I understand your struggle honey... It's as if they know you have no where to turn and use it to their advantage. Having so many children feels like your going to be a bother any where you go. And having to retrain them to not act as the abuser... Or what they have taught them, it's extremely mentally exhausting. But I think we should not think to much and make the BEST LIFE LEAP FOR US ALL AND JUST GOOO..... AND TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME... I'M SO SCARED, BUT I GET EXTREMELY EXCITED WHEN I THINK ABOUT WHAT IT MAY BE LIKE AND BECOME FOR ME AND MY CHILDREN. ❤ LOVE AND HUGS SENT TO YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN... WE CAN DO THIS❤
I am a single mother of 4 kids been on the waiting list for a year n they took me off the waiting list cause they lost my paper saying I still want to be on the list I resent my application now waiting again I a homeless n been trying to get help
Girl.. I'm with you! I have been on a waiting list since 2019! And I was second on the list to be called a year ago but since I needed a two-bedroom and not a one bedroom they remove my name and put me at the end of the list again 🤦🏼♀️
If you can come to Rochester ny they will help you ASAP and put you and your kids in good Shelter and get you housing, let me know how your doing as of right now

Hello, I am an only child in company of a single mother. My Mom barely has any income due to a sickness she developed last year which still affects her now (mentally and physically) she only work 3 times a day due to this sickness. Since I was little we have been in and out of houses renting rooms, looking for somewhere to live. I am 18, currently a full-time college student. I'm just going to say that most of what exists for single mothers DOESN'T apply to single fathers. From what I understand, that hasn't changed from the late 1980's when I became a single dad because of the sudden death of my wife. Federal help is more universal than state and private. Good luck to anyone doing the single parent thing, though. I know how rough it is.

You can call first step they offer services for domestic violence and may provide shelter or housing mind yoh the shelters are very clean and nice
