The evo is 80+ lbs less than wec 919 lmp1, still 340+ lbs more than the f1. It’s not built from the ground up either. With the same development budget, power, weight, tires, etc, prototype would be faster.. All things equal prototypes are overall more aero efficient, and can have more downforce with less drag or same drag more downforce. A no rules f1 car would look more like a prototype. Except decrease frontal area by making a narrower windscreen.

OK...here is an INVENTION. Possibly not original, and possibly only allowed In some/few race categories. But someone should be able to get rich. I am watching 2023 Le Mans and can't imagine this design not yielding 6-15 second a lap improvement. Thinking of the chicanes on Mulsanne Straight. The ideas is like the old motocrosser term - 'staying on the pipe'. You just need to superimpose an engine/throttle map that accounts for speed and lateral Gs. Once you end braking and need to start moving faster, you just need a more fool-proof way apply power now (not count one thousand one, one thou..). I will just go with software style logic - engineers do the best they can to implement...but within 4 seconds after braking, and if lateral g's is above xxx--.15 and speed less than 150 kph :: remap a speed/LG progressive pedal so you can start mashing it in a forgivable way...

Porsche: 1160 Hp (Combined)/ 849kg vs Ferrari 1050 hp (combined)/ 795 kg , Also Ferrari (or other F1) has more much drag cause aerodynamics, in this circuit its more favorable to the Porsche cause big straights and high speed corners, in other circuits F1 can win the Porsche but not here . Also this car wouldnt be allowed to be in F1 cause F1 have RULES that's the point of the Porsche, its an unregulated car so stop talking nonsense yourself

poor comparison. This track is easy on the aerodinamics so all cars do pretty well because of low downforce. Do the same test but at Suzuka.
