    Just found your page ain’t stopped all morning watching you. You look to be a proper mechanic, I like listening to my dad’s old stories from when he was a mechanic in the early 70’s, hrs & hrs on the side of the road or lay-by

    I wonder did the unbalance from the mis-positioned flange cause the center bearing to fail?

    watched a few of your videos now, one of the most realistic people ive seen, none of this bullshit you only need snap on tools and make sure you do this and that, you do what works!

    Love when the guy before you thinks about the next guy that might have to work on it, so he puts never seize on the splines. When you find that, your faith in humanity is restored. Real mechanics always think about the next guy!

    3/8 gun snap on
    3/8 ratchet Milwaukee
    3/8 right angle impact Milwaukee
    1/2 gun snap on brushless (beast)
    3/4 Milwaukee (mode 4 nut busting awesome)
    Die grinder Milwaukee
    Grinder snap on & dewalt
    Impact driver dewalt
    Drill dewalt
    Sounds excessive but makes my life easier especially off site or in the yard

    The bearing inner race is not seized on . . .its an interference fit to stop it spinning, and should be pressed on.

      I’ve only got makita mate! that how to on the grease gun was a customers, it’s a good bit of kit, but expensive. I really don’t know what the best is mate I would think they all piss in the same pot😁 once you’ve got one you tend not to change because of the price of batteries

    Did the centre bearing wear prematurely because of the previous misalignment? Nice work, enjoying your channel 👍

    Chris about 5yra ago I told a garage boss his mechanism hadn't lined rhe shaft up right when the centre bearing went on the truck I was driving.
    He got under had a look..Got back from under my motor apologised and walked over and sacked the mechanic..I said to garage boss I didn't want to get the lad sacked!!
    He told he was bloody useless..And told the lad "Even the driver saw it before he drove it out the yard.. Why didn't you?"
    Seems like he was a lazy bugger who took twice as long to do a job.
    I felt bad about complaining!

    • @Professional-struggler
      @Professional-struggler  3 года назад

      By the sounds of it they was looking for an excuse to sack him! I know what you mean though I’d feel the same, .... aaar poor lad. Thanks for that Neil 👍 and cheers for watching pal

    That mis-alignment of the prop was probably the cause of the centre bearing going out

  • @hfraat25
    @hfraat25 3 года назад

    Probably why the bearing has gone miss lined

  • @mondodaftasabrush
    @mondodaftasabrush 3 года назад +2

    Go prepped with the grinder and thing falls apart typical
    Looks like it aint been on long and the last spanner monkey didn't have the knowledge to align the yokes up and its probably shak itself to bits prematurely

    • @Professional-struggler
      @Professional-struggler  3 года назад +1

      Yeah your right pal that’s probably what’s happened 👍 grinder 🥺.... no not me 🤣

  • @gdfggggg
    @gdfggggg 3 года назад

    I expect cause that yolk wasn’t lined up that’s what ruined the bearing.
