I've always been aware of the dichotomy of the (fear-fed) ego-self vs one's (love-led) Inner/Higher Self. So I've never derived my sense of self from my societal/occupational roles or relationship to others. A woman who returned from an NDE said that while she was "on the other side", she was no one's mother/daughter/wife/sister/boss/whatever. "I was just ME", she reported. Well, such has been my conscious experience since childhood, hence my perpetual lightness of being, my freedom. I apply no labels to myself; I have never even called myself a "woman", haha, as I'm aware of the litany of assumptions/beliefs that attend the construction of womanhood. I'm just enjoying this earthly journey in a biologically female vehicle of flesh-and-bone--I take good care of it but never identify with it. My strongest connection/bond has always been to my Inner (true) Self. All roads--paved in whatever manner of experience--lead Home to one's Self. I'm already Home.
I say payers of self love and forgiveness every morning. I was severely abused and shamed by my mother as a child. Since I started saying that I love myself unconditionally I am a kinder, more peaceful person. It’s not about self image, it’s just about love. I meditate daily as well. So loving yourself and being present are not mutually exclusive.
❤ I have found that stepping into "presence" automatically opens up your capacity to fall in love with yourself. The more you entertain that state the more you are "loving yourself".

I absolutely want to experience the journey of truly loving myself, especially since I've spent so much time feeling disconnected and unhappy with who I am. For years, I carried around a sense of self-hatred, and now I realize that it's time to let that go and embrace who I am with kindness and compassion. But I also understand that being present-really living in the moment-is an essential part of self-love. It's about accepting myself as I am right now, without judgment or criticism. Embracing the present, with all its imperfections, is a powerful act of loving myself, too.
When I go into deep presence I am not a name, a body, or any earthly (programmed) identity. I am energy...frequency. SPIRIT...that is my TRUE identity born from love...all it takes is re-aligning with who you truly are because at the foundation of that is LOVE and you cannot help but to love yourself because you KNOW you are of divine source. Also when you lose that egoic programmed self identity you learned from society (subconsciously) and become present with your true identity you enter the quantum field where all time and possibility exist, or in other words you blend with Source, or God and then you tap into the ultimate creative force of the universe and create your reality from a place of unity with God rather than from fear born out of programmed separation from God, which is why most fail at law of attraction work no matter how hard they try, you need to make this shift first. Namaste
I had 2 NDE's and saw that we are all pure unconditional Love. We learn that everything is a transaction, that we have to earn love and there are rewards and punishments. We learn to NOT be ourselves. In the NDE's, there was no "God" of any religion handing out rewards, punishments or judgements. I saw that I agreed to "this life" and the agreement was made out of pure Love. I was asked a question. If words were used, it would have been something like "Can you perceive everything, welcome everything in the same way you are being welcomed and held right now"? I saw that the challenge of this life was to remember who we ALL are and then live from there while embodied in this human experience.
Relatively speaking, I have a soul, mind, ego, and body. Absolutely speaking, let all that shit go. God is I, I am He. This extreme too good to be true Realization is very complex for the mind, contradictory, blasphemy, illogical etc. Take your time and deconstruct the mind, and solve its supposed problems lol. You have a lot of time, cuz this is the Truth, so relax, use your time. When and if God Wills to give you His Greatest gift, that you are Him... You are Him.
@sreeharim9780 basically once I hit that sweet spot of the present moment Where I’m not a name or a body a “no-body” hi super grateful just for the perfection of the living NOW that for a moment or two, and then in my mind, I make the present now as me living my dreams, so I see it hear it feel it taste it..BE it and feel very grateful and hold that several minutes. I have more information and videos and I’d encourage you to check out Dr. Joe Dispenza, if you are not familiar with him. I like how Eckhart Tolle explains going beyond loving and hating yourself. The chatter in my mind can be very negative at times and I can fall into a habit of identifying with it. Eckhart Tolle's teachings have helped me disconnect from that stream of thoughts and have helped reminded me of the importance of the present moment. The advice I always got when I identified with those thoughts was to learn to love myself, but that always felt impossible. Coming to a point beyond identifying with the thoughts...now I can see a way out of this mental construct, the ego identity. When people spoke of self love, I always felt trapped because I felt that I had to get to a point where that was the case for me.

I think there is really good wisdom on self love and dealing with the personal aspect of life in psychology and personal development. There are many enlightened people in the personal development field who have a more sensible message that Eckhart Tolle. We are human and have emotions and processes that are well understood through psychology and personal development. Yes, working with your ego and the self that you are, a challenging but hugely rewarding practice. Learning to relate to others better can be improved through understanding your ego self. Having a broader perspective than just spiritualuality is crucial to being a better person.

I enjoy your talks, and find them so relatable. I have a question/request-would you speak again on how to recover from the grief & loss of your spouse dying unexpectedly at age 56? I’m at 1 year, 2 months, our anniversary looms as does Father’s Day. I’ve been in therapy for a while now, and went through a 6 week Grief Support Group. I had already lost both parents, so I thought I knew grief. But I had no idea of the sheer pain one experiences when they lose their husband/wife of 33 years. It’s not only emotional pain, it’s physical. I’ve been trying to meditate, I get up every day and get ready, mostly because I’m also raising our oldest granddaughter (14 yo) and giving emotional support to my daughter, 30 (aunt to my granddaughter) It’s very hard to make myself create a new path of life. I see now with clear eyes and soul that it is possible to die of a broken heart. Thank you.🙏
I only managed it through meditation. I sit there and let all the pain rise. Mind keeps the suffering alive. Meditation transmutes the pain and brings new insights. I actually felt for the first time that thing I would guess people call grace. There is no separation. Your spouse iis with you. Wishing you all the best of healing xx

Nor will I ever dislike, be condescending, or cruel towards any people in this world who have wished, do wish, or will wish being someone instead of themselves. I'll just pray for them. I'll never be anything but positively uplifting. Furthermore, to all else in this world, I hope you always fully love yourselves. God in Heaven wishes this for us. Thus we deserve it. Just as he also wishes our always unconditionally loving each other through him.
❤To go beyond hating ourselves is needed to get rid of hating, judging, disliking, being angry, feeling insufficient and inferior not others. This requuires recognition and aknowlegment and dettachment and acceptance of all these, which implies connection with inner silence, mindful observation, acceptance, and stop identifying with all these and eliminating them using a variety of methods like ,prayer, mantra repetition, EFT, visualizations, affirmations and meditation and Self-enquiry.
In the quiet spaces of your mind, Where self-doubt may sometimes find, A tender echo, soft and clear, Whispers words you need to hear. Love yourself, oh gentle soul, In the mirror, make it whole. For in your flaws and imperfections, Lie the beauty of your reflections. Embrace the scars that mark your skin, Each a story, where you've been. They tell of battles fought and won, A testament to all you've done. In every laugh, in every tear, In every triumph, in every fear, Find the strength to stand tall, In the embrace of your own call. Cherish the depths within your heart, Where dreams ignite and passions start. For in loving yourself, you'll come to see, The boundless possibility. So dance beneath the starlit sky, With arms outstretched, let your spirit fly. For you are worthy, you are enough, A masterpiece of love's sweet stuff. In the tapestry of life's grand scheme, You're a thread, a radiant beam. So hold yourself with gentle care, And know that love is always there. Love yourself, oh cherished friend, For in that love, you'll find no end. In every breath, in every hue, Love yourself, for you are you.

You Love Yourself..By doing what is Best for yourself! 😊❤
@@annemurphy8074 That is beautiful and similar to my own experiences. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Would I do is kind of a variation on his work, and what I’ve learned through doing heart brain coherence exercises. cheers and happy manifesting
To Love yourself is to be yourself, and not some idea of who you think you should or shouldn't be
Eckhart, sempre transcendental ❤
Thanks that idea about loving myself was always confusing to me
"You are the presence, you are not the form that's a temporary expression of you but you are the underlying presense"
Thank you Eckhart Tolle for this message about how to love myself again.
Wow yet another profound video by eckhart! Thank you!!
Loving yourself is imagined. 💞
Yes! To be free of the obligation to love myself makes it so much easier to feel open towards others!
I’m always amazed at how Elkhart never seems to get or look any older!?❤
He already looked old from the first moment he appeared on camera and became famous. He gets Holywood standard beauty treatments "creamy milk" from Kim Eng.
She may be dry as a table, but he knows well how to milk it. It's the "skimmed milk" and botox treatments.
Lastly, I'm so grateful what you have help me since I met you.
It's nice to met an amazing teacher or friend in my life.
Thank you for your humor and loving way of teaching us Eckhart 💕💜
Lovely video man. Thanks for being there for all the people that watch your videos. 💜💜
You as much as anyone deserve your love & respect.
Eckhart you make me smile when you smirk whilst talking. This is so very pleasant to watch. God bless you. Thank you for your teachings.
Thank you, Eckhart. Peace and love. 🙏
Such a beautiful soul, ❤
How much I admire this man's mind!
Accept any suffering, be still within…. If you’re going through hell, keep going. There’s no problem without a gift in its hand… love arises from living this ✨
Love is ALWAYS giving, give yourself a break…. Be here NOW ✨
He has such a good point that loving yourself isn’t the point. We have to go beyond beyond the self. Someone should send that video to Louise Hay
I love you, Mr. Tolle! 🤗
When you “love yourself”, who is loving who?
For yourself, love everyone. For everyone, be yourself, free of ego.
Thank you Ekhart 🙏❤️
THENK YOU MY LIFE THECHER!!!!🙏🙏🙏
Now I get it and before leaving these I have sent the letter for my protection.
Very insightful thanks. I was thinking recently about how relatively short my dogs lifespan is and he must know he is getting older because he isn’t as sprightly and he struggles a bit more but they accept it completely.
Eckhart, thanks for the reminder.
1:47 learning to love myself more
Eckhart, thank you so much for this video on how to love yourself. I once heard somewhere that a goldfish has a memory/attention span of 10 seconds. Oh how I wish I was a goldfish 🙏🏽❤️🥰
GO BEYOND HATING YOURSELF AND GO BEYOND LOVING YOURSELF
This was incredible! Thank you 🙏
thanks for sharing god bless you and your family 🙏🙏🙏
This is so clear, so wonderful. Exact. Thank you, Eckhart Tolle.
I love this explanation ❤
Very interesting and the idea of an intermediate state sems to me good. Thank you very much for this talk.
No self image😅😅😅! Great! You are presense. No need to be who you are. Just being yourself.
I love how he addressed the male insecurity around losinf the sexual prowess and the pointer to look at your dog.

I Love You Eckhart. ♥️🙏☮️
Live like there’s no tomorrow ❤
So much wisdom
Wonderful Video… thank you Eckhart! One of the most important videos about this topic..
love you Eckart❤❤❤
Thank you and All the best
Thank you.🙏
Sorry for ur loss.Pray for you
I only managed it through meditation. I sit there and let all the pain rise. Mind keeps the suffering alive. Meditation transmutes the pain and brings new insights. I actually felt for the first time that thing I would guess people call grace. There is no separation. Your spouse iis with you.
Wishing you all the best of healing xx
Hypnotherapist may help you.

Most of us are and have a weak sense of self ,i think the things you think or thoughts or a lacking of intelligence compounds it by the lack of verbal self ,and trauma plays a huge part even in the unconscious some trauma is blind to the conscious mind,ie in the informative years.4months to 36months
They just are who they are!!
😮
I fully love myself. I'll forever do so. I've never wished nor will wish being anyone instead of me. Just as he also wishes our always unconditionally loving each other through him.
you are God ...love ....one with everything
Great reminders here!
That waterfall moment certainly took me beyond myself!
Beautiful soul ❤
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you so much eckhart
Gotta love Eckhart 😊🤗❤️
Self reflecting deflecting ..I think as mine as a temple what I allow in for learning all the time.
I firmly believe that animals do have a sense of "Me" or an "I am", and can have emotions associated with this.
They do ! That's why their personalities differ and they even get depressed.

Helpful advice. Being , is it.❤
❤To go beyond hating ourselves is needed to get rid of hating, judging, disliking, being angry, feeling insufficient and inferior not others.
Check: Love myself by Rondé. Great song, great lyrics
Instantly brilliant
In the quiet spaces of your mind,
Where self-doubt may sometimes find,
A tender echo, soft and clear,
Whispers words you need to hear.
Love yourself, oh gentle soul,
In the mirror, make it whole.
For in your flaws and imperfections,
Lie the beauty of your reflections.
Embrace the scars that mark your skin,
Each a story, where you've been.
They tell of battles fought and won,
A testament to all you've done.
In every laugh, in every tear,
In every triumph, in every fear,
Find the strength to stand tall,
In the embrace of your own call.
Cherish the depths within your heart,
Where dreams ignite and passions start.
For in loving yourself, you'll come to see,
The boundless possibility.
So dance beneath the starlit sky,
With arms outstretched, let your spirit fly.
For you are worthy, you are enough,
A masterpiece of love's sweet stuff.
In the tapestry of life's grand scheme,
You're a thread, a radiant beam.
So hold yourself with gentle care,
And know that love is always there.
Love yourself, oh cherished friend,
For in that love, you'll find no end.
In every breath, in every hue,
Love yourself, for you are you.
Wonderfully explained!
