Some people think it's unfair to use child support money to secure housing, pay bills, but a reliable vehicle.
Not understanding that children need shelter, food, heat, lights, safe transportation.
Now,if you spend the money on shopping sprees, clubs, partying, things like that, then be angry

I definitely feel its unfair. The child has to have all of that at both homes. 50/50 custody should be a norm financially and time wise. I feel whomever is the most financially stable and willing should have dominant custody to allow the other to become financially secure. A child needs shelter and clothes with both parents. One part shouldn't be responsible for both parents financial well being and the child(when no together).

I totally agree with you. The more people in a house the more you pay in utilities. And it’s not about who makes more money (bc I do) it’s still the responsibility of both parents to make sure their children are feed have clean clothes and not sitting in the dark. If the non custodial parent is not consistent with their visitation or only has every other weekend they should be paying more to help out.

They dnt speak on the absent fathers bc they know there is no real need for them in the home. It’s them knowing they are not needed!

I think it’s extremely sad when a parent purposely does everything to not pay child support. And then when they’re on their death bed or wind up homeless then they want their kids to feel sorry for them.

Exactly….we hear it all the time. I would see many broken down males with a cane, 70+ yo. still complaining about cs, social security garnished due to non-payment of cs. Life could be so much better for all parties involved if the NCP (non custodial parent) went out of their way to do right by their children! At a minimum, pay child support!

This was a great show. I think the single parents needed to hear a lot of this information regarding child support. But, one of the things that I wish she would have covered is that in the state of Texas if you are not legally married to the man. You will need to establish paternity for that child either with a DNA test or the man will have to sign an AOP and acknowledgement of paternity saying he is that babies father and the baby can get SS if something happens to the father. Also, the state of Texas do not go by the name on a birth certificate if you are not legally married. Also, if you have a baby with another man and you are still married, your husband is legally that babies father until a DNA test will exclude him out. But, this was an excellent show.

This should be mandatory globally.too many times men get screwed

    • @Only1QueenOfEverything
      @Only1QueenOfEverything 4 месяца назад +2

@@rochellethundercloud346Men can always ask, request, petition court for paternity. In some states, paternity tests are FREE but if not, you can petition for a waiver in most instances.

    • @wandaguillory9225
      @wandaguillory9225 4 месяца назад

@rochellethundercloud346 A lot of men get screwed one, they do not go to court when they are served, two because they will sign those AOP's when they need to do a DNA test, three pay the child support if you are the father. They think this is about the female it is not, it is about the child or children.

Im like you ladies. Only had one kid. She's 15 now. I'm coparenting, so not doing it alone, and it's still frustrating at times. I'm just not making things harder on myself by having more kids like a lot of people do. Especially these days.

When I mean this vid came right on time! I’ve been crying all morning because I’d like for my child to have tutoring to help with her reading that her school and therapist recommend but the tuition is over $3k a year. I’m already trying my very best and my family has helped me through it all. But her father stopped paying cs when the state decided to increase the pay as he wasn’t even paying $90 a week yet funds his multiple girlfriends and their children’s funds. It’s unfair and I WILL be reaching out to this attorney for guidance.

I'd rather there be no man in the household over a man in the household breeding bad habits into your child. Imo 🤷🏾‍♀️ staying with a man that beats you up everyday just to say your child has a 2 parent household is wild. Your kids are watching and learning how to treat and be treated in relationships so if you wouldn't want your kid being treated like you are being treated then it's time to make a change for the better.

My 8 year olds dad just called her to pretty much ask her if she wants him in her life or not. Stating if she did not, not to call him & vice versa. That everything he has for her he would be giving it to his other daughter as if they couldn’t share both being girls. He talked to her like if she was an adult cursing & applying pressure on her. I couldn’t believe it. He said he had other things to worry about and problems of his own than to be trying to have a relationship with her.

Good Kita.❤❤ Yes you can sue your baby daddy. Took the sperm donor of my only child to court after retaining counsel. Court gave me full custody and he relinquished custody. I’m in Cali guideline support is steep. I’m a law student ❤ children remember the parent that’s there consistently. The fathers that abandon their children can’t talk. Unpaid child support can be garnished from workers comp checks, disability and unemployment checks too. Child care and raising a child cost money.

When should you use the baby daddy
The instant he decides he is not going to be responsible for the child he created by shooting up your club.
Same with the baby momma,if she doesn't have custody.
Y'all made the choice to create life, y'all damn well gonna do right.that child did not ask to be conceived or born.that was y'all choice

I love my parents having 50/50 after the divorce. I could not imagine 1 of my parents having more or a say so over the other. They didnt often agree and had to have many sit downs.
I feel if one parent wants private school they should cover it in full because thats what they want and not necessary.
When telling a parent your opinion doesnt matter they began to feel unimportant in the mix.

I've been planning to move out of state before we've met and solidified our relationship, and eventually became parents.
Now that we're parents, I have to stay in the same state (per his request), to make it easier for his visitations, which he doesn't even commit to, take seriously, or be consistent with.
He uses his visitations as a fall back to his lifestyle when things don't go his way in his personal life...
    I despise the pop-ups!🤬
However, when I set boundaries and deny the random pop-up visits, he claims I'm crazy and doesn't allow him to see his children. 🙄
Single parenting for moms (or any willing parent/caregiver) is so unreasonable and the family court isn't favorable at least in NJ.
I thought family court would hold him accountable (as they've done with me),since they preached so much about the need for both healthy parents in a child's life...they didn't!!!
He got away with so much and dare I say he was encouraged to not change at all, by the judge validating his request overlooking his claims and didn't fact check.🥺
We have an autistic 9yr old son and a 7yr old daughter...
It's literally just me, and I'm doing the best I can with what I have and it does not come with ease, but we pray every single day, morning and night!
Everything has to be balanced. We will be alright, by the grace! To God be the glory, in Jesus name, Amen!🙏🏾💜

I want to know what should be done if you do allow and plan for your kid to go with their father but then the kid doesn’t want to go when the father shows up to get him. And he becomes distant, won’t look at his father, and almost screams at the top of his lungs crying when he thinks he has to go with his father? Child is 5. Dad is inconsistent disappearing for mouths at a time. Doesn’t call to check on child. And then randomly pops up try and then back to disappearing.

I think you may be getting it confused with some of the sarcastic and comedic things she says and that’s okay. Lol. Kita has a son from a previous relationship/marriage as mentioned in the video.
Her son is around 9-10 years old but that is her only child. However, she does have a man or did the last time I checked so he would be considered the step father but it’s unknown to me if he has a child himself so if he does in that case she is step mom to his child.
