if I had a nickel every time Juliette Binoche played a film simply about people with the addition of wonderful food I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird (and wonderful) that it happened twice.
Story about chef Dodan Bouffant who experienced different foods and cooking and wrote his books. Best part that cracked me up, when they're eating the quails. They really are FANATICS about keeping the AROMA under their nose. 😎🥰
Best film I’ve watched in years tbh. There’s a particular moment involving a pear dish that made me do a double take, for the scene it was setting up immediately after. Romantic, sensual, genius.
oh cause you really think CHEFS wear gloves whey they cook? do you have any idea how many times they rince their hands and clean the surface for another preparation? things 80% of people DON'T DO at home, that is why people get sick.
Good grief, another "critic's choice" that will allow you to get a good nap because nothing happens. The best part of that trailer was the brief sound of meat sizzling. Wahi' Valleys
That's your takeaway from this whole trailer? Petition for them to change it to 'The Taste of animal meat, fruits, veggies, cereals nuts natural and synthetic liquids......and love.'
THE FRENCH WANTING TO RECOVER THEIR PRESTIGE OF KITCHENS, HOWEVER, TODAY THE RESTAURANTS ARE OVERLOADED WITH IMMIGRANT WORKERS, WHO KNOWS IF THEY CAN PROLONG THAT PRESTIGE.
they don't need to recover their prestige, they always kept it. Immigrants who opened up restaurants everywhere on the planet killed that prestige. Tho, certain immigrants HAVE that knowledge of fine cuisine and traditional cuisine. This story is about the french chefs, the first ones that wrote books of their findings.
This movie reminded me to slow down, don't rush, and savor whatever beauty is happening in the moment.
Don't miss this slow, sensual love story. Unforgettable. Bring tissues for the ending.
Went to see this tonight.
Beautiful story threaded through gastronomical delights.

This is actually a compliment: it put me to sleep.
All the cooking noises were so relaxing, and many scenes with no dialogue, made me drowsy.
Watched this movie yesterday, absolutely beautifully made and arouse all your culinary pallets and romance within.
Saw it yesterday, it is a masterpiece

I can't wait to see this. I shall eat a meal first, though. Wonderful story...
A Valentines day movie for sure.
A fine masterpiece.

Animals are not things.
And humans are animals

Only a moron can take this beauty and make it political. Shut up.
