Another great video, keep it up!
Been great to get an idea of the space and what it’s like to live in a 5th wheel
Hi, thanks for the message. We’re loving life in our fifth wheel. So much more space so it’s ideal for us.
Wow, thats an inpressive vehicle. I like the bigger bedroom amd bathrooms. ❤
See AG1 Greens .Another great thing to demonstrate .See Jo Good (she is still working for BBC radio )and paws in the park with Anna. She has used it for some years now abs swears by it and Go Fresh !
A great tour thanks... very comprehensive..... loved the explanations.... very good... need to work put the solar.... we went down a portable system route so we can move it to another van if we decide to change....❤
I’m looking to add a portable one soon as well to give a little more boost and more directional solar gathering. If or when we decide to change out our Nelly I’ll probably remove the extras I’ve added and take with us and refit into a new home. 😊👍
I had to laugh at the treat cupboard - we use the same one for our snacks!
Haha seems it must be the obvious cupboard to choose 😂😂
We enjoy your videos and new subscribers here!! Happy travels❤Zack & Linda
Hi Zack and Linda
Thank you so much for subscribing, we are so happy you enjoy our videos, thank you very much for saying so and leaving us a comment, we love people leaving us comments, it makes it all worthwhile 😊 we upload a new video every week now.
Take care ❤️
Thank you so much for this, a really great tour and not jealous at all! As for going off grid in this country, a motorhome is allowed to park up at the side of the road but a caravan is not but I don't know what a 5th wheel is classed as. Our first off grid experience was a pub stop just in case anything went wrong, it was incredibly stressful but we survived. Second off grid was at Holyhead at the side of the road which was even more nerve racking but the view in the morning was worth it. Go for it, you will live and love it!!
Hi guys
Thank you so much for watching our videos. In respect of going off grid in UK, we have parked up a couple of times but so far have used motorway services as we were just taking trips then, now we are full time we will be looking for places to use. To be honest it’s a funny one as we are not like a normal style caravan in the sense that we are completely self sufficient like a motorhome, maybe more so than a lot, but look like a normal caravan. I would say similar rules would apply as MH really, if we can fit then what’s the issue I say 😊 as long as we stay hitched up and don’t appear to be camping. Hope this makes sense.
Take care and maybe see you out and about one day.
We are at the motorhome show at the NEC this week on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. 😊
Thanq for the video
Great tour, nice home on wheels.
Stay safe on your travels.
Hi
Thank you so much for the lovely words of encouragement, it means a lot that viewers are enjoying our content. Take care.
Looks a fantastic rig, quick question how do you empty your black tanks as the UK campsites chemical waste points are quite high or do you find sites Which have empty places if you have a black tank?
Hi
There are many ways to empty the tanks, connect the hose directly and straight down the sewer drains, or use a macerator connected to a hose pipe and down the drains or into elsan point, use a tote to transport it. It really isn’t difficult, we’ve been on a few sites now and I’ve not struggled to empty the tanks yet. I’ll do a more in depth show and tell in a future video. Hopefully that will help others like yourself that are curious how we manage.
firstly great vid 😀, I've liked and subscribed cause am looking forward to seeing how life pans out for you both, not much uk 5ver content on utube! My wife and I visited ccrv earlier in the year with a view to purchasing a similar rockwood around spring 24 for semi full time use (3 month on 3 months off) thought Paul was great, how did you find the buying process and did you consider any other co's? Also did cu
Ccrv do your upgrades? Cheers Craig from somerset

Hi we are getting a fifth wheel from Paul and a ranger, so soon to be part of the CCRV family lol.
Been following you for a while can I ask where you got your tripod stabiliser from?
Thanks. 🙏🏼
Hi Becky
That’s great news, I’m sure you’re going to love your new purchase, and thank you so much for following our adventure.
We bought the tripod from RV Spares, they have an eBay shop and are very good, they sell a huge amount for RV’s and fifth wheels, we’ve bought a number of things from there, fast delivery too.
@@thebebbsbeat aww thanks guys that’s so helpful. Blessings ❤️
You’re more than welcome, anytime.
Hey, nice video, we have just put a deposit down on a New Rockwood 2622RK from CCRV, any tips etc? 🙂
Hi thank you very much. Congratulations, they’re a lovely unit, we love ours.
We e have a few videos of different upgrades and little things we’ve added, if there’s anything you’ve seen we have shown and want to know more I’ll be happy to share.
Lithium batteries and more solar was a must for us.
The waste tote and Rhino waste hoses and macerator have been a god send for the various types of waste options on sites.
We also changed the TV out for a uk smart tv as the one fitted is a bit rubbish, usable but not good enough for us lol.
I guess a lot depends on how you plan to use the fiver, e.g. 2 weeks holiday a year or multiple long stay holidays.
One thing which I would say is a must is a water pressure reducer for the “city” water connection as some sites have strong pressure and can cause damage to your internal pipes.
I hope this helps
Scott & Di.
p.s. happy travels. ❤️
@@thebebbsbeat hey that’s brilliant & thanks for the info, we are campsite wardens & our managers have one & we loved it, plus we have 2 dogs soo the extra room will be brilliant 😊
@@thebebbsbeat Hi how do you go abput choosing sites in the UK? Do you use private or club sites?
Hi
We use a mixture of sites to be honest, we are in the 2 main clubs, also a couple of RV clubs on Facebook which have regular meets/rallies etc.
we also use Google to scope out the route to check access, this is important as you don’t want to be getting stuck down tiny lanes, also a lot of low bridges can be a problem too so a good HGV satnav or the HGV atlas is a must.
We also use park 4 night, camper contact and search for sites as well.
Hi where did you get your kingpin tripod please? Thanks
Hi
I believe we got it from RV Spares on eBay. 👍😊
Also just subscribed to your new channel, hope you have as much fun as we do.
Thank you so much I’ll have a look.
Aww bless you, thank you so much 🙏🏼🥰.
I heard about you from Paul and Avril. ❤
Been out in ours twice.
Looking at washing lines and storage now.
@@RoamingwithBeckyDuncanLady
I can’t remember what site we got it off but we bought the washing machine and line at the same time. 😊👍
That’s our next buy too. Last site we stayed at the machine couldn’t even spin 🫣 Time for our own.
i’m at a campsite where your at because i’ve just seen you
Ahh that’s awesome, so you saw us trying to squeeze into this corner where the warden decided was best pitch for us lol 🤦♂️😂😂
Pop round and say hi anytime, doors always open… unless we’re not here of course 😊😉
Hi, very interested in your solar conversion, was this a ccrv fitted kit or have you done ir yourself Scott 😮
Hi Christopher
We had CCRV do a basic conversion originally but quickly decided we needed a much better setup, the setup we had before would allow us to watch the TV on the inverter and possibly another item plugged in, however we need more items at once so meant bigger inverter and more battery power. When we bought the camper it came with 2 x 85ah lead acid which really meant 85ah usable which is ok for running lights etc but no use to us at all, as we have computers to run for video editing etc we just needed a bit more.
So we decided to install the Victron Multiplus, 100/60 mppt and dc-dc charging and 2 x 230ah fogstar drift lifepo batteries plus extra solar so we now have 600w. We will see how well this works and maybe add more solar and another battery in the future.
We had the work done by a local company in Plymouth that did the whole install, I bought the batteries myself as I can buy them wholesale. If you have anymore questions for me please ask away.
@@thebebbsbeatJust a quick question.. Did you keep the 120v microwave and if so, how was that catered for in your Lithium set up? Thanks
Hi Andy
Yes the microwave is still the USA version, same as the fridge.
They still work in the same way, CCRV did the conversion originally, from what I can tell they fit a 240/120V transformer to cater for the 120V distribution panel.
So we have the Victron Multiplus wired into the 240V supply side so haven’t touched the CCRV conversion that is still the same set up, so I think the 240 supply to the transformer is from the 240v board then into the 120v board.
So if we are off grid and want full power then the Victron Multiplus does it all, it converts the 12v into 240v to run the whole system, which in turn supplies the 240/120v transformer.
I hope that makes sense.
@@thebebbsbeat thanks Scott.. we weren’t sure how that part of the electrical system would have been sorted but now it makes perfect sense….
To be honest in my experience and knowledge that would be the only way they could do it, electrician and designer by trade 😊👍
Are you happy with your washing line?
Hi
Yes it’s brilliant, especially for the money, it was about £35 I think, very easy to put up and away again, just peg it down and holds it great.
Fabulous. Thank you. Can you remember where you got it?
Do you have a link for the X-chocks please? I bought a set but they do not fit between the tyres! - thankfully they were a bonus add on item for just £3.50 😬
Hi Micheal
We bought these from Amazon, they are a snug fit but they do the job nicely.

@@thebebbsbeat Thanks, see you on the road sometime 😁!
@@thebebbsbeat Thanks, ordered but wow £38 postage, thankfully I won an Amazon voucher for £120 recently 😉😁
Yes the postage is expensive, from the states but at least you won’t have the tax to pay 👍😊
Hope so, where are you now? We’re in Stratford for this month.
There's only one thing to say about Nelly - She's a reeeaaal bute!
Cheers bute, you’re not wrong there mate 👍😊
