- Here are some essential principles for subject control. Naturally, these techniques are intended for implementation by multiple interventionists. In the case of solo interventions, priority is generally placed on harnessing the trunk or controlling the head. Higher levels of force are also sometimes required when intervening alone. Secondly, I recognize that legislation and guidelines vary and some interventionists may not be permitted contact with the head, neck or back. Familiarize yourself with your respective legislation and guidelines before training any tactics.

@@systemacanada , this is the stuff we should have learned as security guards and not some "self defense" techniques that were popular 1973 (and still aren't working today... ). Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
