Personally, I built a business, got diagnosed with an incurable disease, traveled to many countries, found true love, lost loved ones, learned to treasure each moment, and much more. Hope you’re doing well !

god damn that third verse is too much, one of my favorite tracks originally.
every day I would listen to that track while walking to work on my phone.
I don't know if anyone knows this, but J dilla and Nujabes share the same birthday of the same year. It's just so profound to me that the most prolific and critically acclaimed producers of either side of the world were born on the same day. Both of them died within a few weeks of their birthday as well (Jay Dee: Feb 10; Nujabes: Feb 26), but four years apart from each other.
Rest in Peace Nujabes and Dilla, you'll be dearly missed.
I'm a few weeks late for this, but happy birthday.

I couldn't handle the third verse. The original third verse in the original Latitude was brilliant...but this. This hits hard. Too fucking hard.

@@Tacos659 12 years later I flew to Japan, made a stop at Disc Union and got the 2020 CD Reissue of Koolmotor as well as the Kommunicator Instrumental CD! I'll always rock Nujabes and Deez.
@@m00tzman I'm honestly very happy to hear that it's going well for you. I think it's really fascinating how you discovered Nujabes and Deez years ago. Just a year ago I discovered them and many more artists who produced music with Nujabes and it's been my main source of music these days.
Man I love Nujabes, but in 2010, he passed away in a car accident, that day I felt like I was struck by a lighting. He isn't gone.... at least for me, he lives in the musical side of my heart. He was, he is and will be my favorite, hip hop producer. Man We respect You. This is the poem that I wrote for you,

I started listening to Nujabes music about a month before he died, and I'm glad I got that chance to enjoy his beautiful music while he was still alive. The other day I looked at my iTunes and my most played song out of about 5000 songs is Latitude Remix with Five Deez. I guess its my tribute in a way. RIP Nujabes!

@brookofwinter All of the late nujabes' work is quite inspiring. You might want to look for the artists he worked with as well: Five Deez, Pase Rock, Substantial, CYNE, Shing02, fat jon, Golden Boy, among many others. All of his work was unique, had a 'flavor', so to speak, that piqued interest and every lyric was worth listening and interpreting. I suggest you listen to songs like "Under the Hood", "Feather", "Think Different", "Lady Brown"... just explore everything around Nujabes.

I think Nujabes got inspiration from the original sample(GiGi Masin - Clouds) to write Mystline. Because it sounds so similar, I agree.
