    • @topgunbass
      @topgunbass Год назад +2

      If he didn't blunder the queen he probably wins on time so there is an advantage to play on your opponent clock. Again if you blunder there is no hope even if you play slow.

    • @topgunbass
      @topgunbass Год назад +1

      @michaelmassaro4375 ya sometimes it's just playing a good mo e and not wasting so much time on some tactic or deep line. Many games people have advantage at the end but no time to finish. To much material and not a clear way to win. Lots of people get flagged

    • @tomhankins5550
      @tomhankins5550 Год назад +1

      Agree, there is a flip side to the argument, and the game was fairly even throughout, just seemed like a waste to squander that time advantage at the end.

    I actually found Qb6 pretty quickly as it defends your pawn, prevents his pawn push, and makes a bit more space for your king. Happy to see the engine like it!
    Furthermore I wanted to thank you for these daily videos. They have been keeping me company whilst washing up and cooking. I've watched you for many years, but this series is the most chill and I'm enjoying watching your games, that are about 500 ELO above me!

    I looooved the video! (as usual:))) but why do you say "him" all the time? you don't know who it is, but using this pronoun all the time makes it look as if only males play chess, and concerning the whole chess-world-sexism situation, maybe it would be better to use "they" instead? as we do everywhere actually. saying that only bcz I'm a huge fan of your channel and I genuinely consider you the best content-maker in this sphere. there's like A LOT of women and nonbinary ppl watching and loving you:)

    Hmmm, while that knight danced all round the board at the beginning your pieces weren't getting developed. At the end, always put a rook behind a passed pawn. If you haven't got a rook then put the queen behind the passed pawn.
