A sober and healthy Scott Weiland’s vocals is pure heaven.
Unfortunately he was not sober here.
idk about sober, but the vocals were great!
Humm..he sure isn't sober here..not in these days
It’s plausible that he was sober. Often when addicts reach a peak in their addiction, it’s a wake up call and they decide to get sober. This in turn will lead them to be sober for a while, before they forget how bad things got and they give in to their addiction later on. 1996-97 was a bad time for him, so he could have been sober here and then relapsed later. It’s hard to tell because he does look relatively healthy.
Not sober
One of the best bands of the 90's!!
And one of their best songs!
Yes...until i found out what the words meant...and im in My 80s...60s.back then...
nah. One of the best bands of all time. Right up there with any other band you can think of.
The best.
Tiny music in my Opinion is the greatest album of all time. And stp is the greatest band!
Purple
Tiny Music is STP’s best. Sadly overshadowed by Scott’s drug problems. Doesn’t get the recognition it so rightfully deserves.
I disagree but I cannot prove you wrong!
I saw them open for the chili peppers at Irvine Meadows and STP blew them out of the water.
Core was too good for a debut album
I always admired how Scott Weiland was able to change his tone of voice when singing some songs. For example in "Plush" his voice is deeper.
Gosh, they sounded incredible live. Dean's one of my absolute most favorite guitarist ever.
I believe this is Scott post rehab and incarceration. He sounds incredible and Robert, Dean and Eric sound perfect (as usual). Those shows where Scott was at his full powers (like this one) are very, very special shows.
I cried for days when he shook free of this mortal coil. My heart cries for his voice. I miss him every day it seems like. WHYYYY SCOTTTT!!!!
STP, Soundgarden, Green Day, Offspring, Foos, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Chilli peppers, Oasis and so many more to mention. What an incredible decade for music! Thank you for the memories STP!!!
✌🇨🇦 100%..🇨🇦✌
@@jasonross9492 hey fellow 🇨🇦here from TO! Land of lock down corona lies.
Thank you for mentioning all those bands, since I love em all!
@@offsrx absolutely! Loved the 90’s music. Even the one hit wonders were amazing! I was born in ‘62 and don’t remember much musically but caught up to the 60’s in the 70’s and was up on all of it from age 12. My dad was a big music guy so I got all of the stuff before the 60’s too. I guess as far as music goes my entry in to the world was well timed. But ya, 90’s had so much good stuff going on!
Offspring... Seriously!? They're a joke and never deserved a second more than working a drive thru! I met those posers in rl. Trust me.
Bands like Pantera, Nirvana were great. You cannot bring up bubble gum top 40 wanna bes and put them in the same breath as STP.
Scott was a profound poetic genius. 💯🌹
Scott was so charismatic. We have to miss him; there's no other Scott...RIP now, brother :'(
What a fucking incredible show 👏 this would've been to be at live.. I was 21 slaving everyday but had given a chance I would've been there. Love y'all and miss you Scott..God bless 🙏
I wasn't far behind you. In the spring of '97, I was an 18 year old high school dropout working a full time job when all my friends were out living the easy, carefree life.
Yes: May God Bless and Protect Us All! :)
@@dmoore0079 I was 3 years behind you. Using my imagination because school was boring
We have a remaster 4K edition and YT take down all videos, then upload this dvd 480 quality... if they had asked, we would send them the whole video
Dude I was so pissed the whole performance got taken down from your channel, it's one of the only professionally recorded performances from the Tiny Music era and has in my opinion the best live performance of Big Bang Baby
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I vouch for this fella, dude has stellar content !
That's awesome
Don't worry, they took down my crappy VHS copy that I had up here for YEARS promoting this band.
I kno wtf after this I looked to rewatch this performance. and there all takin down. which all these bands claim they have so much in the vaults I'm sure they got better shows recorded from this era we have no clue about.
My Favorite Band of all time!
The guy in your picture could also make an argument for that lol
Mine too 🤘🏼
They don't make rock stars like Scott Weiland anymore.
no one sings like him anymore ...
@@ecisk0562 no one used to sing like him in the first place ...chris Cornell, Scott, layne , chester , Eddie are irreplaceable..
@@humanhuman9228 Truth! My heart aches!
Yah, he truly was one of the last of a dying breed. Scott always reminded me of Bowie and Morrison rolled into one.
AND NEVER WILL!!! PERIOD!!!
Man this is pure art... I love it... This song makes me feel sad but in a good way, it's hard to explain... I just love it...
This is a Beatles song displaced in time.
That’s a compliment and, if I may say so myself, an astute observation. 🤔😁
Interesting observation. I can hear this on the white album. 💙
I was thinking same. In fact, I believe this song was written out of Eleanor Rigby. It makes a perfect sequel.
It's a great song , sounds like Paul Mc Cartney solo work, both in the melody and the color of Scott voice plus Led Zeppelin sound. Really love this song.
My preferred song ...We Miss you always .. your words and Music resist and persist in our life 🧬 forever ♾️ infinity ♾️
Thankfully I've been able to see STP live with all 3 lead singers. Here's hoping I'll get to see them again soon.
you know what,- same here just didn't think of it that way.. Hey what's your thoughts on goutt the new singer????. pretty damn good fit if i do my self
Legit one of my favorite performances by Scott, that falsetto sounded heavenly
They sound absolutely killer here. Classic song, too.
One of my favorite bands forever! Love you, guys!
Sick solo from Dean. STP's Tiny Music is masterpiece.
The guitar sounds so freaking good. Perfect tone.
I was crushed when I heard Scott had passed. I remember where I was.

✌🇨🇦 Sweeeeet performance, awesome stuff, I'm only 45, but everytime I listen to you guys...the memories of the best time of my life come flooding in..thank you.🇨🇦✌
this band is the soundtrack of a part of my life
Miss you so much Scott. Rest easy brother.
The best song! Forever Scott Weiland 🙏
RIP Scott
Man!!! They sounded just like if they were at the studio!!! Amazing musicians
Damn. This track. This performance. What a fuckin moment in time! This might be the hottest Scott ever was.
The more i watch and listen to this the better it gets. What the fuck.
@@blackspring3207 I know. I can't stop. I've always loved this song. But even then I didn't appreciate it like it deserves. Some songs become dated. Time has favored this song. It's better. It's timeless.
Such a sweet song about a rape victim sex type thing was about that too.
What a good looking man w a voice to match
What a voice
Now, THAT is The Finest "LIVE" Performance of any Stone Temple Pilots song, in terms of "Faithfulness to the album", that I've heard, so far!
Scott Weiland sounds Great!
Eric Kretz, Robert and Dean DeLeo are Fine Musicians, and I'd LOVE to be able to rely on them as **My** Band-Mates!!! :)
That solo! Damn!
Scott we miss you man, damn good friend
Rip scott, one of the best voices and the best performer of his generation.
Sometimes you hear a band live and cringe a little because the vocals don’t sound the same as on the record, or the singer’s having a bad night or they’re not able to hit those notes quite like they used to.This happens with a lot of my favourite bands, but whatever, it’s a live show and they don’t have the luxury of saying “I botched that part, let’s do it again until I get it right.” In light of that, lets all take a moment to appreciate just how on point the whole band was in this video, especially Scott’s performance. Dude nailed it.
prolly my favorite song from them. so beatles like... and that dean solo, so musical, not a single note that was not needed
Hey, I remember doing your hair for that SHOW! My Scott Baby!! TracyVW/Hatshepsut/Aphrodite WE TALK TO BIRDS AND DUCKS!
Thats fantastic. Knew Scott since he was 14. Did his hair and most of the bands for years...great guys all. Miss him terribly.
I always loved this song and dug into it some back in the day. But lately it's been just calling me and I've been listening repeatedly and analyzing it. It feels like looking at "Starry Night". Only long after death is the artist's transcendent talent being rightfully appreciated
He changed always in all form of his art in look in vocals in melody versions of his songs and with verses poetries very intensely a man eclectic in his 🎶🎶 music
I miss STP😔
Yeah the real Stone Temple Pilots...not the cover band they call Stone Temple Pilots with some original members...STP was Scott, without Scott, no STP, that's as absurd as the Stones without Mick Jagger, The Who without Pete Townsend and Roger Daltry, or Oasis without Liam Gallagher.
Best rock guitarist and best rock bassist and best rock drummer in one band! What are the odds!?
Awesome makes me cry
Seeing STP live was u like any other bands, Scott's in tight ass leather pants in dog days of OKC Summer, no shirt, police hat, doing his funky dances and jumping on his bullhorn. They sound so good live and really made sure the crowd left having a good time.
Such a incredible song amazing performance too
Miss you Scott
Miss you Scott! Rip! Your music will live forever
Bringing tears to my eyes and sending chills down my spine. Started listening to STP after I heard "Plush" and am still a fan. Make American Rock Great Again!
AWESOME! All the memories of when that album came out! So cool! 😎🎸👍
Back when music was still on Music Television.
Wonderful and beautiful song.
Thank you very much for sharing this fantastic video.
Kind regards from Chile.
👌👌👌
I've always been a huge"Stone Temple Pilots" fan from the first time i heard them. And will Always Be a Big"Stone Temple Pilots" fan, and the New Reincarnation of the Band"ROCKS" Jeff is Absolutely Great. 👍🔥✌
Awesome👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Great song and great performance from my favorite STP album. Almost sounds like a classic 60’s era Kinks number.
Lovely🎙
I really wanted to see STP live well at least theres video's of the concerts
SCOTT WEILAND FOR EVER!!!!
Preciosidad de canción, cosa bien hecha cosa hermosa.
scott looked so cute with long hair
Wasn’t my favorite look for him, but I’d take a healthy ALIVE Scott with any look
