Nice job luke , that is a chore tapping especially in that area where the bolts snapped, i am having trouble with a shock where the nut on it is rusted so bad from 29 years and now i have to cut it 🤦♂️now
Hi I was lucky I could go through the wheel stud hole, it poor they used such small bolt originally but now it has bigger bolts so if it ever needs to come off again it should be easier, some bolt can be a right pain, good luck with sorting your nit 🙂👍
Try going a half turn forward and a quarter turn back when your tapping holes, removes the waste material and makes cutting a new thread easier. Not belong till the breadvan is on the road
Hi yes I should have done that, I think my main problem was I only drilled it out 5mm then tapped it with an M6 I should have drilled it 5.5m but I struggled and got it through. I’m getting close now, Im still having running issues I’ve done a few alterations and I’m hoping it will be better and also it’s going to have a manual choke I just don’t like that auto choke.
