A lot of people mentioning that dvr won't be available for analog since it's a hardware limit. Did you actually get told by walksnail that this feature will be added later? You are the first person I hear saying this
Hi Gal, Great video and review of the Walksnail X-GEN Googles. Yes finally I have my answer. I just watched several videos on this Googles and I wanted to ask if the screens are OLED and you just answers the question. I would love to fly with a HD system. But the only thing about HD is the extra $120 each quad. Thanks again for the video and information about this Googles.
Thanks Johnny! Well if you think about it - an analog camera and a decent VTX would cost you around $50-$70 so you will need to add about $50 per drone. Happy flying!
don't you have thermal images for the walksnail v1 too? I''d like to see how the heat spreads in v1 compared to v2. And btw, v2 firmware update didn't solve overheating problem
Hello, I was wondering if the optics of the OG walksnail goggles differ from the goggles X. My current walksnail goggles cut off the edge and blurry at the corners. Does this have the same issue?
sweet goggles Gal, but somehow, in my opinion, looking at the edges etc, the build quality is not very neat. hopefully, production version going to be better.
I think the version that I got is the same as the production version but I guess we have to wait and see. Regardless I don't think that the build quality is that bad :-)
Excellent review, you covered operational points that other reviewers did not. Thanks, Gal.
Thanks a lot Mark, I appreciate it! I know that I could have done better though and I plan to post more videos :-)
Nice, concise review. No way I’m going to listen to an hour of Mad’s accent!
Thank you! Ian has a very detailed video and it's split into sections. About the accent I guess it's an acquired taste haha 🤣. Happy flying!
how close is the quality if it again DJI Goggles 2 and an 03?

That’s what I’ve been told by Walksnail when making the video. It might be incorrect…
Awesome review, Gal! Thanks! 😃
Perhaps we could replace the front cover with one with an analog bay!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks a lot Mario! That's a good suggestion :-)
Not a bad price, I remember when new analog fatsharks were 500+
Yes I think that their margin is not that high.

I'm planning to use analog only on this goggle as my upgrade goggle. What is your opinion Gal?
If you are just going to use it for analog FPV (and not for digital FPV using the Avatar system) - I would probably go with the new Skyzone goggles.

Sorry but I think that you’re confusing me with Mads Tech :-)
@@KremerFPV indeed, sorry

Hopefully they will fix the hdmi ports so HDMI cables actually fit.
I guess it depends on the cable type. Mine worked.
Do the Avatar Digital HD VTX modules have an overheat protection circuit
Yes.
@@KremerFPV Thank You!
This looks AWESOME!
:-)
another pair of goggles i dont have money for :))
Yeah, I feel your pain. 😬
:-(
May I ask what goggles mask / foam is on your dji goggles 2? The factory foam doesn't feel very good.

Yes they seem better. I will post a comparison video.
Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!

@@KremerFPV coming from eachine ev200d + walksnail vrx and dji goggles v2. Would you recommend the caddx goggles X? And the reasons behind it are?
How do you call a typo if it's audio? 😅
It's walksnail goggles X. 😃
What did I say instead? I recorded it pretty late at night so please forgive me in advance :-)
@@KremerFPV You said DJI goggles X at 3:26 😅

Where's Bardwell on this???
I am pretty sure his video will be up soon.
Probably discussing how much he wants paid to give them a good review.
Looks cheaply made but functional
I don't think they look or feel cheap :-)
I agree with you, The old goggles appear to be made of a higher quality plastic than the new ones, and the old goggles look better.
Fantastic
Cheers!
Hehe
