Just a clarification. Tagalog, Bisaya and Ilocano are not dialects. They're languages because they are spoken over a wide area of the country. Ako ay Pilipino too and if I am not wrong, I think Bisayan was spoken by more individuals when they declared Tagalog the official language back in the day, and now that is why Tagalog has become prominent.
