They never answer the question about NFL being difficult to handicap and it's a very simple answer. The sample size is too small! There are not enough games in the season to get a good handle on what the teams are until at least week 13. By then it's almost pointless, almost because you do have the playoffs.

Maybe do some math on it or punch it into an odds calculator. Either way, we all bet differently and that’s what keeps the markets going. If we’re taking the books money that’s all that matters.
