    you know your a good guy when you dont realise youve already left a mark, you inspire us and excite us, almost every session you do I'm taken back to that first perch I caught in my £1 net down the canal such is your passion for angling

    What an absolute star Alan is. As soon as something lights his fire, you can hear the passion pour out of him :) If Alan is to be the future of fishing, then it's a bright future indeed.

    Great interview, a young man, that has an awful lot of passion that the young people in Angling can aspire too.

    In my humble opinion this is probably the best angler interview I have seen. Alan really surprised me with his thoughts, especially his views on education! Young people take note of his words they are solid, sound advice. Hussain, I hope I spelt that right, was a great interviewer. I hope that is the right word Alan! I think the most important bit, was Alan’s emphasis on working hard to achieve what you want from life, not looking to make loads of money quickly! Bill

    Great video and Alan is a Great angler who has an addictive personality and enthusiasm for the sport he is very good at marketing for the younger anglers and Nash is definitely moving in the right direction with the scopes and new tackle but they need to put some more time and attention into there after sales customer services they are lacking in this department in my opinion.

    Totally get where he’s coming from,I got into carp fishing quite late I was always fishing for roach,rudd perch etc,then one day I hooked a carp and that set me on my journey. I ended up joining a syndicate water and totally took the place apart! I had the lake record within a month and the most fish landed in a 24hr session. I’ve now got guys that have been fishing for absolute years coming up to me and asking for pointers! Every time I now show up at a new water the whispers start! Haha I’m getting quite a name for myself and doing really well. Even getting asked to join new waters for free and field testing! Haha Probably be doing my own channel in a bit and smashing it big time. Watch this space.

    Surely the work experience you gain in your working career is more essential than GCSE grades? I had S*** grades but have a better and well paid job than most of the people who got higher grades at school than me. I love the Nash brand but that view point is out dated.

      True mate I was bullied in school so left early zero grades got a job when I was 15 years old 19 years on still there own my own house zero mortgage left own everything no finance not even a contract phone yet most the top popular kids who bullied me or got good grades are either single parents or drug addicts inbetween jail sentences lol school taught me nothing about work

    I would love to see NASH products in Canada. Carp fishing is very much starting to take off here, more and more people are on the banks every day, but the HUGE lack of tackle to fish for these monsters is a problem. Without browsing the internet and various companies who happen to have carp equipment, rods are almost impossible to find, Bait is also pretty hard to find in quantity (other than corn or bread pieces), but as for carp.... oh there are so many, I can sit on the bank and easily catch 10 or more in just a few hours, and the fights really are incredible! Such a undervalued sport fishery!

    • @Drift-fpv
      @Drift-fpv 5 лет назад

      Make your own bait very easy mate but corn is probably the best bait I have ever used and I got the pick of lots of boillies herei inuk

      Thats because he's one of the top if not best fishermen in the world never mind the uk. Did you not see the and hear the dedication he has to angling. He is an inspiration to young and old. He deserves to be where he is through the hard work that he does for the sport. He never asked for his "hoodie" he earned it dont know how you can knock the guy he's awesome hard working and deserves everything he has worked for.
