I discovered Mariah through my father (who passed away 11 years ago, he had cancer). And he was a DJ, he knew so much about music and taught me so much. He understood that I loved singing and music at a very young age and encouraged me to go down that path. When I was 9, in 2003, he wanted to know exactly what was my favorite genres of music and decided to play a game with me. He would play different style of music and ask me if I like it or not. The first time I heard Mariah was with When You Believe, the incredible duet with the Legendary Whitney Houston, who I already knew and I was a big fan of hers. When I heard Mariah’s voice, I was mesmerised! I was almost in shocked because as an amateur singer and a fan of big voices, I thought « wait, that woman can do everything with her voice. She can sound soft and the next second strong. She can modulate, she can go extremely low and extremely high with such agility and fluidity. » and he played me a bunch of other Mariah’s songs and I instantly became a fan. Mind you, I wasn’t aware of how she looked. I didn’t know she was that beautiful and that she was a multiracial person, just like me. 2 years later, she released The Emancipation of Mimi and we all know how she was almost overplayed on radio. And then I bought my first DVD, which was this concert and I was shocked again by her beauty, her charisma, her Marilyn Monroesque personality. I have to say, I miss my father a lot nowadays. I was 16 when he passed away. Now I’m 29. I wish he was here with me so we could have all these music conversations. When I went to my very first Mariah’s concert, The Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour in 2016, and Mariah sang When You Believe with Whitney on the big screen, I couldn’t talk anymore. I couldn’t sing. I was crying and crying, shaking and thinking about him through the whole song. Mariah guided me with her music, her amazing lyrics and her angelic voice. Thank you for uploading this show in super high quality. I watched it occasionally with a little tear in my eyes. Thank you very much ❤ And much love to the lambily. We are one big family ❤

All her songs are vocal acrobats and she had no time to rest vocally… to squeeze that much songs into one night concert… that’s enough for many to lost the voice…. I love how her voice had an airyyy sound because of her nodules !! When you study Mariah’s voice it’s amazing !! You could tell she’s been singing a lot doing her tours !! Wow she is definitely the song bird supreme !! So happy to live in a generation of gods chosen voice and Bryan awww seee always there for Mariah carey✨. I’m more amazed how she could switch to such hard hard songs !! The breath control is amazing

Amazing concert from an iconic era. Really love all her outfits during this concert and her voice of cause. Today I feel like Mariah Carey is so underrated. She will always be remembered as a great vocalist and also songwriter, but I don´t know how much of the young generation that knows her and understands how legendary that she is.
