My younger brother died, age 33, april gone -and this was the b-side to OMD on tape. We sung it so much. I miss him. Hard. I would rather be dead than miss him this much.

My father died of AIDS at the age of 36, my mother died of liver failure at the age of 58. My adoptive father died of cancer at 57. Thanks to Jesus Christ, I got through these difficult times🙏❤️
You know it was only at the very end, when my mother's body was riddled with cancer and she knew she was about to die I truly understood the depth of her love for me. Even in her pain, in her weariness, in her hopelessness, she thought of me first. She was more worried about how her death would affect me than she was about her own final moments on earth. It makes me cry every time I think of it. At her funeral, I played a version of M83 - Outro I made especially for her. I wish you could hear it. A mother should never bury their child.
