i never liked Cynthia that much, but i really enjoyed this scene bc that just shows that she probably is a good person on the inside yk
I didn't like her at first either. Because she was another person who judged Georgia for being a single mom. Assuming the absolute worst of her without getting to know her and ever attempted to *scoop dirt* of her to ruin her reputation out of pettiness.

I really loved that they didn’t just leave Cynthia as the typical anal PTA “Karen” mom that no one likes. They really rounded out her character which is kind of refreshing.

Not really. If he wants to see his son, he should work out a schedule with Georgia. When a kid has parents that aren't together, the parents aren't supposed to have the right to see their kid whenever they want because that often leads to kidnapping and there's nothing the other parent can do because they never had a schedule in a document done by a lawyer. No, I don't think Gil would have kidnapped Austin, but he clearly was trying to screw with Georgia into thinking he will and leave her scared half to death every time he takes him without her knowledge. Someone like that shouldn't have a right to see their kid whenever they want.
@@Chandelier175 Austin was never in any danger with Gil. Gil loves Austin and would never hurt him. That's clear. He wasn't even mad at him for shooting him. If he was ever going to hurt him, that definitely would have been the time. Just because someone abuses their partner, it doesn't mean they'll abuse their child. It doesn't always work that way.
I mean it"s still better not to take that chance anyways because Austin is a young child. You can't blame Georgia for not wanting Gil to be around Austin when she doesn't trust him and has seen him at his worst. Not to mention that he knew of Austin and Ginny being in the house at the time that he was abusing Georgia and that still didn't stop him.@@arrowverselover100
@@arrowverselover100Yaaaa you have zero way to know that for sure. Gil has had very little time alone with Austin, and thus far Austin hasn’t been old enough to truly challenge and trigger Gil’s ego. Besides … no self respecting parent would let their child be around an abuser long enough to find out. It only takes once. What are you supposed to say then? “Sorry kiddo, I had to wait and see if the man that regularly beat me to a pulp would hit you before deciding to keep you away from him”.
Besides, if Georgia had been able to press charges back in the day for physical abuse not only would Gil have gone to jail for that, but no self respecting court would allow him unsupervised access to his son.
