1.Duolingo
2.Drops
3.Lingodeer
4.Memrise
5.Anki
6.TTMIK
7.HelloTalk

Lingodeer was good until they added subscription :(
purplekpopentertainment yep
YES :
Yep
when i downloaded lingodeer it was amazing , i learned fast them i seen the subscription 😔
IKR 😢
giraffe? i thought it was deer.
Hahahaha I think you are right. Looked like a giraffe to me tho
So did I!
am i a joke to you
Lol
Hahaha
Lingodeer was my favourite but they suddenly made it subscription based, and locked lessons (even those that were already complete) :(
Thats very annoying of them! You should try other apps from the video I did, it might suit you more depending on your needs
What a bunch of unloved failed abortions
Oh no I missed my Duolingo lesson...
Welp....is the end of your family...
And that was the last thing he typed.....
run
*Inserts starfire gasp* SHE/HE DID THE NOT
Rest in peace my friend
Me: misses my korean lesson. Duolingo berd: korean or kidnap
*“You have missed your Spanish lesson”*
Great explanations! I’m on a long duolingo streak in Korean and it was super helpful to learn the alphabet and some simple words but it got really hard really fast and I’m trying to find a new one to switch to. I’m thinking I’ll do Drops, I love the design! Great channel, keep it up! 😊
Hey Chris! I am glad that you found this video helpful! I hope you keep an eye out for Teacher Kim's future videos and let me know if there are any topic that you want to learn regardig Korean language/culture!
Drops is one I use and love The design is simple and helpful to recall what is being taught.
App Conversation ONLY called *SecretDays* --If you are in South Korean, invite your Retired Teacher to join. we can practice MORE often. Also you can have English conversation.
Drop is good but it only alow to learn for 5 or 10 min or you have to pay
why I am learning korean
-it’s an amazing language
-not having to read subtitles on a K-pop video
I agree with you! I am using all those apps, and in combination, they work great.
Langlearning with Sandra good to hear that:)
I am learning Korean with drops but you just broke my heart telling me that the way they say things is not the way you guys say it so if possible can you help me with 3 things plz thank you
Btw I am learning for BTS
Which is the right way to write “I like this song”
Option 1: 저는 이노래가좋아요
Option 2: 난 이노래가 좋더라
Option 3: 나는이 노래를 좋아한다
Or none 😂
And for “I eat” which is the write way to write it
저는 먹어요 jeoneun meogeoyo
Or am I wrong
Lastly which is the right way to say knife because I have two different apps of drops and they both give me different answer one says it’s
나이프 naipeu
Or
칼 kai
Plz tell me / help me thank you god bless you
I came here for bts too. To learn korean, hangul to be exact, what app I should use?
Same😊😊
Thank you for this video! I was using DuoLingo, but I also felt like it wasn't very useful for helping me retain the information. I will definitely check out the other apps that you reviewed. Thank you so much! 😊
Christina Makise i'm glad this video was helpful! Please let me know how the other app goes! Fighting!
Idk why they are teaching us how to write Korean....I want to speak Korean first.(on Duolingo)
@@mishalzaidi1725 well.. For me i think you have to learn how to write.. Because you need to take notes to write them
I love how he put pic of INFINITE ❤
Sameeee!!!!!
Thank you! You deserve more subscribers 💕✨🪐
Thank you. I learned a lot, Ba Korean words. I am from Saudi Arabia🇸🇦🇰🇷
I love drops i found out about it like last week and i love it 🥰
LINGO- DEER, haha it made me laugh thinking about the giraffe
Thanks for an awesome review!
Thanks this helped me a lot ❤️
Btw subscribed to your channel ❤️❤️
Heyy just used the HelloTalk app! It was soooo fun you even get to have a chinggu korean!
I'm currently using duolingo, it's fun and the repetition of words helps me memorize the words. I can now read in hangul. But I feel like it's just good for basics. I am still confused with sentence construction. So I might need these other apps. Thanks
Is it have subscription too?
@@Itsnotbadeither it was free when I was using it, it's a great starter app
Uh oh....
*i missed my korean class;((*
Great explanations! Way to go Teacher Kim! 👏👏👏
Thank you Tiffany! Hope it helps your Korean learning:)
I'm a beginner so this was really helpful! Thanks a lot :) I think I'll download TTMIK and maybe another one like memrise.
Do you have any books you'd recommend?
Im glad you found it helpful! For the books, if you like TTMIK, you can use their textbooks, or you can use textbooks from 연세대 or 서강대
Thanks for the video and the decorations 😊😍😊
No problem:)
Thank you! I needed this
I'm glad it is of help;)
When he added the picture of BTS from their Dark and Wild era I wheezed
no they are not BTS .. They are infinite from woolim entertainment..
Mango Languages is pretty good to. My favourites are-
1) Mango Languages
2) Lingodeer
3) Busuu
4) Memrise
5) Drops
6) Duolingo (I don't like this app that! Much, but it's decent.)
I used them all (just to test) and they are all good except for Duolingo. Duolingo is great but the Korean voice is too robotic (I can't pronounce properly) and I kinda learned Korean letters and the way Duolingo pronounced them were wrong and some of them even sounded the same. But good, I guess.
I agree the voice is off
Tell me which one doesn't have subscription?
I think duolingo is fast but I got the hang of it and now it's really easy to see a word and automatically understand it, it just takes time. I just work better when it's fast paced and you have to grind your head to pick it up. But, I'm planning in trying other apps to learn Korean, and Chinese too so thanks for the review. I was just really concerned about the accuracy, I didn't want to do 1000 days and then go to Korea and nobody understanding me for example.
I admire for your inspiration to learn such hard languages such as Korean and Chinese. Yes, use different apps to learn these languages and not only one since different apps will have different benefits you can gain from. Let me know if you find any apps other than the ones I mentioned that you thought it was useful;) And good luck on learning Korean and Chinese
hellotalk is good atfirst but after several days, other koreans wont reply to you anymore :( its hard to find a language exchange partner there
I feel as thats the problem with social networking language learning apps. I guess you just have to find the right person among the crowd
Thanks for the info :)
BTW you just got a new sub ;)
Thanks! Hope my materials are useful:)
K POP FANS, UNITE!!
Infires ARMY YESS😂😂
Kim: personally i love the giraffe!
the deer in LingoDEER: *sobs*
Have you heard good/bad about Rosetta Stone for learning Korean (just wondering as I can get the earlier lessons free through the library)? TIA
I learn Korean language because of IKON😇..especially BOBBY,,,here I come🥳🥳🥳
came here looking for one app and now I have to choose between 5
Thank you brother , thank you so much , I really like it this meris appa , I try 😙😙😚😘
Thank you ever soo much❤😻
very helpful - thanks
👍
Thanks for helping ...I will text you in Korean .. for sure .........after learning ..
I mainly use Memrise for Korean and books. I, for example, am going through vocabulary connected to certain books and will self-study with the books and audio. I do have a life-long subscription to Lingodeer, but have been lazy about using it. I need to work on that. I do wish there were sentences. How useful is Duolingo for someone who is at an intermediate level? Is there useful vocabulary?
Tysm!
Thank you so so much!
your welcome:)
U helped me a lot thanks
I want to learn speaking only.Which one I must choose?
고마워 😊
아니에요:)
oh my gawdd... i read that correct
I'm so shocked when he put infinite picture 😭❤️
I sort of had a problem with Duolingo on Korean.. The speech goes way to fast for me... The speech on Google Translate in Korean is ok though
Duolingo is best I learning koreon language from Duolingo ❤️❤️ it's amazing 💜 you thanks ❤️
I am also learning Korean from Duolingo
Thanks💜
Duolingo explains the grammar on the website, and you can go look at the words you've learned and it will show you your strength on those words
What is the best apps? Give me atleast 2 apps and I'll download it. I want something that has no subscription. Also I want The lessons start simple and follow a building block approach so that you can intuitively sense your improvement and progression with each lesson. And instead of random lists of words and phrases like many other apps.
-I would say the best app is “talk to me in korean”
It has 10 levels which teaches you grammar which starts from the basic to help build your knowledge. It has grammar lessons with pdf and audio where 2 people talk and explain.
Talk to me in korean has a RUclips channel which has a lot of videos to help you even if you don’t wanna pay anything. They also have published a large number of books like “hangeul master” for absolute beginners , then “my first 500 Korean words”, korean verbs guide”, “real life conversations for beginners and intermediate”, “survival korean” etc...
You can find these on their website . If you do not want to pay anything , I found hangeul master , real life conversations for beginners and Korean verbs guide for free in the internet . Check it out :)
TTMIK is one of the best resources in my opinion. Highly recommended.
-Another app for vocabulary to teach you random words as you asked for is called “quizlet”
It’s isn’t a specific app for Korean. It’s just an app for flash cards where you can create your own deck or study other people’s deck. There you can search what you want like “Korean words”or whatever you want. If you search “TTMIK my first 500 Korean words” you will find talk to me in korean’s words that someone created. You can learn that.
-Or there’s an app called “6000 words - learn Korean language”
Which has a lot of words organized according to topics. For accessing all 6000 words , you need subscription but for free there are 1000 words or something like that :)
The app names mentioned are -
talk to me in korean(TTMIK)
Quizlet
6000 words - learn Korean
Other resources(other than apps ) are :
-Howtostudykorean.com
It’s a website that provides a lotttt of notes for beginner and to build up with some vocabulary words each lesson. If you are a reading person , you can use it. It’s really good.
-Learn Korean with go billy Korean - it’s a yt channel which has Lott of videos. Like one of the best explaining channels. You can find a lot of topics. He teaches a lot. He also has published books which you can check out if you want.
Just by using the free version of these resources, you would learn a lot.
Some more RUclips channels :
-Miss Vicky
-Korean unnie
-Conversational Korean
-Professor yoon korean
-Seemile korean
@@subashree7800 thank you so much!! But is ttmk app is free?
@@armyonce142 yess the TTMIK is free :)
I think if you search it , it will appear as”korean lessons”. It has 60 ratings.
If you are in apple device , use this link..
apps.apple.com/in/app/korean-lessons/id1024791122
Don’t forget to search in RUclips :)
@@armyonce142 talk to me in Korean is a RUclips channel. They provide free lessons on their website. You can go to their website and learn those lessons if you wish. The Korean lessons + is not their offcial app. Soo maybe you can directly go to their website and learn
I practiced with drops! 😁
Is it helpful?
Deerah Day yip I uses it🙂
thank you!!!
I am from India.I like Korea and I want to visit Korean and also seuol city at once in my life. For visit Korea ,I should learn Korean language and I think Duolingo is good app .😊😊
Can u please tell me apps for window 10
Does any one have best free options? The only 1 I’ve found that is decent is duolingo, but the pronunciation and structure of learning is not very good in my opinion. Looking for better options.
for apps I use drops ttmk and jr. naver
Talk to me in Korean.
I JUST FINISHED MY DUOLINGO LESSON
You live to see another day
I already know how to read and their alpabets.
but I still don't know the meaning
so I'm looking for that kind of app.
*Speaking about lingodeer:* "I love the giraffe as their logo!" ITS A DEER! lingoDEER!
Just for B T S
Im using memrise but it had subscription to unlock the other lessons😭
I tried Duolingo but I can't get anything in my mind because it don't tell any nursery class basic so I am searching on RUclips
감사합니다.
Is the app "Learn Korean Grammer" good?
And also translate english to korean and i type "Hurry, hurry, hurry" it says in korean"Eoseo eoseo eoseo" but i was watching Blackpink Dairies and hurry hurry hurry means ppali ppali ppali but i translated it at google and it popped up like eoseo eoseo
maybe it’s informal and formal form?
Pali means fasts so it can also use for hurry isn't it?
Lyn Kim yeees
Ya it does happen bcs there are many ways of saying a word " synonyms " that's why
I know that ppali does mean fast so it's either a synonym or formal and informal language
Thanks 💜💜💜💜
Thanks
Teacher Kim , I want to talk and write Korean , can you please suggested me the best app for that ?? Please help :)
If you found any apps for both please reply to me..
@@taeki6963 yah I tried so many apps but my personal favourite is hellotalk app because you can make friends and Everything is even better when you can find support in it . So I think you should start with hellotalk and if you not comfortable with it then you can change there is so many options . Wish you good luck . You can do it (^-^)
Hello teacher Kim. How should I learn Korean as a native Chinese speaker?
Are you Chinese then how are you in RUclips
@@cubestick5303 Do I have to be Chinese to speak Chinese? Are Australians and Americans English???
Are you Chinese or korean I thaught you are Chinese as i hear that RUclips is ban in china so I was shook to see that ( I was just curious to know no offense )
Can you help me laerning korean to camebodai?
Why you stopped uploading videos.
You know what someone visited in in hellotalk but I'm not able to chat with the person because of some payment it is the sadest thing....plzz help me
i kinda like the first app
awesome
Is anyone here who get benefit from this apps???
Hi :) I`ve been using most of these. As for the benefits:
Duolingo - great for vocab revising & strengthen some grammar points, I personally feel like I`ve benefitted a lot from duolingo since it made learning so much fun
LingoDeer - Good for overall learning, but bit expensive :(
Drops - No benefit really. They shove so much vocabulary into your face that you lose motivation haha
HelloTalk - No benefit. No one wants to talk to me TT
TTMIK - It`s a good app and you can definetely benefit alot, but I like their podcasts & books more :)
@@__-ul1lr Thanks for ur answer...
in my opinion duolingo is better for practice if you already know the words
I was learning with Duolingo but after passing all alphabet lessons it was putting me a lot of words that I never studied and I had a lot of mistakes so I lost hearts and to complete only one lesson I need like 10 hearts 🌚help
I needed to watch this cazse of weeverse😆
Weeverse ha translation 😂😂

Annyeoung
I used to learn Korean and only made it to Nationalities. I thought the premium countdown would be how many days until I could learn again and then it stopped and then it said I could go forward so I’m using talk to me in korean now
I liked memrise, but you have to pay for it after the first bit :(
For me the website is completely free. Maybe go to Memrise.com
