    I’ve been looking at it before, but I agree. It’s hard to understand it and not a lot of updated reviews. So glad you reached out to them to show us more :)

    I’ve heard such good things about book-shark. I loved head ring why you picked to use it with your 4th grader! We greatly enjoy learning through literature too. 🙌🏽📚

    Use that core for both your girls! That’s the best part of having them close together!
    I really want to get book shark for my 9 yr old. Not sure if I want to do C or D. His reading isn’t great, so probably C. He’s advanced in science, so I will probably get a higher level of science for him.

      That’s a great idea to get a higher level science, it’s nice they have that option. I haven’t tried their science sounds interesting tho!

    Why did you choose this over the good and the beautiful history?

    • @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool
      @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool  2 года назад

      The good and beautiful history just didn’t work out for us, I have a video actually scheduled next week where I talk about our experience using TGAB history where I go into detail. I think at this time switching to individual history curriculum is best. I also am interested to see how TGAB redos the history as they are no longer producing the current editions.

    Are the books picture books.

    • @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool
      @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool  2 года назад

      No, most are chapter books- this is for ages 8-10, they have lower levels that incorporate more picture books

    • @tuathadesidhe1530

      @@gatheredandgroundedhomeschool... I don't know why they think kids that age don't still want pictures - my nearly 10 year old still wants/needs heaps of lovely artwork and pictures.

    • @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool
      @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool  2 года назад +1

      @@tuathadesidhe1530 there are still books that have images like the encyclopedias and poetry books, but it’s not all picture books if that makes sense. ❤️ My kid enjoy the variety and mix of books offered. I will do a more in depth unboxing so you can see more details of the books.
