  • Western Australia: An Inexhaustible Land of Dreams. All shots collected over a year worth of videos shows a strikingly astounding blueprints of Perth from an aerial view perspective unlike never before. I had a dream of showing the world of our diversities, iconic landmarks, and its ever growing culture that glued us as best neighbours.
Would really appreciate if you could consider sharing with your friends, family and the world that you are proud of living in this remarkable city.

    Perth is the worst.
Too many sunny days and too many great beaches and parks to spend them at.
Definitely too much green grass around the Swan River.
Absolutely too much nature in Kings Park and a number of other parklands.
Easily too many beautiful places within a few hours drive of the city for holiday getaways.
Perth Arena and Optus Stadium are too new and too world class to host sports and entertainment events.
Oh and there’s waaaaay too many awesome people around the place.
But.... we may hang around a bit longer and see if it improves a bit.

How about harsher weather climate, much worse than Adelaide and Melbourne and Sydney for example? Their summer temperature is much too hot and in winter is too warm and the rainfall is too intense in winter, while it gets far too dry in summer in Perth. No one ever would want live in Perth in this such horrid climate. No thanks! And also Perth is too far from another capital city is a major downside, its bad for business/economy.

I am Scottish. I had been to 22 countries before I came to Perth. When I first arrived I knew this was the most beautiful place in the world for me. I got off the plane, bought the quokka, called a landlord in Applecross. He told me to go to the rental and I would find the keyes in a plant pot, which I did. I stayed 4 weeks, he never came for the money so I called him and he told me to leave the cash in the plant pot, he totally trusted complete strangers, so I left the money then my wife and I cleaned his entire house top to bottom and washed all his linen for being so trusting. Also, during my first week in Perth my car broke down, actually I ran out of petrol. The guy in the car immediately behind me got out to help me. I had no money or cash card on me so he insisted on taking me to a petrol station , he bought a can, filled it up and drove me back to my car. He made sure my car started then waved goodbye. I love Australians, they are some of the kindest and easy-going people I have ever met. That's why I stayed for 12 years and now have 2 little Aussie children. I have always said its the closest your going to get to heaven on earth.
    God bless Australia!!!
    .......especially Perth!!!!

Oh lord save me from the YT comments section... geez people, of course it's a sarcastic title ! Perth has often been labelled the most boring/dead/expensive/worst city in Australia, but as the footage clearly shows it's beautiful ! One of the sunniest capitals in the whole country, pristine beaches, clean air.. I could go on. Yes, you'll find problems everywhere if you look for them, it can also be a shortcoming of one's own personality to dwell on the negative. To complain about living in such a city is truly a ‘first world problem’ confected by a very unimaginative mind.

Perth is truly the best city in Australia. It has the best beaches, and the weather is always nice, it’s not as busy as the Eastern cities but that’s definitely one of the best perks, it’s big enough so that you have a lot of activities to do and beautiful places to explore but still small enough that you aren’t stuck in such a fast paced lifestyle.

I agree with his title and if everyone spreads the word, we can keep the best place in the world a secret. It is such an incredible place and in all the cities I have been in around the world, it is the best. If you want noise and non-stop entertainments and activities you can find it but it is not in your face all the time like some cities. If you want breathable air, you just have to step outside. If you want pristine beaches, there are plenty of choices. Great cycle paths, great community. Don't force it to be a big city with the same rubbish that everyone else has. This is a gem and if you want the rest, jump on a plane. BTW Australians have a great work ethic and an appreciation for honesty and integrity. Love you Australia. Don't let others force the change.

You can't get work, stinking hot in the summer, eating out is way overpriced, have to drive everywhere cos the PT is shocking, it's full of old people, the politicians have their head up their ass, and no one who lives there thinks that the world outside exists. I got out of there after Uni. Remember watching the Truman Show in 98 and thinking it could have been shot in Perth.....

I had to make a profile just to leave a comment. Seriously people how can you all say how great Perth is?? showing a few scenic shots of sunsets, beaches and a couple landmarks show nothing about perth life. It is officially the most isolated city in the world which means its stuck in the 70s with ignorant bogan racist backward mentalities. Everything is behind the times and costs triple the price because it trucks everything over from East rather than producing things here.
Yes it has nice beaches but its soooo dead. If you love to live in isolation within a large country town (yet very very unsociable "community") then its for you. However if you're a modern person that doesn't live in the past then its not for you.
    Perth in a nutshell:
suburb, industrial estate, shopping centre, suburb, industrial estate, shopping centre, suburb, industrial estate, shopping centre, and repeat.
    Everything is triple the price.
There is almost no social life. Only about 5 small places in the whole city to go for a small pub crawl or have a choice of restaurants and maybe a couple shops.
Every suburb and shopping centre is almost identical so there is no variation or culture in this city.
    People don't like to socialise.
It has one of the highest meth addictions in the world so its full of racist dumbarse bogans.
It has a tiny transport system so its almost impossible to get around if you don't have a car.
You have all these nice beaches but no council makes use of this to its advantage. Bars, restaurants , hotels and activity clubs could make a killing.
And most importantly the unemployment rate is off the charts no matter what fake reports say.
As 100000s of new houses are going up (built by only a few tight knit companies), that ,means so many people are moving in yet there is no work for them as the industries aren't expanding. FACT. as confirmed by recruitment companies. As soon as jobs are advertised at least 600 people apply for that 1 position straight away yet only a handful of people are contacted.
I can go on and on about experiences.
Yes it has nice beaches and good hospitals but if there is no income (as the miners milk all the money) then you're set up to fail. Dead dead boring overly priced dull city. I count the days til i can escape

No culture in a city with 45% of residents born outside of Australia... known as the alternate cape town because it's the #1 place for south Africans to move... known as little India and Malaysia and is the first place immigrants go to before going around Australia... And as for no new jobs... we just had the biggest mining boom in human history and the bubble burst of course there are no new jobs. We export over 50% of Australia's goods and make $40,000 more than the average Australian. Funny thing is there are now 10,000 new jobs yearly and immigration has increased. From what it sounds like you live in the Bronx trying to say Manhattan is a sh*thole. and as for unemployment charts being "fake" why would the ABS lie about a WA city? Maybe you just live in a bad neighborhood because your story doesn't match up to anybody I've met. And I've lived in 4 suburbs from poor to kind of wealthy.

    • @thetrashmaster1352
      @thetrashmaster1352 6 лет назад +1

Okay mate let me tell you some facts from the ABS and Chamber of Commerce...
Mining output in WA has doubled since 2008.
China (WA's biggest trading partner) has switched from investing in WA to buying from WA again which means mining, forestry, fishing and agriculture are increasing.
It was expected that at the end of the mining boom WA's mining output would decrease, however, it only decreased by 85% of the fordcast decline between 2012 and 2016 (The National parties regime) Since Labor has been government in 2017 we are back on track to our AAA credit rating.
Since 2016 each quarter has seen economic growth of 1.5% and houshold wealth has been increasing at 0.2%. (Not bad for a mining economy.)
since the McGowan labor government took office 75% of business owners expect strong economic development in the coming years. 83% of economic experts expect strong state economic growth in the coming years due to our $103 dollar infrastructural reform and continued foreign investment from China and the UK. As well as the Federal government giving back some of the stolen GST money.
Our state is broadcast by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to increase by 0.9% by 2019 and by 2% for the following year. This will put us back above the Australian Average after falling behind at the end of the mining boom.
Fulltime employment growth is already the highest in the country i might add. at 3.63% we are beating the Aussie average of 2.27% and the next best state (VIC) at 3.14%.
Oh and 15,000 new jobs have been created in the last 12 months with that figure set to only increase.
positive investment is planned to increase to positive growth by 2019 at 3%
wages will also grow above Aussie average at 2.8% in 2019-2020.
Oh and unemployment has decreased by 0.6% since labor took office. I think that's all I need to say.

Fly your drone down Murray street at 3am to view the hundreds of homeless sleeping on the footpath. 3am is the best time because that's when the street washer trucks with the men with hoses come and spray all the piss off the footpath while making sure they get the odd homeless person too. Looks great from the sky but come back down to earth and we have serious issues.

Everyone who has said perth is "boring" clearly doesnt understand the concept of peaceful relaxation, family time and quiet contemplation. Life doesn't need to be jam packed every day and you dont need to do everything the city has to offer in one day. Take it easy, slow down and smell the flowers.

You gotta love the aerial footage and our beautiful country. I've lived in Perth/W.A. on & off for a very long time. It was definitely a better place pre- mining etc boom (another one) in 2003. Funny how in the 90's people said it was very isolated and the sand and the flies bla, bla, bla but it didn't stop thousands of people from N.S.W. and VIC moving over. Same with QLD, joking years ago that it was 10 years behind the rest of Australia and wondering if they had electricity yet. Now the place is being over run by Southerners (Mexicans) etc.

    I 100% disagree
I live in Perth during COVID and we hardly have ANY lockdowns I think the last time we had it was about 5 - 4 month’s ago
You can see a beautiful sunset and go to Fremantle to have such delicious fish and chips
Also kings park is the BEST you can cross many bridges and see the wonderful plants, trees and flower
    Perth convention centre:
I love it. It has many things as well as collect things such at pen, books and more. You can experience a vertical reality while siping on your hot chocolate
Weather: Perth weather is great. In winter I can be cold but it is at time to snuggle in your bed and get warm
Autumn and spring: it’s not to cold not to warm it’s just perfect. During this weather you can go to places such as kings park, parks and more!
Summer: it can be real hot but that’s the right time to do to the beach and surf, swim and relax you can go to water parks such as adventure world, outback splash and more!
    I love Perth🇦🇺❤️

Perth is a nice place to live although I do miss how it was in my youth. On hot nights we could leave the front door open along with all the windows to get the easterly breeze.
You could leave your car keys in the ignition.
The rent man would knock on the door each week with his receipt book and money satchel to collect the rent.
The milkman would leave the milk on your doorstep.
On Sundays, you would go to the newsagents which would be closed but they would leave the newspapers on the footpath where you would just leave your money on the top newspaper.
The rubbish collectors would walk into your backyard and take your rubbish bins, empty them then return them. My dad would leave a few bottles of beer for them at Christmas.
The bottloe man would come around every now and then to collect your empty beer bottles and give you a few dollars for them.
Thousands would gather in the city on new years eve where passionately kissing as many young ladies as possible was the tradition.
The crime was low and drugs were rarely seen.
Yes, Perth is a beautiful city and still a great place to live. I only wish that the younger generation could experience it the way we did.

I love my home town of Perth, yet since the mining boom decline 2013-14 there's no jobs and the price of living expenses haven't dropped with the mining decline. House prices may have dropped 30%, yet that is been taken off a 300% mark up from boom times. Still a long way to go yet!....eg:- $10.00 Scooners, $8.00 Coffee. Minimum wage jobs with Tourist charged living expenses.

Perth... Come on mate! We have the new best stadium (Optus stadium) a lovely community, historic places to go/ town as well like Gillford.
The Elizabeth Quay... We host telethon... We are the gateway to London with the new Dreamliner... Like you know in the whole community as far as from Busso to Guilderton, this is the place where you could share a snagger over the fence to your mates. The list goes on. There are so many other reasons why Perth is a lovely city... Live in Busso, traveled everywhere in Australia and I don't say that your city's are the worst. Straya should just be the place where we all get along and share snaggers with each other.

Maybe not but definitely some of the most gullible people in the world, honestly they will believe any old media beat up.

If you are bored it is your own fault. There is a tremendous amount to do and see in and around Perth.
It is a very family-friendly city. If you want a lot of bright lights and nightclubs, then sure, Perth is most probably not for you. Look, I am not denying there is drug use, to do so would be foolish. However, it is no more than in any other city and even country town.

There's heaps going on, all the time, but you do have to dig.
I seriously hope this latest hiccup with a Fringeworld promoter doesn't trash the entire festival, as it's the best thing to happen to this beautiful city since I arrived here in 1970!
