The feeling I got from the end of the film was, as mentioned, a sense of completion. A John Wayne and Grace Kelly off into the sunset type of felling. Lose ends were tied up from previous films.
It's sad listening to this and Daniel Craig talk about how much sweat, blood and tears went into making Spectre. It just goes to show that no matter how good the team is behind the film; if there is not a solid script behind it all, it can turn into a mess like Spectre. You would have thought Mendes' judgment would be good after the excellent Skyfall but it almost seems Skyfall was almost a fluke for him and the 'writing on the wall' started with them choosing Sam Smith for the title song.
What was ironic was when 3 members of the cast featured on Graham Norton, neither of them couldn't answer what the plot of the film was about. But I still liked it, as an entertaining Bond film.
+the good hustler Yeah, i'm skipping seeing it at the cinema. I'll watch it at home when I can SKIP that brain-melting garbage, or at the very least hit 'mute'
Sam Mendes seems like a really nice man.
Mark looks like he's fallen in love with Mendes. He's drooling throughout the interview.
Great interview.
Sam Mendes seems such a nice bloke.
7:31 mark looks really pleased with himself
