I was there after they filmed it in the summer of 83 and they had Jaws and Jaws sections and props on display like a exhibit out in the open and you could touch everything too. I even remember that same exact waterski show as well. Saw the movie in the theater in 3- D
Omg, when I say I screamed in joy seeing this vlog title...this is in my top five favorite guilty pleasure movies! I seriously watch it 1-2 times a month. It’s my movie to watch when I’m sad. Or when I miss SeaWord/Orlando! Thank you Micah!!!!!
Back in the late 80s one of the local channels in the Boston suburbs showed monster and horror movies all weekend. That’s when I first saw Jaws 3. I didn’t see it again until recently and thought it was much more fun than it gets credit for. This was such a great video reminding everyone about a forgotten cult gem!
Spectacular video, enjoyed every minute of it, thanks !! Absolutely love this movie, my mom took me as a kid and we saw it in 3D wearing those red/blue glasses. I own it on blu ray and can watch it on 2D or 3D on my 150” screen. Now my little one loves this movie too, including its soundtrack. Can’t wait for a restoration 4K dolby atmos release on 4K.
Really appreciate a real Jaws 3D fan! Thank you for this amazing walk through. You know lines and characters which is fun to see as I’m something of a Jaws 3D nerd too.
Outstanding work! So nostalgic to be transported back to these scenes. The “sh.. sh… SHARK!” quote from the sign was actually spoken by Tina in Jaws2; not the original, btw. Thanks so much for taking the time and sharing this w everyone
Thanks for this childhood memory ! My first time going to visit the Atlanta Aquarium, which has the underwater tunnels , I was pretending I was in Jaws 3D , lol. I remember the day I first saw Jaws 3D. My friend Libby was down for the summer staying with her aunt, my mom's best friend, here in N.C. My mom dropped me and Libby off at the movie theater for the 2:00 pm showing . We were both only 12 years old, but my mom had bought the tickets , so it was ok, lol.
Love it!! However the Shark restaurant wasn't part of SeaWorld back in 1983. As far as I know that area was a stationary viewing area of the Shark Tunnel, when this attraction was known as Terrors of the Deep...it wasn't converted until around 2005. I may be wrong, but that's what I remember.
Great to see this episode! We were kids I. The Northeast vacationing at the beach during the original Summer of Jaws. It was a huge phenomenon. Although none of the sequels caused the same stir, they were fun as well. Stay out of the water!
We lived in Orlando at the time and we went on a field trip at the time of filming there was places blocked off but did get a shot of the shark on a crane with a tarp over it wish I would have had a camera but I was very young but remember it all.
Fun video... I can see this video meant a lot to you.... Which is great... Swan boat seemed fun..... Never saw movie , will have to check it out... You always do these types of videos so well... You always do your homework.... Thanks for sharing... Take care ....have a great day.... thanks.... 👍👍👍
Oh yessssssssssss! This is my favorite out of the franchise. A young me saw 3D in the theaters. I still remember the audience laughing at how cheesy Jaws was at the end, but I LOVED it. P.S. I always love your Halloween 3 t-shirts.
Love these type of videos Micah! I always use to look for he filming locations when I was at Sea World. I believe they also had some publicity and promotional photos of Jaws 3-D near the entrance of the park back in the day.
Omg this was one of my favorite episodes! JAWS 3 was my favorite of the series growing up. I've never been to SeaWorld but I would honestly like to go just to see these spots since I am a big fan of the whole Jaws franchise. I can see the similarities of each of these spots but the feel of the park seems so much different now. I hope you don't have copyright issues for this one because this adventure was amazing. You definitely have to hit up Martha's Vineyard one day. That episode I would love to see!
I watched Jaws 3-D in sea world while on holiday with my mum....just before going in the "shark encounter" underwater tunnels....i was crapping myself 🤣
1983 was quite a time ago, ya got the right bud. I was 10 and it was the first 3D movie I saw. Were did time go? Ugh. But, hey, I got to least grow up in a fun decade. Lol.
This was a very interesting video.,.. I'm not gonna call you weird !!! I'm gonna call you mister knowledge lol I love this type of stuff and you do it right thank you and stay weird lol also your about this sort of thing not a lot about the expensive stuff just the facts yep just the facts keep doing what you're doing !!!
Hard to believe there was a young Dennis quad in this movie. So they really filmed at sea world Orlando. That’s awesome. In that case, I saw where the original movie was filmed and this one.
So awesome, I am trying to get my daughters to watch the movie so when we go to sea world again they can see where it was all filmed. Was the water ski show at cypress gardens when they where out in the make believe ocean or was it sunkin gardens?
Did the shark encounter tour...they point out scenes as well...their dive shop was a scene and the pool where they were walking the shark around waiting for it to wake up is the med pool above the tunnel
The Shark’s Underwater Bar and Grill looks a touch disappointing today. In the film, it was more of a higher end lounge and somewhat elegant looking restaurant. Today it looks like a standard burger and fries place that serves drinks. All the charm of a TGI Fridays, only with fish tanks throughout. I guess Sea World is not exactly a place that people go for fine dining. It’s a place you bring your bratty kids. Good video, thanks for filming. I love these.
Shark's Underwater Grill was not there in '82/'83. That was the three screen pre-show for teh OG Shark Encounter. Shark's Underwater Grill didn't open till 2000s. The Neptune restaurant was a set
Jaws 3 is probably one of my favorites besides the horrible Bahamas one, always been a fantasy world, and no pretty much everywhere you're going in there by memory, plus was just there a couple of times recently.
14:16 - the real tunnel was the set up for walking towards it, - but the actual acrylic tube tunnel was built on a sound stage - for "green screen" -- it would been impossible and dangerous to film inside the real acrylic tube
I think this movie is very watchable, and gets a bad rap. The worst things in it are some of the dodgy special effects and shark effects (3-d included). Other than that, I think it's brisk, mindless fun. Some novel ideas, and Lou Gossett is great. Plus, it has one of the most disturbing deaths in all the Jaws movies, when the camera is "inside" the shark.
Jaws 3 might of been cheesy, but it had a higher body count in the series. I love this movie. It's more of thrillomedy. This movie almost got an R rating, because it was kind of graphic! After watching this movie, Steve Speilberg, created the PG~13 rating! If u watch Sharknado 3, the movie is paying homage to Jaws 3. It was filmed at Universal Orlando!
I could be mistaken, but I think the tunnel was built for the movie and they decided to keep it and make the shark tunnel out of it because of Jaws 3. It appears that Sharks Grill is a refurbed Jaws 3 set, built for the movie.
Jaws 3. What a terrible film lol. Jaws 2 gets criticised by some people, but compared to 3 it’s a masterpiece. It was an interesting idea to move the story from Amity, and to have the shark enter a SeaWorld type park, which was connected to the sea, but everything else about it was wrong. It always had the look and feel of a TV movie to me, with no star names as such, with the exceptions of Denis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jnr and terrible special effects. It certainly had the effect of killing off the Jaws franchise, until Jaws The Revenge came along. At the time of 3’s release, I hadn’t been to SeaWorld Orlando, but have been many times since and although it’s a bad film, there is a thrill from wandering around where a lot of it was made. Did SeaWorld ever use their connection with the film in anyway? No Jaws attraction? No exhibits? A missed opportunity if they didn’t. I have to say Micah that I’m really enjoying your videos and have been catching up on a few recently. I first became aware of you thanks to The Daily Woo, and love the content you have posted. Looking forward to watching more.
You go inside the flamingo? Flamingo goes in the water? You go in the water? Sharks in the water. Our shark...
Best comment ever
@@worldofmicah Thanks for posting this. We're heading to Orlando in 3 weeks and will be visiting Sea World. Showing my kids Jaws 3D in preparation.
I was there after they filmed it in the summer of 83 and they had Jaws and Jaws sections and props on display like a exhibit out in the open and you could touch everything too.
I even remember that same exact waterski show as well.
Saw the movie in the theater in 3- D
Hope you all enjoy this fun episode!
first jaws movie i saw, and the best one
love anything Jaws ( and I too loved Jaws 3), and also loved the commitment of jumping into a pink swan to capture filming locations :-)

Thanx for the tour, really enjoyed, big fan of JAWS 3, so nice to see some of the locations
Underated camp classic. May be wrong but I thought they shot the tunnel scenes on a set with greenscreen?
they did, there's behind the scenes shots of it. The tunnel wasn't underwater, it was all effects on a set.
Spectacular video, enjoyed every minute of it, thanks !! Absolutely love this movie, my mom took me as a kid and we saw it in 3D wearing those red/blue glasses. Great video….Hoping to visit these locations myself soon…. From England.
Jaws 3 is one of my favourite movies!!!! Love it!!!!
Thanks for this.
Glad you enjoyed it - it’s so cool when you visit SeaWorld and see it all in person
@@worldofmicah I did visit Seaworld a long time ago but I wasn't looking for the locations at the time, so it's good to see here.

Watching this as the movie is playing on my tv.Nice job I enjoyed it.
Great job covering Jaws 3 Micah! I really enjoyed it.
Jaws 3D love!! Super thumbs up. The two years I had a Sea World pass I would look for the Jaws 3D locations. So cool!

JAWS 3 is my favorite of the JAWS sequels! It's so much fun! It has a fantastic score and is genuinely creepy too. I love it!
Awesome video! Nicely done, sir.

Awesome man. I love all the jaws movies. I never knew this one actually was set at sea world Orlando. Love the video
Ottimo lavoro, pedalere dentro il flamingo....io non ci sarei andato..
1st off I like your videos! This is the best Jaws 3 ones I’ve seen! What did you get flagged for? To much actual movie footage??
Great job!
Please show us the other locations around central Florida, I was only aware of the sea world locations, now I’m curious

We were down at sea world right after they were done filming. Some props were still there.
That’s very cool!
I was there today (Seaworld), and I found myself looking for all of the filming locations. I love Jaws 3-D.
Was unaware there are other locations in Florida, please please show us these other locations!!!

Hello there loved your video very well done do you know where they sunk the airplane where Jaws attacks the airplane and it sinks
JAWS III is my next favorite outside of the original classic. Definitely under-rated.
Jaws 3 is terrible
@@wildeirishpoet 4 is terrible
1983 was a long time ago, and I want to go back to the 80s
Micah, the dolphin Adventures area, is that at the top of the hill?
I was there just before they shot the film, saw some props and signs saying Jaws 3 was going to be filming soon.
Was there in 2016 and it was easy to tell where a lot of scenes were filmed
They really should had displayed the mechanical shark somewhere at the park. That would be amazing getting to see the actual shark used in the film.
Did the shark encounter tour...they point out scenes as well...their dive shop was a scene and the pool where they were walking the shark around waiting for it to wake up is the med pool above the tunnel

I loved the 2 Brits in it Simon mccorkindale was great as the cocky adventurer ....and his butler type pal...Leah Thompson was great as well...
My favorite is Jaws 1 in Jaws 2 with Roy Schneider
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

did they shut the park

What’s the potential gator status in a body of water like that?
Love the film, thanks.
I was always intrigued that they made the undersea kingdom look like it was 100 feet below the surface
14:16 - the real tunnel was the set up for walking towards it, - but the actual acrylic tube tunnel was built on a sound stage - for "green screen" -- it would been impossible and dangerous to film inside the real acrylic tube
What about the spot where those 2 guys trespass
It was a terrible movie, but I love your channel 😊
The original SW marquee is actually where that lighthouse and "ocean" is....you went straight in
I believe Cindy and sandy are still alive, they live in discovery cove, at sea world
I think this movie is very watchable, and gets a bad rap. The worst things in it are some of the dodgy special effects and shark effects (3-d included). This movie has aged like a fine Wine Cooler
Fun fact: Dennis Quaid admitted to being on cocaine during the entire filming of Jaws 3D

That Movie was Absolutely Terrible....Almost an Unintentional Comedy
The shark isn't named Jaws. It's just a shark.
saw the movie at the cinema not a good movie
I don’t think it’s supposed to be anything but fun and that’s it’s charm
It’s not a horror movie 🙄
Definitely wouldn’t file it under comedy but anyways thanks for letting me know.
