    Did this job on a buddys comfortline 2012 this past weekend along with the headlight replacement. Only grouse - these screws are damn expensive. 30 rs each for the 5x16 self tapper and 50 rs for the m6 bolts.
    had to buy the self tappers but used equivalent 8.8 gr M6 pooja forge hex head bolts with SS washers from my bolt bin.

      Good to hear man. Those screws and bolts are expensive man! Where did you source them from?

    • @gsudarshan7251
      @gsudarshan7251 5 месяцев назад

      @@GaneshBalan the normal japanese type hex head were already available with me. I simply changed all accessible screws. the VW specific ones(N90974701, N90808201 and N10354602) were sourced from boodmo along with some rubber bushes, suspension rubber and brake pads.

      Hi, I’ll definitely try. I don’t have an immediate access to a Taigun so will scout around for a car from a colleague or through friends’ friends. If I get hold of one, will definitely do. 👍🏻

    does the fog lamp need canbus for changing to led lights to makes it works?

    • @GaneshBalan
      @GaneshBalan  Год назад

      Hi VLAD, at least here in India, we don’t have to. High end BCMs can however throw a bulb-out error. Why don’t you try it out?

    • @GaneshBalan

      Just a plain yellow tint. Most accessory shops have this.

    Sir, what’s the procedure to remove the fog light trim from Vento (2022) since they have GTI style bumper. The trim does not have a hole but this tool is provided in the kit.

    • @GaneshBalan
      @GaneshBalan  2 года назад +1

      Navmeet, the trim does have a hole. Please recheck.

  • @ankitk3487

    For new polo there is no pin hole to pull fog light trim. Is there any other way for newer models?

    • @GaneshBalan
      @GaneshBalan  2 года назад +1

      Hi Ankit, the new facelift with the GTI bumpers have a different method. Check this clip:

    Any manual setting for fog lamp leveling?? After bulb replacement?
    Or it does not require any manual setting

    • @GaneshBalan
      @GaneshBalan  Год назад

      Hi Mangesh, there’s a plastic screw behind the fog lamp assembly which permits you to do it but once it is set from the factory, you really don’t have to adjust it anymore.

      Ouch, sorry to hear that man. I hope you didn’t pull it out too fast? Either way, this trim retails for dirt cheap. At least here in India. Where are you located?

    • @GaneshBalan

      Hi Antony. Yes indeed. Have you noticed a small hole in the fog light trim of your Taigun? It can be pulled out to reveal the mounting screws of the fog lamp.

    Sir what bulb did you use here? This is an aftermarket bulb right?

    • @GaneshBalan
      @GaneshBalan  2 года назад

      Hi Navjit, yes this is a Philips H11 55W bulb. The stock ones I believe are 35W bulbs.

    • @ankitk3487
      @ankitk3487 2 года назад

      @@GaneshBalan Is it okay to replace it with 55W or we need special setup. Also, I am assuming bulbs shown in video is diamond vision from Philips.

    • @GaneshBalan
      @GaneshBalan  2 года назад +1

      That’s right. You can upgrade the fog lamp bulbs to 55W without the need of any special harness or relays.

  • @dietzness

    Wait... you're kind of cancelling out your light yield by using a blue hue bulb and a yellow lens filter. If you want yellow light, use a clear bulb here.

    • @GaneshBalan
      @GaneshBalan  7 месяцев назад

      It was just a bulb swap DIY; not meant to drastically improve the throw or the brightness. But I get your point. Thanks.

      Yes but you’ll need a clamp to secure the horn. Ask the service center for it.

      @girishk3433 Alternately you can make one by bending a thick cable using pliers. The type you would use for hanging clothes for drying.
