- Learn how to program a key fob remote from Amazon using a scanner that is a cheaper option than the Snap-On Scanner. Quick and Easy with the proper tools!!!
FFWD to 4:10 He finally is able to find the Program FOB option.
"This car has a total of a shit load of modules" LMAO! Funny
Nice video, thanks for sharing. What model Autel scanner is that and what are they priced at normally? Thanks
I usually find all programable functions under the programing funtion. I have the 908 though so it maybe a lil different.
Any how great video! Thanx for sharing!
Drews Auto Every scanner is different, first time using the Autel for a key fob ☝🏼

Has a total of a "shit load of modules" HAHAHA you're killin me. That was great. Good video dude thanks for the comparison. I'm looking at picking up a Zeus since I'm not happy with the layout on the Matco Maximus 4.0 which I mainly got for Peterbilt stuff.
That's good information Hector. I have the Autel Maxidas, not quite the same as yours but I'll play around and see if it has this function.
wyattoneable this one’s for you 😎
Do you need a pin code# for a 2001 jeep grand cherokee,2011 dodge journey crew . Can you deprogram lost keys or fobs for either.
Glad to see a new video from you, Homie!
Volusia-ev Thanks 🙏🏼 staying busy...
What ones better? It makes sense that it would be under theft deterrent. Which one can program a key better?
Welding Junkie Either one is good, Autel is a lot cheaper, I’ve made a couple videos where the Autel beats the Snap-On Scanner. Check out my other videos😎
Homie Hektor I’ll check them out. That’s the one that everyone wants keys lol the way they cut them now anyway the hardware store can’t cut the new popsicle stick ones with the grove inside. I like them all.
can you do new immobilizers for toyo honda hyuandai kias ?
Which autel model are you using?
Keyless option is a great company, and not for a second did I expect Awfultel to make it easy for you to find lol. Nice video as always brother. Keep em coming
New Level Auto Awfultel 🤣 Thanks Keith...LIKEWISE 🤝
I programmed two "fob" remotes I purchased from ebay a couple of days ago. The new fob remotes did not have the button to pop the hatch glass (on a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee) the "old" remotes do have a button to pop the hatch glass, but I went ahead and programmed them using the old remotes. The programming seemed to go ok. The new remotes start the car and lock/unlock the doors, and I thought great! I saved a bunch of money by not going to a locksmith. BUT the car died on me today, and it will not start. I suspect the programming was not 100% successful. The car turns over and starts for a second then dies. Do you think the new fob remotes did not program 100% successfully? Would appreciate your thoughts, let me know if you need more info. Also, one of the old remotes was totally dead - I broke a the clip that holds the battery. The second "old" remote was bad and would lock/unlock the doors sporadically; that's the reason why I bought two new fob remotes; and that is also the reason I think maybe the new fob remotes did not program correctly, but what do I know? On the other hand, it may be coincidental that maybe there are other mechanical problems. Hope to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
Did you find the reason?
It’s the programming. Signal cross. Need to get it scanned.
My Autel AP200 has IMMO hot functions, but was not able to program RKE-GM-4B16 . The package says I need to program them using the"Advance Diagnostics" device.
Should I get different remotes and try again?
I was able to erase the two existing FOBs (which I don't have) but nothing happened when in program mode and holding lock/unlock.
Went to fast on the list to see what number you pushed. #19 ? What did it say?
What model# is that scanner?
Hey Hektor. I have read that on a 03 Ram you can jump pin #1 to a ground and thet inters in programing mode and then you just press a button on the new keyfob and it will programe it. Is this correct or is someone trying to get people to ruin the pcm ?
Body Control > Remote Control Door Lock Receiver
How much is the scanner and what model is it ...? were the link...
Just seen couple prices for the verus dam 2,500 to 4,500 that's insane lol😵
Do you need internet for this decide?
Marco Martinez no,
Which 1 is better for bmw, infinit,Lexus, key programming
Jonathan Ruiz Haven’t done it on any of those makes, but I’d say Autel is better.
Good info to know I’ve been thinking of getting an autel
Juan Hinojosa you should, it’ll pay off 💰
That's dope yo!!! I be trippen like scotty pippen not to buy me a Autel. Peace out Homie Hektor.
Thanks homie you helped me out with this video.

Those scanners ain't cheap
RamVan Bobby nope, unless you get em used 🤨
Tnx very nice video
Wasted 4 1/2 minutes looking for key fob programming function.
Spent, not wasted…
@@HomieHektor Great response, Hector. Someone pissed in xray’s cheerios. Poor fella.
This is funny asf it's a Chevy no scanner required to program remotes. Or programming the key blanks.
Do you see the SS IN THE STERRING WHEEL? Pretty sure its an hhr. Not all vehicles are obp capable. Thats funny you think this is funny.
It's a Malibu not an hhr....yes about half of the hhrs cannot be programmed without a scan tool
@@robertlawarre373 Someone pissed in Josh’s Cheerios too. Wow, what a sourpuss!
Hey Josh, see if you can program a 2001 Chevy Cavalier without a scan tool. YOU CAN’T! Do your homework before you start bashing people. You should be ashamed of yourself. And stop being such a dang fool!!
It’s under services that’s why he can’t find it
next time you do it, it is under the service tab.... not diagnostics.
haha you dont need a computer to program the fob its in your settings for chevys
They removed that option from the information center almost a decade ago...
@@BlueFourDelta so anything 09 and newer you need a scanner?
@@mastermechanicfelipe4641 Really a 2011 and newer they stopped in 2010 appearently. Theres not one in my LT 2010 Cobalt but is one a LT 2010 Traverse. According to one video up to a 2013. Just look for the specific set of 4 buttons and youll know if you can do it.

Yeah doesnt see any for 2011 hhr either ..
And then there’s Hooker. You’re absolutely wrong, Hooker. Obviously you don’t own a Chevy vehicle that has to be programmed at the dealership, or by a locksmith, or by an owner with a good quality scantool. They are out there. I happen to own one of them. Why not do some research before chiming in?
i have a zurich zr 13 ...can i program my remote with this
JOE Butkins not sure 🤔
