Let me tell you, I literally heard this mans' song (Somethin About Ya) on the radio last week (Aug 4, 2021) as I was at work doing my usual work run, and I lie to you not I thought it was Beyonce and then I had to listen harder and deduced ok it's not Beyonce but it must be some new FEMALE artist. At which point I'm now driving Shazaming who in the world this is!
At this point, I see her album cover and I'm like ok this female artist must have some male model posing as her album cover, dope concept I guess!
I then realize her name is J.Howell and that the album debuted in 2019!
At this point I'm a roller coaster of emotions, LOST, CONFUSED, ENRAGED because now I'm like ok why in the world does she only have one album out and why isn't her music played more?! Lastly, I felt slighted because, YET AGAIN, "I'm always the new fan"! Lol
I then hit up google to legit put a face to a name and realize he's a GUY and looks like my gf's cousin. So now I'm hitting her up like why didn't you tell me your cousin is a whole artist - to which she was like no that's not him! Lol
I get home the same day and am just blasting the entire album on repeat, while messaging all my friends like listen to this song, have you heard it? Who is he? Lol
Enclosing, HE is a beautiful soul with an amazing voice, and he who listens will be undoubtedly be liberated!
