Recorded throughout 2018, the film focuses on our contrast landscape of Western Australia (WA) in the first ever 6K resolution using Apple's latest ProRes RAW codec via Zenmuse Super 35mm APS-C X7 Lens. From its towering sky-scrappers to its vast outback, WA offers plentiful choices throughout the year for you to discover.

With Apple ProRes at hand, it enables me to create an unimaginable workflow while providing maximum flexibility of RAW with incredible 1:1 6K playback performance.
Admittedly, this wouldn't otherwise be possible had I stuck with traditional DNG's format. While ProRes has it's limitation when comparing to CinemaDNG (such control on metadata in post). It could easily overcome as ProRes RAW offers flexible workflow and often more meaningful manageable file-sizes. Combined with Final Cut Pro X editing Software, the possibility is limitless. Using my 3 years old MacBook Pro, I was able to render the final production at lightning speed while retaining its highest quality and details when choosing ProRes RAW HQ

While you're experiencing floods there I've lived through those too, you're only just experiencing the one I went through in 1961 in Windsor!
We were cut off, but not before storing all our neighbours furniture and equipment at our place, their homes ended up under water, roofs and all. The rail line was washed away, Windsor bridge totally under, water lapping at the old hotel, and the river up to the top n the other side just down from "Doctors House" where Dr Skinner's practice was. We ended up having fresh oranges and basic food items delivered by the Army in an Army Duck...
Never seen anything like that here!

That's right Matt - I've driven through Sydney in peak period and it's disgusting. Perth gets traffic too but yeah being less than half the size in population, you can imagine it's pretty cruzy by comparison.
@@bryce6744 I live in Brisbane at the moment and the traffic here is also shocking, but I'm looking at moving to Perth later on in the year so I'm glad to hear that statement get backed up. I'm also seriously looking forward to exploring Perth and what it has to offer, particularly as I've never been there. Might seem a bit of a naive move to some people, but I like to look at it as a "fuck it, why not?" opportunity.
@@mattnorris7124 haha yeah why not mate. Perth is a similar sized city to Brisbane - slightly smaller and more sprawled. It get's more sunshine per year than Brissie and to the best of my knowledge has better planning of roads and rail as it took off a little slower than Brisbane did. If you like the beach you're going to love how close you are to the coast line. The weather is warm and dry most of the year - so similar to Brisbane but without the humidity. FYI the house market is perfect for buyers right now - not sure what your budget is, but for $400K plus, you can buy yourself a 3 bedroom brick house within 20-30km of the city which is crazy when you consider how close these places are to the beach too. Enjoy it mate.

This has to be tongue in cheek. I've been since 2010 and still learning. It's beautiful but along with all of Australia has MAJOR homeless and Domestic Violence. I ended up in 6 refuges; battered and raped by Belfast madman James McGilton. Nothing to do with Perth. The amazing people helped me get back on track and even the Barrister didn't invoice me. Truly warm, caring people that I'll never forget. True disaster as I watched Dolphins teaching their young to fish in the shallows. You are allowed an opinion when you've experienced it. Lived in Perth alll my life, the nineties for me was the best time of my life in Perth. Houses were affordable, no big crowds and you could drive around easily without too much traffic, now just another big city.

Perth is a Fantastic City, people are socially awkward though (not rude, I think it’s culturally how they’ve been brought up or whatever) but still all round decent people... Good Food is hard to come by (with the exception of seafood and beef that’s real good local WA wines are fantastic to) you really have to be local and know your way around... Plenty of Great Whites just off the beautiful beaches etc, but other than that, Great City Great Weather!!! Some of the best Hotels in the world have just popped up here to...
