I got almost an identical truck that’s getting a bunch of shit from lc. ARP head studs, 1mm over sized stainless valves, hardened locks guides and retainers with performer valve springs and a pro torquer camshaft, new rocker assembly, adjustable cam gear, metal backed timing set, lc intake pipe, has a lc exhaust pipe kit and flowy muffler, gonna delete the muffler and cat an see how it sounds. And when the shop throws all the parts in have it tuned so it has a mixture of bangs and grumbling pops on decel and sometimes between shifts when upshifting, (and I know a shops building it, I just built a 22re for another pickup this month and don’t wanna do that again, truck runs tits, just want my parts warranty and clean hands 😂)
There’s a thing called an air fuel meter on top of your air box. It’s sealed with clear silicone. Use a razor blade to trim off around the black plastic thing on top. Should be square on one end with a semicircle on the other. Pop it off and look inside. Should see a circuit board and a coil spring. In the bottom right on the semicircle side you should see a small Phillips head screw holding down a prong type thing that is clicked into one of the gears. Mark it. Now carefully press the prong away from the gear and turn counterclockwise about 5 teeth and insert the prong there. Tighten the screw back up. Unplug the efi fuse and relay from the fuse box as well as the engine fuse under the dash on the drivers side footwell. Wait 10 minutes. Hook everything back up and start it. Wait for exhaust to get hot. Rev near redline sporadically for about 10 seconds. Let off momentarily then rev it like before a few times near redline. Should pop and shoot flames if you don’t have a cat and have an aftermarket muffler/glasspack. You can see mine on Instagram @that_rusty_luxy if you have anymore questions hmu
What size rims and tires are those I been wanting to get me a new set but idk exactly how much bigger I can go though you have any clearance issues with them?
Did you need any kind of spacers in the back? Its hard for me to find good rims with a center bore big enough to fit in the back. I wonder if all have the same problem or just sertain years. I got a 94 but got the diferencial swapped out but not sure if they put another year or what
*_This is dope. Going to start building up my toyota pickup as well. Might boost it with a turbo or supercharger_*
