Another high point. So glad you changed the color of the flooring (good call John :)) Your taste and mine are so different but I really love how you change your rooms. Your house is so simple but functional. I don’t know how you will ever be able to leave if/when you move one day. The couch is fantastic. It is so functional. I would love to have one exactly like it, but my husband’s idea of a perfect couch is brown leather. You are so blessed to have a husband who has similar tastes. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Your channel gives me so much life!! I got inspired by your reno and asked a friend if she would take me window shopping at the Habitat for Humanity Restore this weekend for my birthday. I found beautiful white wood blinds for $15!! I only found one that fit my windows, so I replaced the blinds in my bedroom. It may be one window, but I had so much joy when I woke up this morning and saw the sunlight peek through those blinds. I bought my house in the summer of 2018, right before starting grad school (JD-MBA). Being a single mom living off grad school loans doesn't allow for major home renovations, but I graduate in May 2021 and am working out my plan of action. Thank you for the Canva tip!! What a great idea! I don't have the ability to "see" a decoration idea before it happens. Using Canva will give me the ability to actually see how everything can come together!

For why did I never think to put a bag over my paint tray? 🤦🏾♀️ I was today years old when I discovered this. On a different note, when that vacuum came zooming in I may or may not have jumped.

I keep saying amazing. This is like a secret room in the current basement, which I will be renaming the lower level. Just love how this all came together. The floor looks like slate and the white painted ceiling makes everything look bright and clean. Actually now like the natural paneling. Rug, furniture, lighting and decor choices have made for an inviting space. What a great place to chill...and close to that amazing laundry room too!

Loved everything! Not a wood panel person, but THAT paneling is beautiful wood work, timeless, really. The paint changed it immediately, but when you added that rug and things, two different rooms! Love watching you guys work on these transformation every week and can not wait to see each part of the basement done. I'm rooting for you guys to finish on time. As always, you look so beautiful!
