I know it's Showtime but this reminds me of the 90's when I never missed a Tuesday or Friday Night Fights on USA network with my Dad. Miss you Pops, R.I.P.
Liles was so underappreciated. He was one of the best all-around fighters of the 90's. He also never grandstanded or got into any trouble outside the ring. He was a good role-model as well as fighter.

I liked Frankie Lyles, but had to pull for my fellow Alabamian in this fight.
Thanks for uploading this. I love watching the old Showtime Championship Boxing broadcasts from the 90s.
I remember training in the same gym with him when I was younger.
That is Antonio Tarver standing their with Byron. Tarver fought Rocky in the Rocky movie
Byron my high school homeboy!! KRAZO in the house!
Thanks for upload man, appreciate it :)
You got my sub
what hapen to byron the guy was a beast
Hell yeah he was that guy
Jaw got bad
His son jr can box to
Frankie should have fought Roy Jones
Liles was shot here!
Funny how Fighters are always shot when somebody beats them.. wasn't that shot mate he was the WBA champion
He was inactive
His inactivity was an issue, plus coming off A long layoff and fighting someone strong like Byron Mitchell, didnt bode too well for him at this point
