Still, even if he isn't living in the Philippines, he is still proud by flaunting the dialects he could speak back home. Most Filipinos who live in America now would barely speak their native dialects. I think he wants to remind all Filipinos to always remain Filipinos by heart. Be proud of our roots. That is all.
Just a clarification. Tagalog, Bisaya and Ilocano are not dialects. They're languages because they are spoken over a wide area of the country. They're actually 3 of the 8 major languages spoken in the Philippines. A dialect is spoken only in one area. Like let's say Chavacano, which is spoken only in Zamboanga. :)

Bisayan and Ilocano are their own distinct languages. They are at least as different if not more than say Spanish vs Italian, and we think of them as separate languages. So we should also see how these are their own languages too. I've studied a bit of language history haha. Very interesting. Mabuhay! Ako ay Pilipino too and if I am not wrong, I think Bisayan was spoken by more individuals when they declared Tagalog the official language back in the day, and now that is why Tagalog has become prominent. Either way, let's just be happy to be represented! WOO!
