Thanks for the comment ECWH60RD! 'twas I driving the old girl. KRU 224F is different to most vehicles of her age insofar as she is very much in active PSV service clocking up many miles on private hire workings. Driving the vehicle in a 'lively' fashion is necessary to make progress as this vehicle still has it's rather lackluster Bristol BVW engine that does not possess the torque that the Gardner 6LX, 6LXB, Leyland O.600 or O.680 engines have on tap. KRU 224F now spends most of her time on the engine governor at the mighty speed of 42MPH and this seems to suit the Bristol BVW engine rather well. Fuel economy is outstanding even with full loads running at 'high speed'. She works damn hard - but she is lavished with lots of TLC!

I think this is exemplary driving and it's lovely hearing the Bristol engine at work. I grew up in Notts, where MGO had Gardner powered semis.
This is the unusual FLF6B with a semi automatic trasmission.
Good old London❗☝️🙂👌👏🚍🚍🚍
Defo not a London bus.
Could have had a better view thru the video.
Who ever is driving is driving it heavily - treat it with care
Hi Cidertom
She does like it up her! Driven hard - yes. Driven irresponsibly - never! Showered with TLC - you bet'ya!
