I like your process of multiple sketches, some people seem to want to combine the whole object into as few sketches as possible making it much more difficult to extrude or edit features because of so many smaller surfaces to project. How would you produce this part? Some of the inside features and fillets would be almost impossible to machine. It could be cast with some inside modifications or 3D printed.

I imagine this indeed would be a delicate multi-step process especially when machining complex tightly toleranced parts.
