit, perhaps move to Central America. I feel like resigning from my current job, where it is flooded with "Karens" and dip right in, Thanks!
You have such a pretty face.
Stephanie!!! This is the video that started it all for ME!! This summer I traveled to Campeche, Mexico & Lisbon, Portugal!! I took my sons & my nephew. I think I got them bitten by the travel bug🐞I've been home for a week & I'm already planning my next trip. Eventually I hope to move abroad altogether!! Thank you Stephanie & every guest you've had on your channel & all the encouraging black womens' comments!!
Your hair and eyebrows are great 😊.
Thanks Linda. 💗
A few years ago, one of my international beer buddies was having a wedding in Georgia, and I was invited, but just before I bought my ticket, they eloped. Darn it! It looks beautiful, and old world combination of European and a bit Asian like Turkey. The climate seems similar to California. My beer buddy is a white dude from England, but his bestie, both chefs was an African-Brit. They both loved it there, and told me I’d have my pick of men who would be interested. Not fully sure what that would mean, but it’s definitely on my long list of places I’d like to visit.
We've definitely got to get to Georgia Nubianette! 💗
I’m so happy to have discovered your channel I am a fellow RUclipsrs and I mostly on most of my viewers are black women who are into spirituality emotional healing meditation and so on. And I just love your sense of humor and I love seeing other women who are not following their dreams and not letting themselves be limited. So I love your channel and I have heard that Georgia is a fantastic country thank you for addressing it for Black people as we know it can really be different for us so your channel is just doing really amazing work thank you so much.
Yes to following our dreams! Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words. 💗
You are just Awesome. I’m planning my Gap year.
I'm so glad you're taking some time for yourself Sharon! How is planning going?
I love this afro 🥰 🇸🇳
Hello Stephanie! I really enjoyed your video. I am saving up for a year and then traveling to Mauritius on the premium visa. I'm studying how to vlog now as I hope to showcase and educate others about a side of Africa that isn't often seen. Thank you for sharing!
I love your videos! I work for a travel assistance company so as I listen to your video I like that you also point out info about Healthcare. You are spot on !
I recently started the planning/research phase of becoming a digital nomad and your channel is going to be an ESSENTIAL resource. I love your energy and personality. Thank you so much for sharing!
Do you know of any positions that would allow that ?
As usual, SO informative, Stephanie. Thank you for helping me prepare for the next stage of my life abroad. 😊
Great list. Greetings from Barbados. Barbados was actually the first to have a remote workers visa. We call it the Welcome Stamp. Ours started late May / early June 2020. Estonia did theirs a few months after.
Thank you very much for sharing this info. Portugal was on my list. I’m surprised that Bermuda was on the list. I found it to be pricey there due to everything being imported to the island.
Such a great video. The information on this video was very helpful as me and my kids will be transitioning abroad at the end of the summer.
Of all the countries that you mentioned, Portugal was my favorite. South America is a NO...
Being from California, the Algarve is comparable to home.
Price for health care is very good and care I'm told is very good.
Yes, I hear the same. 💗
@TREVELL NAPPER
I personally wouldn't even consider South America , Mexico or Africa PERIOD
@@ChanaElisheva
I sure your right. But not for me.
Nazis killed White people. Not Black. Germany actually had a Black people during World War 2 and were treated much better than Blacks in America.
@@MrAmhara
Yes, all races of people perished under Hitler regime. But I been to Germany and agree, I was treated better there, than the USA. But that was back in the early 90. Today , is crazy especially with the like of Trumpism and REPUBLICAN...The Russian will prevail over the USA. Nikita Khrushchev said it best, that they would defeat the USA and do it without firing a bullet. He is right this country is going to implode from within 🤯😬😥
I’m so glad I found your channel! This is all exactly what I needed. Excuse me while I go binge all your content 😂🙌🏾
Welcome Komaria! 💗
Stephanie, Thanks so much for demonstrating how to work remotely, while living in beautiful places comfortably, anywhere in the world. I needed to see this!
I'm glad it was helpful! 💗
Its sad companies are forcing their employees back to the office. Companies are scared that people being free to move to a cheaper location while making their original income. It would mean that person can save money and build wealth through investments. Companies want to give you barely enough money so you break out even and nothing much to save of invest this way you can keep working for them.
Omg!! So glad to have found u!!! I want Costa Rica, Portugal 🇵🇹 and Georgia. Come on sis!!! I've been needing you.
Thanks for your information. Thanks for sharing about others who do coaching and remote jobs.
The places you list are amazing. Your prices are beyond my personal reach right now.
Thank you for sharing this invaluable information. I believe Bermuda 🇧🇲 is calling my name and I am definitely downloading your work from anywhere toolkit . ¡Muchas Gracias! I have my eye on Mexico as well.
Two wonderful choices! Sounds like it's the beach that's calling you. 😁
@@StephaniePerry ☺️ Yes, I love your #BoycottWinter Slogan. I’m more than okay with leaving the cold of the DC area behind .
This is Gold🙌🏽💫thanks so much Stephanie!
I’m so excited! I’m new here and ready to explore. I’m on that Mauritius 🇲🇺 list ASAP
Thank you for your knowledge!🙏🏽💜
Stephanie, I love your videos. You are always thorough, and you make the process of designing a life abroad seem relatively straightforward by following doable steps. Thank you for your tips and calming demeanor.
I just downloaded the Toolkit. Thanks!
Great! It's full of good info!
Just love you and other Black people getting out there in the world, the masters of our own lives. Fantastic!
Thank you, I have traveled a bite in Asia, but am ready to get out of the USA for some years. Your videos are very helpful.
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching. 💗
@@StephaniePerry I’m in Arizona, so Mexico seems like the place to go. Can you share specifics re housing suggestions, internet, things to do or point me to a previous video if you have already covered this.
This is so refreshing I wish I could give it more than one 👍. Many of us are just ready to live our best life period. ❤
Awesome information!! Stephanie, thanks for all your help.
Thanks so much for this posting! I just started a location independent job 😊. Also can I consider you my cousin from a different dozen. Don't see too many (black) Perry's out here ❤️
Wonderful Cuz! Congratulations on the new job!
This is amazing information. I have a virtual private practice and I am really debating working from Bermuda for awhile. I've downloaded your toolkit. Love your channel💯☺
Take me with youuuu! 💗
I used to live in Bermuda. I miss it everyday. The only thing about Bermuda is that the cost of living is quite high.
I’m SO glad I found you!!!
OMG, this was an amazing video. I’m so ready to leave the USA, and this was so helpful, thanks!!!!!!
I’m so grateful that TMH sent you to me. I’ve been thinking about leaving but had no idea where to start.
I love your videos, and stay blessed always.
I will be 79 in October 2021, and happy I travelled on my own dime, from age 20-73. I was born, educated, and earned all my income from working.. I share most generously with non beggars.
Acapulco and Singapore were the only places I wanted to retire, but the earthquakes and the expensive cost of living were the deal breakers.
There is no reason for people living and dying on the streets. Replace the incomes, when you shut down incomes.
My choice was to work, travel, and help where I could with both hands.
Georgia wasn't on my mind 😁, but I will be researching it. Good info!!!
😁 😁 Thanks for watching!
Wonderful resources, great video!
Thanks for watching! 💗
Maritius was totally unexpected 👀 The more I see Georgia, the more it rises on my list for consideration, even for a short stint. Fantastic list. Thanks, Stephanie!
Mauritius surprised me too Dana! And prepare yourself to fall in love with Georgia. 💗
I was just looking at airbnbs in Georgia. It's a sign lol. Definitely watching the video you recommended next.
YOur hair is beautiful
Thank you!! 💗
I just stumbled across your page! It is great!
@Stephanie Perry - I'm sad I'm only now finding your channel/videos but I AM SO GLAD I FINALLY DID!!! I've lived overseas for 5yrs (4 in Germany and 1 in Korea) and I has ZERO plans to come back to the US. My situation changed and I was left with no choice but I've been trying to leave ever since I got back!! I'm finally ready to start applying for Web Developer jobs and I'm hoping to move back to Europe (Paris) or possibly one of your recommended locations like Costa Rica or Portugal as soon as humanly possible!! Thanks for the content, I'm off to check out the rest of your content!!
I would like to hear more about African countries.
Hi, I am new to your sight.. I would like information about the cheapest to live in. Africa any part
Facts: 57 years old single, no children. Need help with money. Learning about the money, is there a big difference
So
You don’t need her to inform you about Africa go there and exploit for yourself Africa is home.
You might to look into Tanzania i am 59 and the cost of living is very cheap if you follow this guy on youtube call goblack2sfrica you will learn a lot about the different Aftican countries
Videos like these are hit or miss. I just spent a month in South Africa finishing my dissertation and the internet was absolutely fine. The rand is also 15/1 with the dollar so your money will go much farther than some of the countries she mentioned. My sister and I also spent time in China (Beijing and Shanghai) and had no issues (racial, cultural, nor social). I'm not saying her opinion isn't valid but please do your own research. I'd hate for folks to write off places because of one opinion.
Yes to doing the research and gathering the facts for yourself. I was in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban for 2 months in 2016. I have heard that the internet is better in Joburg now, but it was terrible then and very expensive.
I love your content Stephanie your awesome 💯✊🏾💕
Thanks Israe! I appreciate you. 💗
Stephanie, continue to love your videos and I am working diligently as a teacher to transition myself into a digital nomad so I can live abroad again. Would you consider including in your top five list hair care options and accessibility as well?
Georgia really surprised me! I’m open! Can you tell me where I can find your video on creating a landing page? So odd topic... but I need the resources you use. Thanks Stephanie.
Me too Kathy! Yes, that video is here: ruclips.net/video/-vBaPAtKQKc/видео.html
I ❤️LOVE PORTUGAL. A Fabulous Country. The Architecture, The Lifestyle (Outdoor Sporting Activities) Great Beaches, The Culinary Experiences and The People. Portugal Is a Truly Beautiful Country For An Extended Stay. Thank You Stephanie For Information About Mauritius. I Wasn’t Aware. Will Definitely Try It Sometime In The Future. Keep On Thriving!
Hi Stephanie, so much beneficial information in this video. ❤

It’s a pleasure listening to your videos.
I love your channel! Thank you for such great info. I'm retiring this June and ready to go! My goal is to stay each destination for a month.
Wonderful Lisa! Do you know which country you're going to first? 💗
@@StephaniePerry working on it right now lol! Lisbon, Portugal, Panama, Costa Rica, Scotland.
You are so knowledgeable and experienced! This is so helpful. I work as a school psychologist in the U.S. I’ve been thinking about creating my own business to provide remote therapy/coaching and eventually moving out of the U.S.
You been doing this for years and I’m so proud of your success
Good information Thanks

Thanks Stephanie for the continued inspiration.
Thank YOU for watching DeBora. 💗
Happy I found this channel
Welcome!
Extremely informative
Bermuda was a surprise. I wasn't expecting it to be so reasonably priced.
Me neither! They're serious about wanting people to come.
Yes but I’ve heard the actual cost of living there is high that’s probably why the application is so low.
I appreciate the information concerning travel as a Black Woman travelling. Some countries I wanted to travel to, you had information on how we are received!!! Thanks again!!!
Hi Stephanie, your video is a source of hope and happiness! ;-) Thank you!
Love this! Thanks!

Stephanie,
Thank-you for mentioning Mauritius. I would love to live there. Last year I plotted a trip from USA to Spain/Gibraltar to Morocco to Mauirtius.( Covid. has pushed it to a back burner) Site unseen, I dream of living in Mauritius!!

Great information your awesome and I’m definitely ready to branch out of these parts✨
I love this I have dreamed of this❤️I subscribed
I let out an audible "Yess!" (in my empty apartment) when you said Portugal. Portugal has long been on my places to move to even though I've never been. One reason is definitely the health insurance. I'm hoping to take a trip out there next year and if all pans out, move there soon. But I'm also taking a 2nd look at Georgia. I am an outdoorsy type so that definitely appeals to me.
Thank you so much!! 🙏🏾🖤🙂

Oooooh this makes me want to go to Mauritius! Looking up deets NOW!
Yessssss 😉
If given the opportunity to leave the US I’m for it, I have been Binge watching your videos since I found your channel.
Thank You for your beautiful smile and videos, such a learning experience 🙏🏾🥰
Welcome! 💗
this might just be the video I need to take that leap!
Hey Stephanie, another great video, thankyou.
I have a question; I’m a fitness professional, would teaching virtual classes/clients online count as being a remote worker/digital nomad?
Your videos are great. I love them. Very very helpful. Thanks 😊
OMG this was so GREAT! Thank you Stephanie. P.S. You recorded this on your iPhone? I was thinking that I had to shell out big bucks for a camera. You have all the answers. P.S. Mauritius is definitely where I love to go for a few months!!!💜💜
Definitely start with what you have.
This is awesome!!! I didn't think this could be a thing. Super interested now.
It's a THING Nika! 💗
