Bought myself a spot on a lease for next season. Am 34 and never too old to learn. Very excited about this

That’s awesome. I’m in the same boat as you. I used to hunt as a kid but now I am 39 and starting all over trying to figure all this out on my own to get ready to hunt in about 2 weeks

How was the lease? Would you do it again or go public?

@gunsandsilver it was great, I'll never go public again. It's nice to have my own spot and camp too, I renewed for this upcoming season

I'm 45 and I'm going this year. Never deer hunted before. I only hunted ducks and birds in Alaska because I was stationed there.

This video answered none of the questions I had about deer hunting, but at least now I'll never forget that different places have different laws.

@@paparomesoutdoors711 As someone just starting to consider taking up deer hunting as a way to put meat in the deepfreezer in this economy, I want to know about things like upfront costs in terms of gear I would need, time investment like how many hours/days it usually takes to bag an animal, what deer stalking is actually like, how to find hunting buddies, basic stuff like that.

Ima open up here a little, my parents are some of the hardest working people I know but they are undocumented so I was held back from doing a lot of things growing up out of fear of getting caught or just not having the paperwork to begin with, I’ve always wanted to do this and this video helped a lot, god bless brother 🤝

PA does a hunting course online. It is pretty easy and fairly quick HOWEVER I do feel like it is a bare bones crash course. Pick someone’s brain who’s been doing it. Read the digest for the laws and regs. Pass it on. God speed! ;)
