Thats one of the trains bought for the euston commuter services nicked by midland railway when they took over and replaced with old trains from the midlands.
Excellent film, part of our evenings entertainment here. I have been given an offer to run one of my locos there so looking forward to that. We enjoyed a ride there last summer and were impressed. All three stations have their own charm. The canopy over the middle one reminded me of Pwllheli back in the 1970s. Spider Bridge station, with the main lines visible and all the mass of overhead catenery all around, really is an impressive place for a miniature railway. I hope to take pictures of my loco at Crewe at that station. Thanks for the film.
Great vid Henry. What happened to the through line?!! I am old but I recall there being one in the 80’s. The hand sculpture I thought was part of the garden festival but it appears (Googled it) to be from Gateshead garden festival. So I could be wrong twice! Bod looks good much better than the old cafe! Titanic do some lovely ales and so pleased that they are available in bottles outside of Staffordshire!! 🤪 I never knew you could go over that bridge! Always used the subway! Great stuff! 😁👍👊
@@antmerritt Thank you for watching! Not sure when the through lines were removed from Stoke. Bod is great, I'm a regular there and love Titanic Beer! Thank you for the info on the sculpture!

Glad to you enjoyed watching. I do love how this railway has the WCML and the APT as a backdrop. I hope you have fun when you take your loco there.
Crewe is a wonderful place, something for everyone (almost, lol) i've been there on many occasions because I have friends who used to live there
