I usually read eBooks but it definitely drains my phone battery so much and I would love to get a Kindle one day. I never really looked into it that much but this is making me want to get one! I am so excited to read the Chestnut Springs and vlog the experience as well!
Ahh that was exactly what happened to me with reading on my phone too! Honestly, I have never once regretted buying my kindle. I use it at least once a day anddd I bring it EVERYWHERE that I go!❤️🤭
Hi! I love this review and I also use my kindle almost everyday and carry with me everywhere I my purse. I definitely finish books much faster with it. I also deal with the same issue with my phone vs kindle not synching to the current page I'm on. I think my case is solely because I need wifi connection in order for the kindle to update my page location from where I was at on my phone. Once I get back home and back on wifi it usually updates. So if I know I am not around wifi and was just reading on my phone I will sometimes just check which page I'm on on my phone and go to that page on my kindle to get back on track. Hope this helps!

I was wondering what you charge your kindle with?. If its a fast charger its not recommended as it can be bad for the battery long term. For this reason I use the official amazon 5v plug, and it takes 1-2hours to charge not sure on exact time and I will charge when its between 10-20 battery life as its also not good to let your battery fully die all the time. In regards to syncing your books it can take a short while but if you feel like it's an issue maybe restarting the device should help. I'm so glad I got the 11th generation a few months ago as I don't think I'd like the extra size of the 12th gen that's just been released, might feel to tablet size, can't fully say as I dont have one to compare with, but I'd be more concerned with the extra weight once a case and pop socket has been added, for me mine is heavy enough lol.

@@giannalian it's the plug that's the issue, as some plugs have higher voltage. I'm not sure wether American units are different but it's 5V here in the uk.

I feel like with physical books, we have the tendency to flip through the pages and see how much we have left and it makes the whole process feel so much longer than when we are reading on a device.
