Good Evening Steve 🙋🏽. I hope you are feeling good today ‼️ me My self am feeling mighty fine. Sitting here chillaxin ‼️👍🏽💯. I'M loving the watch 😍. THE jacket is simply beautiful ❤️ it's New again ‼️
Two things: first - there are no small or unimportant details for Steve in his job; he does everything that will give the customer extra satisfaction. This is a true love for his customers. Second: this man is classy in everything - from his job to his dress code👍👍👍: men shoes should match the belt.
PS, I've watched many a other RUclips channel regarding cobbler work but honestly this is the only channel I've subscribed to, Thanks for your vids (Steve) Bedo's Leatherworks LLC.
Hi Steve!.. I always watch your videos, I really like and learn a lot from your work... Thank you very much, Lauro Elias, I'm subscribed to your channel in Brazil.
Steve, I have been watching your channel for the last 2 months or so having found it by accident. I spend almost every day unwinding watching you work. Your work is nothing less than exceptional. I plan on sending you some shoes for repair to receive the same care you treat all your projects with. Well done. 👏👏
I always knew you were a sound fellow Steve and I thought maybe a kindred spirit and then today you talk about the watch and the shoes and in my head I thought what about the belt to match and then you address that thought. I have always preached about shoes, belt and watch matching....but it's honestly nice to see when something you practice is shared and enjoyed by others. I must also say that the jacket is looking far better than it did originally especially with those leather sleeves and reversed cuffs. Looking forward to part 3.
Hi Steve, that jacket looks great and I'm sure that the customer will be delighted with it!😁as always, much love and respect to you and yours from the UK 😁👍
Nice Job :) I really like the history behind that jacket...the fact that you are restoring it for use again... is just awesome. Keep up the GREAT work! Keep on keeping on
You did great work. I wish you could've gotten a response, they make the projects so much more personal and meaningful. I love it when people really appreciate the work you've done. Good to see hammer time again lately. As far as your hand shaking goes..I come from a family that has familial essential tremors. My mother has had it since her 20s, her father had it as did 2 of her brothers. So far I do not have it, my sister does to a minor degree. I don't mind that your hands shake at all, it makes you seem like family!
Regarding the local cobbler, i sincerely wanted to give him business but when I spoke to him on the phone about resoling my Florsheim imperials and using brass tacks on the sole, he laughingly mentioned that he hadn’t used them in ages. That’s when I realized that I didn’t want to use anyone else. Haven’t sent them in to you yet, but I will.
For finding a local cobbler, how can you find a high quality shop like yours? I’ve got an LV bag that needs some TLC but I don’t want to trust it to just anyone. Tbh, from your videos it’s like getting to know you and getting beyond comfortable with your craftsmanship.
I don't think I paid much attention to Louis Vuitton bags until I started watching your channel, Steve, lol. I almost got a beautiful white and multi color logo Sperdy online, verified for 80. but someone nabbed it half hour before I saw it. But, , but, I bought a vintage 1995 Speedy Autographed version with LV material and light blue autographs. A 5086. bag. I got it for 278. because the lady said she wasn't a bag person and knew nothing about it, authentic number tag and logos. It's in good condition. I'm like OMG!! I'm so excited. My girls want it, but I told my son he could have it as part of his inheritance. Guys love bags, too. He gets it after I go to the purse store in the sky, lol.
Unbelievable skill involved with this reconstruction... The way you did the sleeves is amazing Steveroo...! That jacket is better than the original with now genuine leather sleeves... Love the cuff work too SD...Great looking ...! GG
Hi Steve! I'm watching your videos from Germany and I'm very impressed with your craftsmanship. I got my hands on a similar jacket (we call it college jacket here) but with leather sleeves in a vintage store in Germany. So i wanted to know how to treat the old leather properly to make it feel a bit softer and better again. I'm scared to use random leather cream and destroy it. Thanks for reading and keep making great videos. Sorry if my english isn't up to par.
First two jackets look so awesome. Can’t wail to see the third one. Can we get a price on the jobs, always like to hear the cost. Thanks. Be well, be safe, peace.
can you shine the red leather? add a shiner sealant to the shoes? what would you use? Awesome work, Steve. I want send some shoes so I know you are the master that made them better than new.
Steve, the jacket looks amazing....I'm sure the customer loved it! BTW, sent you an email.....about any local cobblers in my area that you might know from your cobblers group. Thanks bud!
After watching you for years, Steve, I'm not sure I'd trust a cobbler off the street with my babies, the LV, Coach, Henri Bendel. Nope, I'd send them to you.
Steve, what a great series of videos! If I could ask a question? ... how do you handle bobbin thread management so that you do not run out half way down one of those long sleeve stitch lines? I have never seen you checking bobbins on video.
My tailor took in my sleeves a bit too much on my leather jacket. If you undo this will you be able to see really small holes or is it possible to have it just like it was before without notice?
Great work and video, as always.👍 As a leather hobbyist with a sewing machine, I was wondering what size thread did you use to sew the sleeves? Keep up the entertaining and informative videos. Be well.
I found a sign and I have a screen shot of it, somewhere in the middle of Colorado is a Stop Sign that says Stop... Hammer Time..... and I have a png image of the screen shot of a video and how do I post this to you Bedo?
Oh, I LOVE your shoes!! Are you aware of anything like them made for women? I'm bummed by the boots I see here - either super high heels or western boots or boring black.

You rocked out on this jacket! Excellent restoration!
Your attention to detail and precision is annoyingly admirable. You are indeed a goodly craftsman. Keep up the immaculate work
He is an annoyingly gifted artisan.
Take care my friend we missed you and your excellent craftsmanship too!!!❤❤❤
It pinches my brain how you know how to put this stuff back together so good... I'd have the sleeves 40 degrees opposite each other

Even on a non-resole job, Steve still finds an excuse to Hammer Time!

Great job, as usual. Time to oil the sewing machine?
Top notch, as always!!! //Lars
Steeeeeeve! Oh wow you did an amazing job. I loved the trick you did turning the cuffs inside out. Brilliant 👏 love you ❤ #itshammertime

My tailor took in my sleeves a bit too much on my leather jacket. If you undo this will you be able to see really small holes or is it possible to have it just like it was before without notice?
Perhaps you should start doing an intro where you get dressed. All the voyeurs would get to see what you're wearing. Thanks and cheers
Great work and video, as always.👍 As a leather hobbyist with a sewing machine, I was wondering what size thread did you use to sew the sleeves? Keep up the entertaining and informative videos. Be well.
I believe it was 69
did you skive the seams before stitching? It does not look like it to me but I certainly could be mistaken
Leather was soft so no need on this one
